Event Update For 2019-09-26

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

More than two million wild animals, including jaguars, pumas and llamas dead after wildfires in Bolivia which started in "MAY" and are still not extinguished.

2019 has brought to the attention of many people just how dangerous wildfires are now impacting our vulnerable planet. This year alone, uncontrollable fires have caused havoc in Syberia, the Arctic Circle, Alaska, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Southern Africa, Australia and Indonesia and the problem is becoming more intense as large areas of forestry and grassland around the world are suffering drought and water-stress.

The true devastation to wildlife has become evident after the weeks of wildfires destroyed a huge area of Bolivian forest and grassland.

More than two million wild animals, including jaguars, pumas and llamas, have perished in weeks of wildfires that devastated huge swaths of Bolivian forest and grassland, environmental experts said Wednesday. The fires devastated the Chiquitania tropical savanna in the east of the country. "We have consulted the biologists of Chiquitania and we have exceeded the estimate of more than 2.3 million missing animals in many protected areas," Professor Sandra Quiroga of Santa Cruz University told AFP.

Latin American ocelots, and other wild cats like pumas and jaguars, as well as deer, llamas -- and smaller forest animals like anteaters, badgers, lizards, tapirs and rodents --, were victims of the fires, according to biologists investigating the scale of the damage. "The forest is totally charred and the damage is irreversible. It will never get back to normal," said Sandra Quiroga of Santa Cruz University Local media showed images of charred animal carcasses in the smouldering forests and birds fleeing to zones spared by the flames.

The fires, which have devastated more than four million hectares (10 million acres) since August, has completely destroyed the "primary forest" extending over 100 hectares in the Tucavaca reserve in the eastern Santa Cruz department.
"The forest is totally charred and the damage is irreversible. It will never get back to normal," said Quiroga. The eastern department of Santa Cruz has been the hardest hit of Bolivia's nine departments since the fires began in May and intensified in late August. [more]

Coronal activity and geomagnetic storms have coincided with the death of 100 beached dolphins another major quake (5 in 4 days) and 2 major volcanic eruptions this week

The beached dolphins come once again during coronal hole activity on our Sun. Regular Big Wobble readers will be aware solar storms may trigger whale strandings as well as dolphins, birds and bees and other animals who rely on our magnetic field to navigate. According to, G1-class geomagnetic storms are in progress as a fast-moving stream of solar wind buffets Earth's magnetic field. The gaseous material is flowing from a large hole in the sun's atmosphere. The storm could intensify to category G2 if, as expected, the pace of the solar wind quickens on Sept. 28th. [more]

Two people injured in Colorado elk attack captured on video

Two people were injured when a male elk attacked a woman in Estes Park, Colorado, a state parks official said.

Video showed a woman thrown to the ground and poked with the bull elk's antlers, said Jason Clay, a spokesman for Colorado Parks and Wildlife. The Thursday morning attack took place near the town's visitors center.

"She miraculously came out unharmed," Clay said. "She had some scrapes. She was not transported and did not require medical attention."

A man who is seen on video jumping out of the way slipped and hit his head on a rock but did not make contact with the wild animal, Clay said. The unidentified man was hospitalized in unknown condition.

The confrontation happened two days before the town's annual Elk Fest, scheduled for Saturday and Sunday. [more]

How the Farm Bureau’s Climate Agenda Is Failing Its Farmers

hat agenda has left farmers ill-prepared to cope with effects of climate change—droughts, heat and storms—while neglecting a key climate solution.

With an all-out campaign to restore soil health, studies have found, U.S. land could absorb half of American agriculture's carbon footprint. Modest annual improvements to arable soils, if adopted worldwide, could halt the increase in carbon dioxide in the atmosphere from all human activities. [more]
