Event Update For 2013-07-19

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

2013-07-19 - Underground electrical explosion and fire hits Framingham (Massachusetts):
http://www.metrowestdailynews.com/news/x853691533/Some-in-Framingham-still-without-power

Quote: "Witnesses told firefighters that flames were coming out of the manhole following the explosion. The explosion knocked out power at several businesses across from the Memorial Building."

Note: Officials say heat may have caused this event. Could be, but I wouldn't be so sure about that, seeing as underground explosions and fires were happening in the winter too, and have been escalating all this past year. Hydrogen sulfide is a heavier-than-air gas which will tend to seek out low-lying areas, like underground facilities, basements, ravine, ditches, valleys, canyons, lakes, ponds, etc. It's also reactive with rusty iron/steel (pipes in underground infrastructure) and copper, especially electrified copper, like that found in underground electrical cabling and wiring in vehicles (which likely explains a great many of the non-running vehicles now burning up)...

http://www.trentonian.com/article/20130720/NEWS03/130729985/electrical-fire-displaces-30-building-residents

Note: Hydrogen sulfide is a heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas like basements. It's also reactive with copper, especially electrified copper. This looks like the apartment building version of all the underground electrical explosions and fires hitting towns and cities all over...

http://www.wbir.com/rss/article/281134/2/22-people-treated-at-hospital-after-nursing-home-fire

Note: The fire started in an empty room, in the AC unit. What do AC units do? They move the atmosphere around. What happens if there's flammable gas(es) in the atmosphere? You might just get a fire. All ventilation systems are now at risk. I first realized this danger when a 'flash fire' in a duct seriously injured 3 workers at the State Department in coastal Washington DC, as mentioned in the 2012-11-24 update. So I took a look to see if there were other such ventilation-related fires, and I found many, often on the roofs of businesses, but also at homes, in RVs, etc. Kinda sucks. Turn off your AC forever? Then the heat alone might kill you. Don't turn your AC units off? Then fire might get you. Quite a conundrum. What am I doing? Hah, AC is running full blast right now. Just pointing out the problem; didn't say I have any solution. Wish I did...

2013-07-19 - In separate incidents, business and residence burn, at 3:01 AM and 3:29 AM, in coastal Olga on Orcas Island (Washington):
http://www.islandssounder.com/news/216171151.html

Note: About 3 miles apart. Multiple fires erupting in the same general area and in the same timeframe is a possible sign of a gas plume blowing through the area, igniting stuff here and there as it goes. The fact that these fires occurred during the wee hours and this town being right on the coast (and on an island) just makes that even more probable...

2013-07-19 - Two homes damaged by fire near Millbrook Elementary School in coastal San Jose (California), 12 people homeless:

Note: By 'unoccupied' I mean the building is inhabited or in use, but no one was there at the time for whatever reason. When the building is completely unused, I use the term 'vacant'. I try to be consistent with that, though the stories I link to often use the terms interchangeably...

2013-07-19 - Two vacant homes burn two blocks apart, at 4 AM and 5:30 AM, in Kansas City (Missouri):
http://www.kctv5.com/story/22873941/blazes-strike-2-vacant-houses-block-apart-in-east-kc

Note: Kansas City sits at the confluence of the Kansas River and the Missouri River. The wee hours are when the atmosphere cools and contracts, which will push any hydrogen sulfide or methane in the air above closer to the ground...

Note: They try pretty hard in this story to sell the possibility that a love interest may have killed her, but...the door was locked from her side. Unless the guy was a magician or could walk through doors, doesn't seem too likely. Also, the nudity fits with the neuro-zombie incidents, which are probably caused by neurological damage resulting from breathing neurotoxic hydrogen sulfide...

Quote: "One teen told police the car felt funny before going around a curve prior to the crash."

Note: Power steering lines burned through? Hydrogen sulfide is being absorbed into tire rubber and brake pads. Then when brakes are applied, an unusual amount of heat is generated, since hydrogen sulfide burns very hot. Then bad things can happen: tires ignite or explode, brakes burn out or ignite, fluid lines rupture, the entire vehicle goes up in flames, or all of the above. This problem affects massive vehicles the most but no vehicle is immune. Their car may have been on fire even before they hit that tree and they just didn't realize...

Quote: "...residents complained about a plugged probe site leaking gas in front of homes on Sauce Piquante Lane. Boudreaux said he tested the hole and found leaking gas at a concentration that was approaching an explosive level."

Note: Near-explosive levels of gas (presumably methane) leaking out near homes? Might be time to GTFO if anyone's still there. It's probably less painful - and more survivable - to leave in a car than to be launched out of the area by an explosion. Second link is constantly updated for anyone living in - or concerned about - this area...
