Event Update For 2021-02-23

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

2021-02-23 - Glacier melt accelerating due to warming ocean waters in the Getz region of West Antarctica:

Quote: "Scientists have just taken a detailed look at the ice streams flowing into the ocean along a 1,000km-stretch of coastline known as the Getz region. It incorporates 14 glaciers - and they've all speeded up. Since 1994, they've lost 315 gigatonnes of ice - equivalent to 126 million Olympic swimming pools of water."

Quote: "On average, the speed of all 14 glaciers in the region increased by almost a quarter between 1994 and 2018, with the velocity of three central glaciers increasing by more than 40%. One particular ice stream was found to be flowing 391m/year faster in 2018 than it was in 1994 - a 59% increase in just two and a half decades. The probable cause, once again, is what researchers call 'ocean forcing'. Relatively warm deep ocean water is getting under the glaciers' floating fronts and melting them from below."

Note: Sounds like how landslides and avalanches work - they start small and slow then speed up and gain force and size over time...

  1. From here in central Texas I am reporting that last week's Arctic Blast was all fake. Didn't happen. All green screened deception. And Trump is still President and ruling from Florida according to my Q following acquaintance. Biden "inauguration" was done in a Hollywood studio. Rush Limbaugh also didn't die. Fake...Fake...Fake. All is fake. My Pillow Guy is Secretary of the Treasury now.

Kidding aside, yes the Arctic Blast was real, and real bad. I went 53 and a half straight hours with no power. Both nights got down into the single digits. I had to use a propane portable camp heater and also a propane camp stove to keep myself and my elderly, disabled mother from freezing to death. I also used a couple of oil lamps and candles for lighting. At the end of those two days I had a massive headache from mostly carbon monoxide. Strangely it didn't affect my mother. I think it's because she's such a shallow breather anymore.

On Tuesday here it got up to 80F. Yesterday it went well above 80. This early morning I woke up feeling actually a bit warm. It was in the mid 60s around 3AM. Big time Boomerang effect. I see that there will be a lot of landscaping replacement this spring. I'm sure even the native trees and plants are struggling going from 5F to 83F in just one week.

But alas.....I lived so I can still experience the pure hell that is on the way. Unless H2S drops me with a thud quickly sometime. Here's hoping!

    1. Same situation here in North East Oklahoma Mike. Last weeks negative wind chills to 78 on Tuesday, I'm so not looking forward to"tornado season" as we've already had conditions right for one last month, which hasn't happened for 40 years. So, here's to a quick death as opposed to becoming a naked zombie who gets to be on the news.

  2. Wishing you a good Thursday Jonny, all.

It warmed up a bit here yesterday, so some of the snow melted off.

FAA Releases Statement On Airliner's Encounter With Unidentified Object Over New Mexico

After nearly three days of waiting, and following American Airlines confirming the incident to The War Zone, we finally have received a statement from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regarding the recent bizarre encounter between American Airlines Flight 2292 and an unidentified fast-moving cylindrical object over New Mexico.

The events occurred on the afternoon of February 21, in the remote northeastern corner of the state. The pilots on board the Airbus A320, which was heading from Cincinnati to Phoenix, came on the radio channel with the Albuquerque Air Route Traffic Control Center and stated: "Do you have any targets up here? We just had something go right over the top of us - I hate to say this but it looked like a long cylindrical object that almost looked like a cruise missile type of thing - moving really fast right over the top of us."

American Airlines told The War Zone that the transmission was indeed authentic and forward any further inquiries to the FBI. This was a clear indication that the incident was under serious investigation outside the purview of the FAA. [more; audio clip of pilot's statement provided]

The U.S. Air Force Just Admitted The F-35 Stealth Fighter Has Failed

we’re talking about the F-35. The 25-ton stealth warplane has become the very problem it was supposed to solve. And now America needs a new fighter to solve that F-35 problem, officials said.

With a sticker price of around $100 million per plane, including the engine, the F-35 is expensive. While stealthy and brimming with high-tech sensors, it’s also maintenance-intensive, buggy and unreliable. [more; see how the military/industrial complex gets rich while selling us JUNK!]

