Event Update For 2017-03-03

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

2017-03-03 - People zombifying in Brazil, especially around coastal Rio de Janeiro:

Quote: "A terrifying series of events has begun to take place in Brazil; people are arriving at hospitals in 'Zombie-like' condition, not even slowing down even when they've been SHOT! The video below is from a hospital in Brazil. The language being spoken is Portuguese. The man is suffering from, among other things, a gunshot to the face. Doctors confirm they have NOT been able to identify any drug in the systems of these people, but their White Blood Cell Counts are said to be 'astronomical' indicating their bodies are fighting an infection."

Note: Very similar to the two face-eater incidents on the coast in Florida. They didn't find any drugs in either of the face-eaters either, but they didn't mention anything about the white blood cell counts in either of the two face-eater incidents. That could be because cops shot the first one dead when he wouldn't stop munching on his victim's face (and it took six bullets to kill him too), and the second face-eater is still alive and has some medical privacy rights. Hydrogen sulfide is a powerful signaling molecule in the human body though, so besides neurological impairment and superhuman strength and such, it seems quite plausible that it could affect other things too, like white blood cell counts.

Quote: "In the meantime, reports are coming in that more and more people, especially around rio de Janeiro, are presenting with similar symptoms."

Note: In other words, this is especially affecting people along the coast...

Trump to Undo Vehicle Rules That Curb Global Warming

Low sea ice extent contributes to high methane levels at both poles

The danger is that self-reinforcing feedback loops such as albedo decline and methane releases will further accelerate warming and will, in combination with further warming elements, cause a temperature rise as high as 10°C or 18°F by the year 2026, as described at the extinction page. [more]

  3. What have we learned? Temperature has already shown a pattern of continual INCREASE, no matter where you start, from 1850 on, but the rate of change of increase (acceleration)
has since ALSO increased since the 2000's, so that now we're looking at ABRUPT climate change going forward.

Other species, including pollinators, mammals, fish and birds cannot adapt fast enough to handle these temperature changes.
Starting with the phytoplankton in the ocean, we're already seeing drastic declines in population which will ripple up the food chain and will be exacerbated by the worsening climate chaos, which will negatively effect animals AND PLANTS.

Spiraling toward extinction: 347 different bee species at risk

Having taken a backseat to any number of controversies surrounding the nascent Trump administration, pollinators should be back in the headlines — again painting a tragic portent for the future of the planet's food supply — as an analysis found 347 bee species native to North America and Hawai'i "are spiraling toward extinction."

In total, 700 bee species have been pushed to precarious footing by a web of threats, including increased pesticide use and severe habitat loss.

Pollinator decline, in other words, isn't unique to one region or continent — this is a global issue with potentially devastating implications. While some nations have implemented protections for the precious insects — from pesticide restrictions or bans to pollinator and wildlife corridors — the United States continues backing corporate agriculture and the chemicals that industry relies on to function. Almost 10 tons of dead fish have suddenly surfaced in a 2 hour period on the afternoon of February 19th in Zhejiang PuTuo China

Apparently two fishing boats were in operation when suddenly thousands of glistening yellow croaker floated to the surface.

Swarms of them surfaced in the next 2 hours with the fishermen caught nearly 10 tons in total. According to the evening news reports in Zhoushan, Captain Zhang of one of the fishing boats claimed the boats where surrounded by a radius of nearly 100 meters of dead fish.

The other fishing boat captain of Xia Guoping said, it felt incredible, he said he had been sea fishing for more than 30 years, and had never encountered such a thing.

The fish are thought to have died from a toxic substance.

[If you eat fish that have died by H2S, do you get a dose?]

  4. Good question. It's probably similar to human bodies though, and the H2S will degrade pretty fast inside the bodies of fish, like within 8 or 12 hours. If you wait too long though, then the fish will start rotting and the microbes will be turning the fish into MORE H2S. So you've probably got a window where it's safe to eat them - after 12 hours, but before they start rotting. Personally, I wouldn't risk it unless I were starving to death. Heh.
