Event Update For 2016-07-13

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

I guess we'll have to wait the standard 'several weeks' for toxicology results for all of these people, assuming they do such tests (very unlikely), and even then we'd have to believe what we're told by the very people who are hiding the truth, which obviously wouldn't be too wise...

Tropical storm sweeps across China's Fujian province killing nearly 70 people

The report also added that more than half a million had been forced to evacuate, adding that around 8,300 homes were also destroyed in the worst-hit province.

Authorities have estimated that the direct economic loss caused by the storm at 1.5 billion dollars.

3 waterspouts filmed near Pensacola Beach, Florida

Huge waterspout filmed over Lake Pontchartrain, Louisiana

    Waterspout filmed off Biloxi, Mississippi

[those water "spouts" are actually SUCKING UP water into the atmosphere - to come down as flooding rain somewhere]

  2. One of those 'freak storms' just hit here too, couple of days ago. I think Dutch got some footage of it. The forecast was for no rain, the sun was out, so my significant other thought it'd be a good day to go to the grocery store, so she left. About 30 mins later, 70 MPH howling straight-line winds, thunderstorm out of nowhere, lightning crackling. I told her to wait it out at the store, wait for it to let up a little, then make a break for it (so my ice cream wouldn't melt, heh), and she got home okay.

Then yesterday, again, no rain forecast, and again, suddenly a storm out of nowhere in the morning, but not quite as fierce as that first one.

So 'weather forecasts', as unreliable as they ever were, now look REALLY unreliable.

Another Global Warming Enhanced Heatwave is on the Way — 111 Degree (F) Temperatures Predicted For Central US

An extremely tall dome of hot and heavy air is expected to build up over Colorado, Oklahoma and Nebraska. Heat beneath the dome and near the surface is expected to intensify. By the middle of next week, temperatures over a continuous large swath from Northern Texas to Montana and the Dakotas is predicted to experience near or above 100 degree F (38 C) temperatures. By late week, some of these readings could peak at around 111 degrees Fahrenheit (44 C) for parts of Central Nebraska.

By Sunday, the heat is expected to sprawl both east and west. And high temperatures near or above the Century mark could ultimately stretch in a great triangle from Alabama west to the Central Valley of California and north to Montana’s Canadian Border. [more]

Obama set to sign GMO Labeling Bill the House just passed

A controversial bill that will prevent states from creating their own labeling standards for genetically engineered foods has passed the House of Representatives and now heads to President Obama's desk.

"It was at the behest of big industry that the QR code be listed as an option," Rep. Jim McGovern (D-Mass.) said. "Not what's in the interest of the American consumer, but what a few special interests want." McGovern also called for "a clear and easy-to-understand label or symbol, not some crazy QR code that only creates more hassle and confusion."

"Food ingredients like beet sugar and soybean oil, which can be derived from genetically-engineered crops but contain next to no genetic material by the time they are processed, may not fall under the law's definition of a bioengineered food, critics say," Reuters reported about the Senate version.

Other critics of the bill say that GMO corn may also be excluded from labeling. This means that beet sugar, soy, and corn (the crops which are among the most genetically modified in the world) might not be covered under the current language of the bill.

The bill will also prevent states and localities from passing their own labeling measures.

Firefly populations are blinking out globally – ‘Everyone is reporting declines’

“When people see a habitat that’s got three, four, five different species of firefly flashing, each with a different flash pattern, it’s an amazing thing. It changes their lives, but few people get to see that anymore.”
