Event Update For 2019-12-20

http://jumpingjackflashhypothesis.blogspot.com/2012/02/jumping-jack-flash-hypothesis-its-gas.html

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

2019-12-20 - East Siberian Arctic Shelf now pluming methane into the atmosphere at an accelerating rate:
http://earth.org/methane-emissions-in-the-arctic-could-amplify-global-warming/

Quote: "In October, scientists from the Tomsk Polytechnic University in Russia recorded the highest-ever amounts of methane in the air over the East Siberian Arctic Shelf (ESAS) during a 40-day research voyage led by chief scientist Igor Semiletov."

Quote: "The scientists surveyed 60 sites across the ESAS known to have had methane emissions from underwater permafrost in the past. Each emission site varies in size, ranging from 100 square metres to a square kilometre. The water at these sites looks as though it’s boiling as methane bubbles to the surface."

Quote: "'The methane emissions, which look like torches or flares, are all increasing,' Semiletov said."

Quote: "Professor Shakhova warns that the release of only a small fraction of the methane held in the ESAS could trigger further abrupt climate warming via positive feedback mechanisms..."

http://www.thebigwobble.org/2019/12/aussie-bushfire-update-no-11-fire.html
http://www.bbc.com/news/business-50862349

Quote: "Hundreds of bushfires are raging across Australia, with hotspots in every state. And a fire tracker map maintained by researchers in Western Australia, shows that they are also threatening areas around every major city in the country."

Quote: "How big are these fires? 2.7 million hectares have burned in NSW alone, since June the 1st. The massive 2018 Californian fires consumed 1.8 million hectares. The 2019 Amazon fires consumed just under 1 million hectares."

Note: So the wildfires in just New South Wales alone in Australia have burned almost as much land as the monstrous 2018 California wildfires and the mammoth 2019 Amazon fires in Brazil and Bolivia COMBINED. The escalating planetary fires should subside once everything that CAN burn HAS burned, so we've got that to look forward to!

  1. Happy Sunday Jonny, everyone.

In his latest video, Kevin scoffs at the article from the Arctic News blog about extinction in 2020. The story points out the conditions that would lead up to it, and the 1st article listed above by Jonny is one of them. He thinks collapse will have a stepping-stone approach, which does happen, but it's more likely to be slow at first (which it's BEEN for YEARS now, but steadily picking up momentum) then ALL OF A SUDDEN. He doesn't seem to get cascading failure or the confluence of feedbacks leading to catastrophic conditions.
Think of avalanches and sinkholes to get an idea of the macro-picture.

We're already seeing CONTINENT-sized fires in Australia and completely ridiculous flooding, snowfall, drought and storms.
Lightning, diseases, and natural disasters COMPOUND now and cause crop-failure, infrastructure collapse and disrupts civilization at an ever-increasing rate.

This coming year, it seems to me, will bring us to the "top of the hill," from which we'll be dropping rapidly into chaos, starvation, civil conflict, destruction and death. Then the lights go out for good, the water stops flowing (or is severely compromised and undrinkable), our pollution backs-up on humanity and no one comes to the rescue.

Glacier Surge Sparks Long-Lasting Ice Flow
    https://strangesounds.org/2019/12/glacier-surge-creates-ice-flow-video.html

This is not how ice is supposed to behave.
For the first time, scientists think they’re watching a fast-moving river of ice being born.

Glaciers can calve dramatically. The event, called a glacier surge, is like a frozen flood during which a huge amount of ice comes loose and bursts out toward the ocean in a rush. Now, new science data suggest that a glacier surge is responsible for the emergence of a long-lasting ice stream in the Russian Arctic. Until now, no one had ever seen one emerge. [more]

Small Methane Leak in Ohio Turns Out to be Largest Gas Leak in the U.S.
    https://strangesounds.org/2019/12/ohio-methane-gas-leak-largest-usa-video.html

Methane is sweeping from the ocean floor off Oregon’s coast at unprecedented rates. But the gas sometimes bursts without notice from the ground. According to a new published paper, a little-noticed 2018 methane leak at an Exxon Mobil site in Ohio was one of the worst in recent memory. It outpaced the methane emissions from the entire oil and gas industries of many countries. [more]

Every time I have posted photos like the ones above I have reached out to see if anyone out there has a credible explanation for these skies. No one ever has (perhaps because it is hard to argue with something that is true and before one's eyes).

Instead all we get is contempt and ridicule - like from Guy McPherson.

    Or something else.

Today I posted my pictures on Facebook along with a briefer version of this as explanation. Within an hour I was locked out of my account and had to reset my password (this time it actually worked) and my photos had been made to disappear.

I have no idea if this is official and have taken down my account or this is the action of one troll who managed to get hold of my password and lock me out.

Such are the times we are living in.

We live in a time when we are not allowed to ask hard questions but we are mandated to become passive consumers of disinformation.

There is no doubt that the wool is being pulled over our eyes and we are being fed a Big Lie.

I have said for the last year or so that global heating is so much worse than . anyone is letting on. CO2 is higher than it has been for thousands of years, all greenhouse gasses are through the roof.

