Event Update For 2021-12-02

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

2021-12-02 - Passenger plane hit by unknown chemical smell, dozens sickened, plane makes emergency landing in El Paso (Texas):

Quote: "Dozens of passengers onboard became violently ill."

Quote: "El Paso firefighters initiated a triage and hazmat response after a plane made an emergency landing Thursday evening at El Paso International Airport with numerous passengers reported to be nauseous after being overcome by unknown fumes."

Quote: "Those passengers told ABC-7 that they smelled strong chemical fumes midway through the flight, which prompted the emergency landing in El Paso."

Note: Obviously not carbon monoxide, since nobody would have smelled carbon monoxide, seeing as carbon monoxide is odorless. Reminds me of an incident on the US West Coast, in Santa Monica, California, where a foul odor blew in off the ocean and sickened a bunch of people, and the authorities blamed that on a 'naturally occurring methane release' from Santa Monica Bay. Well, maybe there was methane TOO, but the foul odor was definitely something else, because methane is also odorless. Could be this plane flew through a cloud of poison gas. That's gonna happen from time to time. No way to avoid it...

2021-12-02 - Zombie fires burn at -60C outside Oymyakon, the world’s coldest permanently inhabited place, in Siberia (Russia):

Note: Many millions of acres burned across Siberia this year in the biggest fires in all of recorded history. There are probably numerous zombie fires smoldering right now all across Siberia waiting for late winter or early spring to kickstart another round of cataclysmic fires. These Siberian fires are a self-reinforcing feedback unto themselves. The fires help melt the permafrost, which releases more flammable methane and more carbon dioxide, both of which warm the planet, which results in yet more/bigger fires and more melted permafrost, and so on and so on. The fuse has been lit and now the Arctic carbon bomb is detonating right before our eyes. That'll be way more obvious once the whole planet is burning non-stop, of course, but people will probably be too busy dying to pay much attention at that point...

2021-12-02 - Late fall heat shatters records on the US West Coast:

Quote: "The heat wave was initially expected to bring temperatures into the mid-70s, but it proved even more potent. The weather service said temperatures rose to 80 degrees in Gilroy, a mark that broke by five degrees a record for the city previously set in 1958, according to the weather service. At San Jose Airport, the high temperature Wednesday of 75 degrees broke the previous mark of 72 set in 1927. In downtown San Francisco, the mercury read 73, two degrees more than the previous high in 1959. Oakland also was 73, breaking a seven-year-old mark."

Quote: "Now, this may seem surprising, but the deviations of the temperatures from normal today (20-30F above normal) were comparable to those experienced during the great June heatwave."

Note: It was pleasantly warm here in the Midwest too. I'm not one to complain about pleasant warmth, but the fact is that a lot of trees depend on their winter sleep and without it they die. Winter isn't optional for them. So I hope the heat goes away and we get some cold weather. But after seeing the temperature surpass 100F above the Arctic Circle for the first time ever this year, and after seeing CANADA hit 121F this year, completely obliterating their national all-time heat record, well, who knows. The climate is clearly destabilizing, that's for sure...
