2015 - JUN - Animal Die-Offs

2015-06-01 - Four cats sickened or killed, neurological symptoms, in Ithaca (New York):
http://www.syracuse.com/crime/index.ssf/2015/06/update_all_4_cats_poisoned_in_ithacas_collegetown_now_dead_a_5th_cat_being_monit.html

Quote: "The cats found alive did not appear to be ill or injured, but they had tremors and were unsteady on their feet, said Claudia Wheatley, senior public affairs officer for Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. They were euthanized Monday due to the severity of their neurological signs..."

Quote: "Experts believe the cats were poisoned, but they're not sure how. Several tests are pending."

Note: Kinda like the high school girls who played basketball outside in 2012 and then came down with neurological problems including head tics and twitching in Le Roy (New York), near the coast. Erin Brockovich got involved in that case but never found anything of note because she was looking in all the wrong places...

Quote: "As there are no marks indicating a fight or struggle, it might have died after being struck by lightning..."

Note: Say, hydrogen sulfide frequently kills animals without leaving any marks too, just like all the PEOPLE dropping dead without any sign of injury, often young and healthy people. Actually, lightning strong enough to kill an elephant would probably leave some burn marks. So, as India might say, 'Prima facie, this appears to be a case of hydrogen sulfide poisoning.'

Note: It's not just people sickening and dying all over the place but animals too, and especially oceanic species. In the Permian-Triassic extinction event - the same as the one currently underway - around 95% of ocean species went extinct, and around 70% of land-based species went extinct. Any species which reproduces slowly or which takes longer than a year or two to reach reproductive maturity is likely to die off entirely. Obviously that includes human beings...

Quote: "'We rarely see more than one fin whale carcass every couple of years,' said Kate Wynne, a UAF professor and Alaska Sea Grant marine mammal specialist, and the recent rash of dead whale discoveries is 'mysterious.'"

Quote: "They travel and feed in tight groups, behavior that supports the idea that the whales encountered something toxic at the same time in May, the UAF release said."