The people that deny this reality are, I would argue, are living in cloud cuckoo land and global warming causing catastrophic climate change is as real-as-real.

Here is a video that shows how moist air systems may have been directed away from the mainland by HAARP-like technology ( for instance to Tasmania which has seen wetter-than-usual weather). [more]

  3. Native tribe recognized by US government after long fight
    https://www.yahoo.com/news/native-tribe-recognized-us-government-174506038.html

An American Indian tribe whose members were scattered after being denied a homeland more than a century ago has been formally recognized by the U.S. government.

Recognition of the Little Shell Tribe of Chippewa Indians was included in a defense spending bill signed into law Friday night by President Donald Trump. That ends a campaign for recognition as a sovereign nation that tribal leaders trace back to the 1860s. That's when Chief Little Shell and his band in North Dakota refused to sign what they considered an unfair treaty. They ended up landless, and most eventually settled in Montana, often living on other tribes' reservations or in poor areas of the state's urban centers. [more]

Miracle survivor on mission to help close gaps in tsunami warning system
    https://www.yahoo.com/news/miracle-survivor-mission-help-close-003947093.html

Arif Munandar had been pronounced dead before he woke up in a body bag four days after a monstrous wave swept his village in Indonesia's northern Aceh province 15 years ago.

When a 9.1-magnitude quake opened a faultline deep beneath the Indian Ocean, it triggered a tsunami as high as 17.4 meters (57 feet), killing more than 230,000 people in Indonesia, Sri Lanka, India, Thailand and nine other countries.

Aceh province bore the brunt of the disaster. A total of 128,858 people were killed there, according to statistics compiled by the government and aid agencies. Another 37,087 are still listed as missing.

Munandar, who spent six years living in a relief camp before he was able to complete the rebuilding of his old house with government help, lost 24 family members, including his wife and three children. He has since remarried and has two children.

Now, the 49-year-old works as a radio communication technician at Aceh's disaster mitigation agency, and considers it his personal mission to keep his village's tsunami warning system well-maintained. [more]

'Fire Ball' Causes Traffic Chaos At LAX After Empty Passenger Buses Catch Fire
    https://www.yahoo.com/news/lax-bus-fire-los-angeles-airport-090703301.html

Two unoccupied passenger buses caught fire at Los Angeles International Airport on Saturday night, briefly exacerbating already-snarled traffic conditions as hordes of holiday travelers bustled in and out of the busy airport.

At around 9 p.m., LAX officials said the Los Angeles Fire Department was responding to a “significant fire emergency” near the new LAX-it rideshare pickup lot. Fire officials said they arrived at the scene to find two liquid propane-powered buses fully engulfed in flames. A third bus also sustained damage from the fire, officials said.

Though the fire’s cause remains under investigation, there is NO reason to consider it suspicious at this time,” the department continued. [more; no questions allowed]

Two invasive silver carp have been caught in southwestern Minnesota after essentially sneaking into the state through the back door, marking the first confirmed discovery of the jumping fish in that area.

They were netted only about 120 yards north of the Iowa border on the Ocheyedan River in Nobles County, Nick Frohnauer, invasive fish coordinator for the Minnesota Department of Resources, said Friday. The find is interesting but no reason for panic, he said. [more]

Why airplane takeoffs and landings are so dangerous
    https://www.yahoo.com/news/why-airplane-takeoffs-landings-dangerous-221500150.html

According to Boeing, 49% of all fatal plane accidents happen during the final descent and landing phases of the average flight, while 14% happen during takeoff and the initial climb. One of the reasons for this is altitude — the closer the plane is to the ground, the less time a pilot has to react to problems. Here's why making a plane stop is actually riskier than making it fly. The death toll from a storm that battered Spain, Portugal and France rose to eight on Saturday as the region braced for more violent winds and heavy rain.

A 32-year-old South Korean woman died Saturday, a day after being struck on the head by falling debris from a building in central Madrid, the Madrid region's interior minister said.

The building had passed an inspection in 2015 "but weather like this, with heavy rain and wind, causes these fateful cases", Enrique Lopez told reporters. [so does H2S]

Missing Footage from Epstein’s Jail Cell Resurfaces after Prosecutors Claimed It ‘No Longer Exists’
    https://www.yahoo.com/news/missing-footage-epstein-jail-cell-184853245.html

A day after claiming that surveillance footage from Jeffery Epstein’s July 23 suicide attempt was missing, prosecutors confirmed that the video had actually been preserved by the Metropolitan Correctional Center staff.

“Earlier today, the government confirmed with MCC staff that the video was preserved by MCC staff upon defense counsel’s request,” federal prosecutor Jason Swergold wrote in a letter to Judge Kenneth Karas.

Karas is presiding over the case of accused quadruple murderer and former cop Nick Tartaglione, who shared Epstein’s cell at the time of the attempt. Epstein was found nearly unconscious with neck injuries in what was ruled a suicide attempt at the time, but news broke in August that Epstein had accused Tartaglione of inflicting the injuries.

“We are very pleased the video was preserved, as we had asked,” Bruce Barket, Tartaglione’s attorney said on early Friday morning. “We look forward to viewing it.” [more]
