Event Update For 2016-04-09

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

  1. Hey Jonny. How you holdin' up?

Amazing amount of bad news here today.

Here's some more to add to it.

Two-thirds of world’s population affected by severe water scarcity
Four billion people face severe water scarcity, new research finds

Water shortages affecting two-thirds of world’s population for a month every year and the crisis is far worse than previously thought [how many times have we heard this?]

The Supply Chain is Rapidly Slowing Down

In terms of wholesale sales, as noted this morning, overall sales peaked in July 2014 – meaning nineteen months (thru Feb 2016) of deceleration into sustained contraction. Worse and what is probably the most concerning is that after those nineteen months inventory is only just now starting to correct, and it is doing so ever so gently. That suggests again slowdown without yet any visible end. In that sense, recession might actually be the best case since it would greatly speed up the affair in at least the convergence and reversion of inventory to sales (though that would still leave questions about the economic trend after it).

Drought threatens California despite El Nino

Climate Change: Hansen Paper: Multimeter Sea Level Rise by 2075?

Dr. James Hansen and an international group of 18 premier climate scientists published a new study on Tuesday titled, “Ice Melt, Sea Level Rise & Superstorms,” warning that popular climate change projections vastly underestimate the speed at which humanity could be faced with fast-developing, catastrophic effects driven by climate change. Those effects include near-term superstorms and multimeter sea-level rise within 60 years even if global warming peaks at 2°C over preindustrial levels.

In other words, we’re in a lot of trouble.

  2. You were right about heavy weather coming through here - whew, scary storms! Apparently some buildings got blown down in Oklahoma so I guess they got the worst of it. It was still bad enough here to send the cats scurrying for cover, and I was contemplating joining them under the bed. Heh.

  4. Economic Collapse Is Erupting All Over The Planet As Global Leaders Begin To Panic

Mainstream news outlets are already starting to use the phrase “economic collapse” to describe what is going on in some areas of our world right now. For many Americans this may seem a bit strange, but the truth is that the worldwide economic slowdown that began during the second half of last year is starting to get a lot worse. In this article, we are going to examine evidence of this from South America, Europe, Asia and North America. Once we are done, it should be obvious that there is absolutely no reason to be optimistic about the direction of the global economy right now. The warnings of so many prominent experts are now becoming a reality, and what we have witnessed so far are just the early chapters of a crushing economic crisis that will affect every man, woman and child in the entire world.
