Event Update For 2013-02-23

Full Hypothesis

Summary of Hypothesis

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

Prediction A - More Fires and Explosions, Especially Coastal

2013-02-23 - Two more major fires erupt at homes in Buffalo (New York):

Quote: "Two more fires ripped through Buffalo homes on Saturday, which brings the total to six over the past two days and includes one death, at least three dozen people displaced and $630,000 in damage."

Quote: "And four second alarms within about 28 hours – that’s a lot."

Note: Buffalo sits on the shore of Lake Erie, next to the Niagara River. Lake Erie has had a dead zone problem of its own for years, so not only is it a low-lying area where a heavier-than-air gas like hydrogen sulfide will accumulate when the wind isn't blowing and from where accumulated gas will blow when the wind picks up, the lake may very well also be a direct source now itself of hydrogen sulfide emissions...

2013-02-23 - Fast-moving blaze destroys eight homes in Shenandoah (Pennsylvania) in Schuylkill County, 1 injured:,0,4135784.story

Note: Shenandoah is virtually surrounded by reservoirs...

2013-02-23 - Explosion and fire destroy home in Haddon Heights (New Jersey), 2 injured:

Note: They assume a gas leak caused the initial explosion. How do they know the explosion didn't cause a gas leak? Looking at that fire, obviously they can't know, so they are assuming. Well, I'll just leave the jumping to conclusions and assuming to the professionals...

2013-02-23 - Massive fire destroys more than 70 golf carts and shed in Bluffton (South Carolina), near the coast:

Note: A similar fire recently destroyed dozens of golf carts and a pole barn in Crystal Township (Michigan), as mentioned in the 2013-02-20 update. Golf carts are usually NOT combustion vehicles, but rather battery-powered. Well, hydrogen sulfide is reactive with copper, especially 'hot' copper with a charge going through it, like, say, the cables that connect to batteries in golf carts or cars or RVs or trucks or boats, etc. This vulnerability is very likely why so many non-running vehicles are spontaneously combusting inside garages, parking garages, parking lots, while parked on streets or in driveways, etc. Battery fires breaking out was also why the Boeing Dreamliner fleet was grounded...

2013-02-23 - Boat explodes and burns in coastal Picton (New Zealand), 2 injured:

2013-02-23 - Basement fire erupts at home in Yorktown Heights (New York), near New Croton Reservoir:

Note: Basements are where a heavier-than-air gas like hydrogen sulfide will tend to accumulate once the gas infiltrates a house. Also, basements are often where water heaters and gas dryers (and pilot lights) are located, as well as electrical panels, and hydrogen sulfide is reactive with copper, especially 'hot' copper with a charge running through it. This particular fire was an electrical fire...

2013-02-23 - Fire damages home near Jimmerson Lake (Indiana):

2013-02-23 - Fire breaks out at home in Deep River (Canada), couple found dead inside:

2013-02-23 - Vacant home burns in coastal Wachapreague (Virginia), in Virginia's Eastern Shore area:

Note: Dozens of fires have broken out in vacant structures in this area since November. That's been happening in a great many towns and cities, but this area probably the worst. Nobody has ever seen an arsonist, there is no surveillance footage of any people being involved here, no motive, no nothin'. These fires in vacant structures, here and elsewhere, are very highly likely caused by hydrogen sulfide and/or methane getting into the structures and any nearby wood, or cloth, or furniture, or dead trees, or dried brush, or any flammable absorbent material, and eventually spontaneously combusting. Hydrogen sulfide is also reactive with copper and rusted iron or steel, so that may be serving as an ignition source in some cases too, like nail heads on the outside of the boards with which they frequently board up vacant homes...

2013-02-23 - Vacant home under renovation destroyed by fire in Slidell (Louisiana), near Lake Pontchartrain:

2013-02-23 - Vacant home burns in Thunder Bay (Canada), second in a week:

Quote: "The house is just blocks away from a vacant Cumming Street apartment building that was consumed by fire on Feb. 17."

2013-02-23 - Vacant mobile home destroyed by fire in Laurys Station (Pennsylvania):

Prediction B - More Animal Die-Offs

2013-02-23 - Protected crows dropping dead in Albuquerque (New Mexico):

Quote: "'Screaming, they're rolling trying to I guess deal with the pain,' Brem explained. 'To me I could see they were being poisoned.' Brem says seven crows died in her yard in just seven days. She explained she watched them seize, struggle to walk then pass out."

Note: Yep, and hydrogen sulfide is highly poisonous, and can cause disorientation, seizures, unconsciousness, death. If this lady spends more time outdoors, she'll probably start experiencing the same thing as those protected crows...
Prediction D - More Corpses In Low-Lying Areas

2013-02-23 - Charred corpse found in burning tow truck at scenic overlook near the Delaware Water Gap, near Knowlton (New Jersey):

Quote: "Prima facie it seemed that Singh was given any poisonous substance that led to his death because there were no any injury marks on his body..."

Note: Poisonous substance, yes. Given? Well, I suppose you could say that the ancient anaerobic bacteria that produce hydrogen sulfide are 'giving it to us', if you wanna look at it that way, sure...

Note: Or some kind of seizure, anyway...

2013-02-23 - Tractor trailer crashes out-of-control in coastal West Java (Indonesia) after brake failure, 16 dead, 10 injured:

Quote: "He said the truck driver appeared to have lost control when his brakes failed, and hit a minivan and dozens of motorcycles near a factory before crossing the road and hitting a number of cars before slamming into several houses."

Note: So he hit a minivan, dozens of motorcycles, a number of cars AND several houses. Whew. As mentioned, tires are absorbing hydrogen sulfide and/or methane, probably the former since it is a heavier-than-air gas and tires rest on the ground. Then when brakes are applied, the hydrogen sulfide causes the brake-friction to generate far more heat than normal (hydrogen sulfide burns very hot), and then bad things happen: tires ignite and/or explode, brakes and/or brake lines burn up, power steering and hydraulic lines may rupture or ignite, the entire vehicle may catch fire and burn up, or all of the above. This problem is more likely to manifest with massive vehicles, because more mass means more brake-friction required to slow, but it's hitting smaller vehicles here and there too (SUVs, pickups, etc). Motorcycles don't seem to be too heavily affected by this problem, at least not yet, probably because although they only have half the tires, they also have LESS than half the mass of the average vehicle...

Other Stories Of Interest

2013-02-23 - Man and woman found burned to death in burning SUV outside home in Cogan Station (Pennsylvania), blamed on murder-suicide:

Note: Huh, and I just mentioned the day prior, in the 2013-02-22 update, that they might try to disguise some of the corpses being found burned in burning or burned-out vehicles as murders or suicides. Well, who knows, maybe it WAS a murder-suicide here. Regardless, with all the charred corpses being found in vehicles now, it's time to pay close attention to such events...