Chicago Has Become A Rotting, Decaying, Crime-Ridden Hellhole – And The Rest Of America Will Soon Follow

I don’t know why anyone would want to live in Chicago at this point. According to the latest estimate that I could find, “over 117,000 gang members” currently live in the city, and there is so much violence that it regularly makes headlines all over the globe. Some of the wealthy areas of Chicago still look nice, but many communities have been transformed into something straight out of a war zone. Large churches, hospitals and factories that were once so beautiful are now rotting and decaying all over the city, and a vibrant open air drug market scares customers away from local businesses. Sadly, the truth is that the entire country is going down the exact same path that Chicago has gone. [more]

  3. American Culture Has Fundamentally Changed Over The Past Several Decades

Literally every moment of every day, forces on both sides are engaged in a relentless battle for your mind. Virtually everything you watch on television, listen to on the radio and look at on the Internet is designed to shape how you view the world. Our education system, our largest corporations and politicians in both major parties are also used as tools in the culture war. Both sides would like to achieve victory, but as you will see below, only one side has been making significant progress.

A survey that was conducted in 2020 found that an all-time high 70 percent of all Americans now support same-sex marriage…

This represents a colossal shift from what Americans believed several decades ago.

If you go back to 1988, only 11 percent of Americans supported gay marriage…

If one side is able to go from 11 percent in the polls to 70 percent, it is safe to say that side is winning the “culture war” on that particular issue.

Another hot button issue in the “culture war” is abortion.

According to a survey that was conducted last year, Americans want to keep Roe v. Wade in place by a more than two to one margin…

Only 28 percent of Americans are opposed to gay marriage at this point, and only 29 percent of Americans want to overturn Roe v. Wade.

For those on the “conservative” side of the “culture war”, those are not very good numbers at all.

Perhaps the primary reason why we have seen poll results shift so much over the past several decades is because an increasing number of Americans are rejecting traditional Christian values. As one recent survey discovered, this has particularly been true for Democratic voters… [more; most have been indoctrinated to the "science" doctrine, which is full of lies, deception and dogmatic (rather than critical) thinking]

Somalia and Ethiopia have lost their fight against the new locust invasion: Thousands of farmers in Kenya are counting huge losses as desert locusts are ravaging their farms daily. The locusts come at a time produce grown in Kenya is ready to be harvested

Thousands of farmers in Meru county are counting huge losses as desert locusts are ravaging their farms daily. The locusts come at a time when most of the produce grown in eastern Kenya is ready to be harvested. These farmers are among hundreds of thousands from 14 other Kenyan counties who are affected by a second wave of the locust plague that is two times deadlier than the one that hit Kenya in 2020. 1. Well I myself have also proudly rejected "Christian values". But of course what this moron from the website you just love to share Tom means is the far right wing evangelical nut job values. I still believe in striving to be truthful and to treat others in the way I'd like to be treated. And I think I do a better job at that than many of the evangelotard multimillionaire preachers who often get caught fucking the women in their congregation. Or get caught doing even worse things. Yeah, spare me the right wing Christofascist Pablum Tom. The endofamerica website is full of shit.

And I am very pro-choice. Proudly so. And gays don't bother me one bit. I'm against getting a sanctioned piece of paper from the government certifying any marriage. But gays getting married doesn't cause me to lose sleep. We "straights" are the ones who destroyed this "institution".

  4. [from our medical overlords, this bit of nonsense]
ZERO Cases Of Flu Have Been Detected In England In 2021 – Hallelujah!

Public Health England is yet to record a single case of flu in 2021. It’s a miracle. Praise the Baby Jesus. We should be in the height of the annual flu season, but the flu is nowhere to be seen.

Why has flu disappeared? Simple. It’s down to the brutality of the lockdown measures of course! While flushing your businesses down the toilet, staying home, abandoning Granny, wearing masks, washing your hands 500 times a day and avoiding other people like the plague has done sweet sod all to stop Covid…’s killed off the flu!

The decrease in flu cases this year is likely due to changes in our behaviour, such as social distancing, face coverings and handwashing, as well as the reduction in international travel.

Look, if people swallow this horseshit, they’ll swallow anything. There’s no hope for them. Flu has not disappeared. It has been renamed coronavirus. That is not the opinion of a cranky, baldy, middle-aged Irish broadcaster. That’s a fact Jack. There can be no doubt. I’m getting sick of my own voice now but I’ll say it one more time.

They are laughing in our faces! They know that if they can get away with a whopper this size, they are home and dry. We’ll take anything right? As usual, the most depressing aspect of this for me is the medias failure to take the open goal. It’s on a feckin plate! They could bury these lying scumbags and end this scam in twenty minutes.

