Event Update For 2015-04-17

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

Category: Animal Die-Offs

2015-04-17 - Sardine population collapsing, sardine fishing to be closed for the year, on the West Coast:

Quote: "The mid-season closure highlights fishery managers' intense concern about a collapse that has decimated sardine stocks in recent years. Today, there are only 10 percent as many sardines in the water as there were in 2007. Council designee Michele Culver of the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife proposed the closure, calling it an 'urgent action.'"

Note: The die-off situation is getting dire on the West Coast. It's not just the sardines, but sea lions and birds and starfish dying off hard, whales washing ashore dead, and probably a lot of other living things are dying too, from Mexico to Canada. The West Coast is downwind/downstream of the mammoth dead zone known as the Great Pacific Garbage Patch, which has surely been pluming hydrogen sulfide for some time now, possibly since 2007, when the sardine collapse began, or even earlier, albeit at a lower level back then. There've been plenty of people mysteriously dying along the West Coast too...

2015-04-17 - Wolf population drops to 3 at Isle Royale National Park (Michigan):

Quote: "They have urged the National Park Service to bring more wolves to the island to reinvigorate the gene pool. But it may be too late to rescue the current population, which likely consists of one mating pair and a pup — all heavily inbred, biologist John Vucetich said. 'These are the last dying gasps,' he said."

Note: This is the 164th residential explosion in 2015...

Note: Here's a Google Maps link of the area...

2015-04-17 - Gas line explodes and burns near Highway 99 in Fresno (California), 11 injured:

Quote: "A California public works employee and a county jail inmate were seriously burned when a natural gas line exploded at a sheriff's gun range near Fresno Friday, sending a fireball into the sky and sparking several smaller fires, authorities said. Nine other inmates were also taken to area hospitals for treatment after the gas line near the Fresno County sheriff's shooting range exploded at around 2:30 p.m. (5:30 p.m. ET)..."

Quote: "A baseball game at nearby River Bluff Elementary was canceled when youngsters outside practicing about 2 miles away from the blast reported 'all of a sudden there was fire falling down around him,' one mom told The Fresno Bee."

2015-04-17 - Scrap market devastated by massive blaze in coastal Mumbai (India):

Note: "Fire officials don't know yet what caused the two trucks to catch on fire, but Hansen says it appears unlikely that it was an accident. 'It's just highly suspicious that two tractor trailers would catch on fire at the same time,' Hansen said."

Note: Same timeframe, same area, same atmosphere. The wee hours are when the atmosphere cools and contracts, which will push any methane and/or hydrogen sulfide in the air above closer to the ground, making fires, explosions and animals and people sickening and/or dying more common during those hours...

2015-04-17 - Tractor trailer bursts into flame on US 23 in Milan (Michigan):

It's already got some good-sized claws for such a little feller. Hopefully they'll let it go when it's big enough to have a chance of surviving on its own...

  1. Hi Jonny. Looks like they found a culprit for the 18 or so deaths in Nigeria (but i'm not totally convinced):

Pesticide poisoning likely to have caused mysterious deaths in Nigeria
"Tests done so far are negative for viral and bacterial infection," he added.

The victims began showing symptoms early last week in what Ondo state spokesman Kayode Akinmade called a "mysterious disease", prompting fears of a new infectious disease outbreak in a region ravaged by Ebola.

The victims, whose symptoms included headache, weight loss, blurred vision and loss of consciousness, died within a day of falling ill in the town of Ode-Irele, in southwestern Ondo state.

Rapidly spreading wildfire prompts evacuation of 300 homes in California

  2. I think blaming pesticide is even MORE suspicious. Pesticides are neurotoxins, and so is hydrogen sulfide. 'Likely' cause. So what did they rate the odds of this being caused by hydrogen sulfide? 0%. And what did they rate the chances of this being pesticide? 100%. Because that's all they can imagine as a possible cause. Well then, they're never gonna see the problem. Everyone in Nigeria will die from 'likely' exposure to pesticides, at least when it's a sizable number of people like this exhibiting neurological symptoms and rapid-onset death.

  3. Incidentally, Nigeria is where two young lawyers collapsed and died foaming at the mouth in their car, in Asaba, mentioned in the 2013-12-12 update. I had a feeling when that happened that for whatever reason Nigeria is getting hit harder than some places. So we'll see what they say as more of these mass-human-die-offs occur.

  4. Yes, i thought so too, but would rather you voice the concern, being that it's your blog and all.

    The Great Unraveling

The great unraveling of how climate catastrophe is unfolding on land and in the oceans, in the atmosphere and the cryosphere, is becoming more and more clear every month.

March 2015 temperatures were the highest for March in the 136-year period of record. NOAA analysis shows that the average temperature across global land and ocean surface temperatures combined for March 2015 was 0.85°C (1.53°F) higher than the 20th century average of 12.7°C (54.9°F).

The rise in Northern Hemisphere ocean temperatures was especially profound in September and October 2014, when methane started to erupt from the Arctic Ocean seafloor in huge quantities. [lots more, and graphs]

  5. Yeah, lotta charts and graphs, thanks! And whoa, the oceanic heating is looking baaaad. And those curves look hyperbolic, which means things will continue to get worse at an even faster rate than they've already been worsening up to now. It's hard to imagine just how bad things are going to get going forward.
