"If we pursue our present fatal path, you will drive the ignorant to support coups d'état at one moment, and swell the forces of street rioters at the next, and we shall be left exposed to the pitiless fury of irresponsible mobs trying to avenge themselves by looting among the ruins." -- Léon Gambetta

Event Update For 2018-09-19
http://jumpingjackflashhypothesis.blogspot.com/2012/02/jumping-jack-flash-hypothesis-its-gas.html
The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.
A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

2018-09-19 - Movement of the Vavilov Ice Cap accelerates by more than 49,000 percent from unprecedented ice loss in the Russian High Arctic:

http://www.eurekalert.org/pub_releases/2018-09/uoca-uil091918.php
Quote: "In the last few years, the Vavilov Ice Cap in the Russian High Arctic has dramatically accelerated, sliding as much as 82 feet a day in 2015, according to a new multi-national, multi-institute study led by CIRES Fellow Mike Willis, an assistant professor of Geology at CU Boulder. That dwarfs the ice's previous average speed of about 2 inches per day and has challenged scientists' assumptions about the stability of the cold ice caps dotting Earth's high latitudes."
Note: From 2 inches per day to 82 feet per day is proportionally equivalent to a car going 10 miles per hour suddenly accelerating to 4,920 miles per hour. Ice caps melting quickly, Greenland losing a billion tons of ice to melt every day, methane exploding out of the ground and creating mammoth craters in Siberia as the permafrost thaws, permafrost melting away in Alaska and northern Canada - the Arctic region is undergoing rapid and profound destabilization...

On that pickup truck fire in downtown Austin on Waller St. It was within rock throwing distance from a rain swollen Waller Creek which empties into Lady Bird Lake which is a quarter mile or less from that spot. The lake looks like a wide river because it is the dammed up Colorado River.
ReplyDeleteI think a lot of the big trucks that burst into flame on I-35 in or near Austin pick up their H2S when crossing this river. Often in heavy traffic when it takes a lot of time to cross it. And heavy traffic is the norm.

An NTHE Mystery Story
The mystery of Environmental Coffee House and Sandy Schoelles
http://robinwestenra.blogspot.com/2018/09/a-nthe-mystery.html
Certain people just seem to bring trouble with them so I have been happily unsubscribed from Hambone's HumptyDumptyTribe for some time.
However, when I woke up this morning to this video from Hambone, who is desperately wondering what has happened to Sandy Schoelles from Environmental Coffee House.
Hambone, who is on very good terms with Sandy was left wondering what had happened after being unable to contact her, even by phone, for several weeks after a large party at Sandy's place to "celebrate" that we have escaped extinction for another year (sic).
Hambone links all this in with a couple of characters he found suspicious and came to the conclusion (seeing this was presumably the last time we heard from her - which turns out to be not quite true) that she is lying in a watery grave off Martha's Vineyard.
He followed it up a couple of hours later with this where he discovered that Sandy's disappeared You Tube channel was back up but with no content and with the face of the same "Antonio" he mentions in his video.
To make the conspiracy even more worrying there is also a picture of the very same place where Sandy allegedly met her untimely end.
By the time I saw it it did now have some content mostly videos from "Antonio"
While following this up out of the blue I got a message from "Sandy Arctic".
This was followed up with a message:
"It is all good, robin. I have some medical issues, and my long term disability carrier is giving me issues with videos. my lawyer advised me to stop making any videos for awhile. I need to straighten my life out. I have a new profile temporarily, Sandy Arctic.
I suggested that people's minds would be put at rest if she was able just to leave a quick voice message with her face.
Within a few minutes my iPad rang and I was able to talk to Sandy in person and establish that she is still very much alive and not lying in a watery grave.
"Oh you just THINK you talked to Sandy. The Deep State has voice mimicking technology down to a perfect "T"." (comment on You Tube)
This impression has been reinforced by being contacted by Debbie, Sane Progressive. She said she was withdrawing from Facebook and making a request to remove all the videos with her that I had posted to mirror videos that were taken down by Facebook or You Tube.
Fair enough, but the requests became more and more insistent that I was left with the distinct impression that she may be under some untoward attention from the Deep State and she had become fearful. Why else does a fearless commentator suddenly want all her videos removed? - all traces.
It appears to me that people who are trying to bring the truth are under attack and many people who previously had real guts are starting to buckle under pressure. [more]
Canadian crabs with bad attitude threaten coastal ecosystem – “What we’re seeing is this insane level of aggressiveness”
http://www.desdemonadespair.net/2018/09/canadian-crabs-with-bad-attitude.html
Green crabs from Nova Scotia are the same species as their cousins that already inhabit Maine waters, but are ornerier and angrier, threatening to accelerate harm to the coastal ecosystem by gobbling up soft-shell clams and destroying native eel grass, a researcher said.
The docile green crabs shrink from a threat, while the newcomers are more apt to wave their pincers and charge. [more]