  5. What are the Ten Steps to Fascism? How Did We Get Here?

    1. Invoke a terrifying internal and external enemy [COVID, China/Russia, conservatives]

    2. Create a gulag [FEMA camps wait in the wings]

    3. Develop a thug caste [Antifa, BLM, Facebook, Twitter, etc.]

    4. Set up an internal surveillance system [Facebook, Twitter, etc]

    6. Engage in arbitrary detention and release [Covid bullshit]

    7. Target key individuals [any dissenting voice]

    8. Control the press [liberal media]

    9. Dissent equals treason [the stolen (s)election]

    10. Suspend the rule of law [where we are now]

    [from Naomi Wolf]
I’m updating The End of America and the Ten Steps to Fascism to let you know how we got to be at Step Ten: Suspend the Rule of Law.

The playbook of fascism, I must stress, is nonpartisan, and President Trump did not invent what we are living through now. He merely built upon it. The Ten Steps of Fascism were around long before he was. But turning the Covid-19 pandemic into an opportunity for authoritarianism isn’t just an idea, it’s happening as I laid out in part 1 of this series here.

During the administration of President Obama, I (and several others) warned that Democrats were taking the authoritarian structures built up by George W. Bush, and adding news levels of oppression on the foundation already laid. President Obama was the one who took the unprecedented step of droning to death an American citizen, Anwar Al-Awlaki and his teenage son It was Obama who promised to close Guantanamo as part of his campaign agenda, then built it up a mere six months later, an expansion that I witnessed as a journalist; Obama, again, whose lawyers argued for the right to imprison journalist Chris Hedges without charge or trial, under the 2012 NDAA, a shocking piece of legislation that allows the President to detain anyone indefinitely without due process. It was he who presided over the violent, co-ordinated 2011 crackdown by DHS against the Occupy Wall Street movement, which could have been a dress rehearsal for today’s even more escalated violence against protesters.

The war on whistleblowers intensified under President Obama’s Department of Justice: He subpoenaed reporters such as James Risen. He advanced the prosecution of Chelsea Manning. President Obama went after more people under the Espionage Act than had any previous President, according to the Committee to Protect Journalists. Examples of his push to build up further the structures of fascism he inherited, could go on and on.

But since he was a telegenic President with an uplifting rhetorical style, not to mention the otherwise inspiring fact that he was our first President of color, these abuses of democratic processes went disregarded by the left and by most mainstream media.

The problem with Fascistic processes and institutions being built up, though, is that then they are there for the next President, the one you don’t like, to use and to abuse. And here we are. [more]

House Dems, targeting right-wing cable outlets, are assaulting core press freedoms

Democrats' justification for silencing their adversaries online and in media -- "they are spreading fake news and inciting extremism" -- is what despots everywhere say.

Not even two months into their reign as the majority party that controls the White House and both houses of Congress, key Democrats have made clear that one of their top priorities is censorship of divergent voices. [more]

  6. [remember how they HOWLED when Trump did it]
Media hypocrisy: 'Kids in cages' become 'shelters' under the loving embrace of Joe Biden

    [from Tweet]
When a Republican is in office, they're "cages"
When a Democrat is in office, they're "shelters"

Here's what the WaPo article said:

Government officials say the camp is needed because facilities for migrant children have had to cut capacity by nearly half because of the coronavirus pandemic. At the same time, the number of unaccompanied children crossing the border has been inching up, with January reporting the highest total — more than 5,700 apprehensions — for that month in recent years.

Huh, that's funny. So such "kids in cages" facilities are okay now because of the Rona? And what's that about illegal border activity increasing? Since the WaPo purports to be a news organization, you'd think they'd ask the logical question of why said crossings started increasing in January.

Could it be - and I'm just spitballing here - that perhaps Trump's tough immigration policies kept the number of crossings down, therefore reducing the number of kids that needed to be housed in "cages?" [more; oh no, mustn't think THAT]

'Papers, please': Vaccine Passports have officially arrived

For a weary public longing to get back to normalcy, vaccine passports represent a tantalizing carrot, being dangled as a mechanism for freedom. By showing proof that you've received a COVID-19 vaccine, perhaps you can once again board an airplane and travel freely, attend a concert or enjoy a meal in your favorite restaurant, just like you used to.

Except, being required to present your "papers" in order to live your life isn't actually freedom at all — it's discrimination, and even a move toward technocratic fascism, one that's setting the stage for increased surveillance and erosion of your privacy.

