Event Update For 2018-02-12

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

http://www.thehindu.com/news/states/three-leopards-found-dead-in-pune/article22735589.ece

Quote: "Just a week ago, three leopard cubs were found charred to death in a sugarcane field in a village of Junnar tehsil. It was suspected that sugarcane caught fire after an overhead electricity cable fell on crops due to a short circuit."

Note: And the leopards thought it'd be more fun to hang around and burn to death than leave the area when the sugarcane ignited? Maybe the leopards themselves burst into flame. Fur is much like clothing, as with the various people who've burst into flame and burned to death - it's their clothes spontaneously combusting, or in a few instances it's been their hair...

  1. Good day, all. i'm listening to the (Mike D.'s supplied) Hambone interview of Dr. Glickson (that we heard here interviewed by Kevin Hester last week) while reading this day's list of damage and death. Always worth it to listen to the people who are experts. [thanks Mike!]

Lots of (not so) good stuff listed here today - electrical infrastructure damage, continuing explosions and fires of living quarters (and buildings in general), accidents caused by people having medical issues and dying while driving, stronger storms with more precipitation, earthquakes and volcanic activity, and people dropping dead and/or bursting into flames, along with animal and marine die-off continuing.

[this, to start off today, links directly to Glickson's talk]

From the time Nixon abandoned the gold standard, it's been a ~50 year sliding scale of corruption. Now we're seeing level '11' profligacy and plundering of future generations on a scale that the Founding Fathers could not even mildly imagine.

Last week the bond market monkey hammered stocks in response to Trump's tax plan and mega budget.

Now, the rest of the world is dumping U.S. stocks in record size. Yesterday we learned that the S&P 500 ETF saw record outflows last week. Whereas the rest of the world saw no net outflow. [more]

    http://www.desdemonadespair.net/2018/02/he-predicted-2016-fake-news-crisis-and.html

In mid-2016, Aviv Ovadya realized there was something fundamentally wrong with the internet — so wrong that he abandoned his work and sounded an alarm. A few weeks before the 2016 election, he presented his concerns to technologists in San Francisco’s Bay Area and warned of an impending crisis of misinformation in a presentation he titled “Infocalypse.”

The web and the information ecosystem that had developed around it was wildly unhealthy, Ovadya argued. The incentives that governed its biggest platforms were calibrated to reward information that was often misleading and polarizing, or both. Platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Google prioritized clicks, shares, ads, and money over quality of information, and Ovadya couldn’t shake the feeling that it was all building toward something bad — a kind of critical threshold of addictive and toxic misinformation. The presentation was largely ignored by employees from the Big Tech platforms — including a few from Facebook who would later go on to drive the company’s NewsFeed integrity effort.

“At the time, it felt like we were in a car careening out of control and it wasn’t just that everyone was saying, ‘we’ll be fine’ — it’s that they didn't even see the car,” he said. [more]

    1. Tom I've been catching up on this Blackstone Investigation guy's videos on the LV shooting. I like his approach. Anyway, on the video I'll link below I noticed something that he missed. It has to do with two hunting licenses that Paddock purchased, or allegedly purchased, two years in a row. While Jake was focusing on the eye color and height he missed the addresses. Paddock was supposed to be a resident of Mesquite, NV. Both hunting licenses had Mesquite, TX, which is a suburb of Dallas. The zip code was also Texas, not Nevada. Each license had a different street address. I verified that both are indeed Mesquite, TEXAS street addresses.

I made a comment regarding this and even sent him an email.

Millions Of Android Devices Compromised, Mining For Monero
    https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/technology/millions-of-android-devices-compromised-mining-for-monero/ar-BBJ68g3

Millions of Android devices have quietly fallen victim to a “drive-by” campaign that uses the mobile device’s computing power to mine for the cryptocurrency Monero, researchers at cybersecurity firm Malwarebtyes found.

The attack, first discovered in January, has been ongoing since at least November 2017, according to the researchers. It uses malicious advertisements that contain hidden code that, when opened on an Android device, uses the processing power of the phone or tablet to generate cryptocurrency. [more]

  8. Trump privatizes America - chooses financial predation over production
    https://www.sott.net/article/377332-Trump-privatizes-America-chooses-financial-predation-over-production

    [regarding railroad rebuilding]
Well, to begin with, the way that Trump's plan is to be financed would triple the cost of what the engineers say, to $22 trillion. The reason is that it's a Thatcherite privatization scheme. Its economic philosophy reverses the last 150 years of public infrastructure in America. In fact, it's the biggest attack on industrial capitalism in over 100 years.

The whole history of how America built its roads, how it built the communication system, public health are examples of how governments make things work.

You can look at Germany and other successful economies. You look at what went well, but you have to look at what went wrong to see how the financial interests can take over these plans, privatize them, and somehow gut them, making them predatory instead of productive. [more]