I decided to remove my initial comment regarding "Seemorerocks" because in hindsight it seemed a little rough on him.
DeleteAt the very first I too fell for the ruse that Sandy was missing and she was under attack by the "Deep State". But I was pretty quickly able to see that it was a joke and that even Sandy and Antonio were aware and approving of it. I also know that Hambone is very good at doing a ruse with all seriousness and it is hard to know if he is full of it or not. Robin is not used to it obviously. Plus, I learned how to have a deadpan, dry delivery when joking from my own Dad. So I am just very well versed in this type of humor. Many are not.
I'll also say again that it was me who made the comment about the "Deep State" having perfect voice mimicking technology and so that wasn't Sandy that Robin really spoke with. Lol... I even posted on Robin's blog letting him know that I do believe he talked to the real Sandy.

Assange: Generation born now is the last to be free - from last interview before blackout

Before his links to the world was cut by his Ecuadorian hosts, WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange gave an interview on how technological advances are changing humankind. He said global surveillance will soon be totally unavoidable.
"This generation being born now... is the last free generation. You are born and either immediately or within say a year you are known globally. Your identity in one form or another - coming as a result of your idiotic parents plastering your name and photos all over Facebook or as a result of insurance applications or passport applications - is known to all major world powers." A thermal spring near Old Faithful in Yellowstone National Park has erupted for the fourth time in the last 60 years, a park official said Thursday.
Ear Spring on Yellowstone's Geyser Hill went from being dormant on Saturday to spewing steam and water between 20 and 30 feet high, a height not recorded since 1957, said park spokesman Neal Herbert. It has since continued to erupt at a near-constant height of about 2 feet, he said. [more]

The next big 'space weather' event poses an astronomical risk to modern man
ReplyDeletehttps://www.sott.net/article/396450-The-next-big-space-weather-event-poses-an-astronomical-risk-to-modern-man
Scientists are concerned about the next significant "space weather" event, which begins at the sun in the center of the solar system. Severe space weather occurs less frequently than traditional weather on Earth but can be more destructive in nature.
The sun is now headed towards a solar minimum, forecasted to arrive in 2019 as the Sun changes over from Solar Cycle 24 to Solar Cycle 25. The Sun goes through 11-year cycles, during which solar activity increases and decreases.
Scientists have discovered that intense activity such as sunspots and solar flares generally subside during a solar minimum. Dean Pesnell of NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland, said during a solar minimum, that does not mean the sun becomes dull. [so SOTT publishes this stuff but doesn't know what it means]
For instance, Pesnell warned, "during a solar minimum, we can see the development of long-lived coronal holes."
Coronal holes are large regions in the sun's atmosphere where the sun's magnetic field opens up and allows streams of solar particles known as coronal mass ejection (CME) to escape the sun as fast solar wind.
If the coronal hole is Earth-facing, then electrically charged particles from the Sun slam into Earth's magnetic field and cause intense electromagnetic storms around the planet. The impact of these particles on the electronic infrastructure underlying modern industrial civilization can be devastating, said the Financial Times.
CMEs disrupt GPS, satellites, and astronauts currently in space. Even airline crew and passengers get a markedly higher dose of radiation during solar storms, especially during polar-crossing, trans-oceanic flights.
And a repeat of the most significant solar storm on record, the 1859 Carrington Super-flare, would cost trillions of dollars in damage as power grids, communication networks, and electronic equipment worldwide would be knocked out.
A recent space weather event in late April 2017, allegedly knocked out power grids across the entire country in one simultaneous fashion. San Fransisco, New York, and Los Angeles were the three main areas affected. Each region experienced challenges or shutdowns in basic infrastructure such as communication networks and mass transportation. [more]