Nonetheless, this blatant move toward an ever-increasing surveillance state is being welcomed by many who have been led to believe the passports are necessary to protect public health and safety. [more; see how they sneak in FASCISM via medical nonsense]

    [7th segment further down]

  8. COVID-19 appears to be dying off. Was this the plan? [Video]

The video clip shows the only nation to have reported the drop in the last month was India. Something to think about.

Hear much about COVID-19 lately? Sure you do, you think. We hear about vaccinations taking place and all manner of furor about whether the vaccine is any good, or if it is a mind-control drug or some fiercely dangerous compound that kills more people than the virus it is supposed to protect everybody from. In the United States, the ferocity of this argument appears to be fierce, while in Russia it is quiet. Life goes on, at least in Russia, with businesses beginning to run "as usual" once again.

But have you heard much about COVID-19 itself, lately? That is the question here. The answer is probably "no."

From a peak level of just over 300,000 new cases per day noted in the US, the number is now 69,000.

[SOTT]Comment: The sharp decline in cases is probably the result of the new guidelines issued by WHO to all labs that are making PCR tests to decrease the number of amplification cycles because up to 90% of tests made with higher amplification cycles (Ct40) were false positives.

The new guidelines from WHO were issued immediately the installation of Biden and his administration in the White House. [yup]

What does this mean? Is the pandemic over? Is this because of the success of vaccinations?

The honest answer is we really do not know. COVID is still a (publicly) unknown disease. I am saying "publicly" because I suspect that this illness was either used or even deployed to make sure it had the required effects: namely to remove a very strong US President and allow China to try to organize the world according to its government's own desires. I suspect a lot of people hopped right on board that plan, though the virus has caused problems worldwide, with very nasty illnesses and very cruel deaths.

I say this in hopes that I am wrong. Pandemics arise about every century or two, and we have now had ten of them recorded in the Christian era. This one is very mild as pandemics go. Also, I do not like conspiracy theories, but there is so much evidence of manipulation of this crisis (at the very least) that it does seem clear that there has been some co-opting of the virus if it is natural, and after that, the curve only leans towards artificial or deliberate actions to bring it about. [snark from Babylon Bee]
Dr. Fauci reminds everyone that we will only have to wear masks until humans evolve organic face coverings at birth

After causing an uproar for constantly extending how long masks will be required, Dr. Fauci has finally provided much some needed answers. In a recent interview, Dr. Fauci has once and for all explained that we will only need to wear cloth masks until humans evolve them.

"As soon as humans naturally evolve an organic nose and mouth covering at birth, then we can start dialing back on the mask mandates." clarified Dr. Fauci. "This isn't going to be some endless, arbitrary policy. We have clear, scientific measures informing us when masks are obsolete." [more]

Flesh-eating ulcer spreads to inner Melbourne suburbs

A flesh-eating disease affecting parts of coastal Victoria has spread to inland Melbourne for the first time, with several cases reported in Essendon, Moonee Ponds and Brunswick West.

Victorian Chief Health Officer Brett Sutton said on Tuesday that the risk of acquiring the ulcer in those areas was considered low, but "this is the first non-coastal area in Victoria to be recognised as a potential area of risk". [more]

  9. Damn, Mike, sounds rough, sorry you got caught up in that!

  10. I here ya Mike. Again, i'm just posting - it's all nonsense to me. I have gay friends and aquaintainces, 2 black grand-children that I love, and don't do organized religion. I'm a (old) former independent voter - now anarchist in spirit and won't be fooled again into voting.

I don't give a shit what people think, because every one of us is fucked up (simply maintaining one's composure shows we aren't willing to put our lives on the line unless directly threatened, going along with the omnicide so we too can "enjoy life"). I do, however, enjoy intelligent conversation, "comparing notes", and commiserating with like-minded individuals. I don't mind debating "facts", but people in general can't hold it together when their worldview is challenged.

That said, thanks for checking in man. I was thinking about you during the past week especially. I'm smiling knowing that you're still with us.

I've been concerned for your safety since you shared your occupation, and I'm glad you and yours survived.

If there is anything I can do to help, ask and I'll try to put something together.

Thanks to you and Mike for the updates.
There's no way of knowing better than 1st hand accounts if one isn't there.

I stopped posting about our winter, which has dropped more precipitation than in the last at least 3 seasons, after seeing the mind-boggling conditions you two had to endure.

Longest I lost power (with no generator, no heat and no running water) was 4.5 days one year (forget which). I was ready to die.

We all seem to agree that being a member of the JJFH sudden death roster will be a blessing sometime soon.

It's coming for all of us in some form or another.

