Event Update For 2018-09-15

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

Note: Another self-reinforcing feedback. Add it to the pile! This is likely to be a bad one since we're talking about bacterial growth rates. Give bacteria the right conditions and their populations explode. Examples of that include the spreading red tide around Florida and in the Gulf of Mexico and the rising number of cyanobacteria (blue-green algae) blooms hitting lakes around the world. Those are all bacterial colonies running amok and experiencing population explosions because environmental conditions are becoming more favorable to them as the climate changes. There have been more instances of flesh-eating bacteria in recent years too...

2018-09-15 - Will we soon see Category 6 hurricanes?

Quote: "Meteorologists and scientists never imagined that there would be a need for a category 6 storm, with winds that exceed 200 miles per hour on a sustained basis, sweeping away everything in its path. Until now, such a storm wasn’t possible, so there was no need for a new category above category 5. Right now, however, there is anywhere from 5 to 8% more water vapor circulating throughout the atmosphere than there was a generation ago. This, combined with warmer temperatures that are driving water up from the deep ocean in places where hurricanes typically form, has created the potential for superstorms that we haven’t seen before – and aren’t really prepared for."

  1. Good morning Jonny, fellow readers.

After a NICE weekend (for a REAL CHANGE, especially Sunday), we're back to humid again here in southeast PA. Now Florence's remnants aren't due until maybe Wednesday. My cousin, who's house I've been in - between two rivers on the coast of NC - texted (from Tampa) that his place only had fence damage and a tree problem or two. It's still raining there and flooding is becoming a concern in places.

Wilmington, NC cut off by extreme flooding from Florence as more rain pours down

The local water utility has warned it may have to shut down, potentially leaving homes without drinkable water.

Record rainfall, catastrophic flash and river flooding, at least 18 deaths and more than 1 million without power as Hurricane "Florence" hits U.S.

Hurricane "Florence" made landfall along the coast of North Carolina, near Wrightsville Beach, at 11:15 UTC on September 14, 2018, with maximum sustained winds of 150 km/h (90 mph) and central pressure of 958 hPa, placing the storm on the upper edge of Category 1 hurricane on the Saffir-Simpson scale. Florence produced record-breaking rainfall, left more than 1 million customers without power and claimed lives of at least 18 people. This event is still not over and in some parts of North Carolina, the worst is yet to come. [more]

  2. Magnetic portals: Equinox cracks are opening in Earth’s magnetic field

The northern autumnal equinox is less than a week away. That means one thing: Cracks are opening in Earth’s magnetic field. Researchers have long known that during weeks around equinoxes fissures form in Earth’s magnetosphere. Solar wind pours through the gaps to fuel bright displays of Northern Lights.

[The] Equinox cracks phenomenon is called the “Russell-McPherron effect.”. The cracks are opened by the solar wind itself. South-pointing magnetic fields inside the solar wind oppose Earth’s north-pointing magnetic field. North and South partially cancel one another, opening a crack. This cancellation can happen at any time of year, but it happens with greatest effect around the equinoxes. [more]