    1. Growing up in the Southern Baptist bible belt I have a button whenever I hear or read anyone decrying that "America has changed because of gay marriage and abortion...yada, yada, yada...." And usually the ones who do the decrying are themselves guilty of sins and perversions that would make a citizen of NYC or San Francisco blush. I really don't understand why you share such pap from that moron who has the "end of america" blog. Yes, he does post some relevant things regarding the state of the economy and such. But he's way too much of a preachy know-it-all. Again, as someone who has listened to this nonsense my whole just gets old. Sometimes infuriating.

    2. i'll stop posting his crap if it bothers you, Mike.

    3. It's just if you are going to post something that promotes a christian right wing evangelical viewpoint then I'm going to respond. Frankly I don't know what christian fucktard fascism has to do with JJFH. I probably need to go back to just ignoring the comments section. Last year you were promoting Qanon's BS which is why I ignored the comments from Nov until this week.

  11. 6-year-old found alone in car, crying for their mother. Police trace footprints in the snow to find woman and 11-year-old child dead in river

Police in New Jersey are investigating the deaths of a mother and an 11-year-old boy who were found dead in a river in Boonton.

According to CBS New York, police were called to the riverfront at about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, after witnesses reported a young child alone in a parked car, crying for its mother.

Responding officers observed footprints in the snow that led them to Rockaway River, where they found the bodies of a woman and child at the top of a waterfall.

“Canvas of the area revealed a female adult, approximately mid-30s, and a male child, approximately 11 years old, were found in the water at the top of the waterfall that the river goes into,” said Robert Caroll, acting Morris County prosecutor. “It’s obviously a very sad day when children are involved in this type of situation. It’s a horrible situation.”

According to the report, police indicated they believed bodies were carried by the current.

Authorities have not released the identities of the victims or commented on a possible cause of death. While investigators apparently believe the woman is the mother of the child found alone in a car, officials have not yet confirmed that the deceased child is also hers. [more]

  12. A Defense of the Reality of Time
Time isn’t just another dimension, argues Tim Maudlin. To make his case, he’s had to reinvent geometry.

Physicists and philosophers seem to like nothing more than telling us that everything we thought about the world is wrong. They take a peculiar pleasure in exposing common sense as nonsense. But Tim Maudlin thinks our direct impressions of the world are a better guide to reality than we have been led to believe. [so then, the Earth is flat]

He defends a homey and unfashionable view of time. It has a built-in arrow. It is fundamental rather than derived from some deeper reality. Change is real, as opposed to an illusion or an artifact of perspective. The laws of physics act within time to generate each moment. Mixing mathematics, physics and philosophy, Maudlin bats away the reasons that scientists and philosophers commonly give for denying this folk wisdom.

The mathematical arguments are the target of his current project, the second volume of New Foundations for Physical Geometry (the first appeared in 2014). Modern physics, he argues, conceptualizes time in essentially the same way as space. Space, as we commonly understand it, has no innate direction — it is isotropic. When we apply spatial intuitions to time, we unwittingly assume that time has no intrinsic direction, either. New Foundations rethinks topology in a way that allows for a clearer distinction between time and space. Conventionally, topology — the first level of geometrical structure — is defined using open sets, which describe the neighborhood of a point in space or time. “Open” means a region has no sharp edge; every point in the set is surrounded by other points in the same set.

Maudlin proposes instead to base topology on lines. He sees this as closer to our everyday geometrical intuitions, which are formed by thinking about motion. And he finds that, to match the results of standard topology, the lines need to be directed, just as time is. Maudlin’s approach differs from other approaches that extend standard topology to endow geometry with directionality; it is not an extension, but a rethinking that builds in directionality at the ground level.

Why might one think that time has a direction to it? That seems to go counter to what physicists often say.

I think that’s a little bit backwards. Go to the man on the street and ask whether time has a direction, whether the future is different from the past, and whether time doesn’t march on toward the future. That’s the natural view. The more interesting view is how the physicists manage to convince themselves that time doesn’t have a direction. [more; if interested]

  13. In my reply to FRAN and Mike D., i somehow dropped her name in the beginning of the sentence that reads: "I've been concerned for your safety since you shared your occupation, and I'm glad you and yours survived." which was directed at her specifically (because she once shared that she was a care-giver to the elderly). Sorry for the poor editing, i meant well.

    1. I enjoy your posts Tom and thanks for thinking of us. It is nice to get an idea of what is happening in the world of propaganda no matter where the propaganda comes from.
