The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

Note: I believe that it is highly likely that this has already begun. There is much circumstantial evidence that this is the case.

There was an event in 2010-ish where a bunch of students went on an INDOOR field trip to another school in the WINTER in Louisiana. They were only exposed to the sun for short periods of time as they moved to and from their bus, with a side trip to McDonald's on the way back. They turned purple with severe sunburn and their parents were very concerned. That was the first event that made me think there was something seriously wrong going on with the Sun and UV levels. The next incident involved several hundred acres of wheat suddenly withering away and dying at a farm in Oregon. And I mean suddenly - the crops were fine one day and withered and dead the next day. The only plants that survived were those located along a stone wall. At first I thought maybe hydrogen sulfide had blown through and killed all the plants not protected by the wall, but then I realized that the wall would have shielded those plants from a brief burst of intense UV from the sun too.

Some other events involved me personally. I went on a 3-week freak-out trip to California in early 2011 when I realized the world was coming to an end. During that journey I went on a short hike to a plateau in New Mexico. I wore a hat, long sleeves and sunglasses and I wasn't out in the sun very long. When I got back to my rental van, every part of my body that had been exposed to the sun was significantly sunburned. I'd never gotten that burned that fast before. Also on that trip I encountered a national parks worker who was seriously purple with sunburn, a veritable walking poster boy for skin cancer. On the top of Pikes Peak in Colorado I encountered an Air Force pilot and we had a conversation in passing where I mentioned how incredibly fast the snow was melting and he said, 'Yeah, that UV is really baking it away.' That made me wonder just how much he knew. I wanted to pump him for information, but I was also maintaining a low profile and trying not to attract attention, so I let it go and went on my way.

People around the world have been recording high levels of UV-B and UV-C hitting their areas, which is what you would expect if we are being exposed to increasing amounts of UV radiation. Not all areas all the time, but alarmingly high UV levels in some areas some of the time. Plenty enough to see that there's a problem. Last year dozens of people got seriously sunburned in India. They blamed that on a heatwave. But heatwaves don't cause sunburns - UV does. During the BP oil spill, dolphins and whales were washing ashore dead with lesions from terrible sunburns.

A couple of months ago, in March, a huge hole opened in the ozone layer in the Arctic, three times bigger than Greenland, bigger than any ever seen before. They blamed that on weather patterns causing naturally-occuring ozone-depleting chemicals to accumulate and wipe out the ozone layer over the area. Okay, that sounds possible, but isn't that what a planetary ozone collapse event would look like before it's gotten bad enough to wipe out most life? Isn't that what those articles linked above suggest is what happened 360 million years ago - naturally-occurring ozone-reactive chemicals wiping out the ozone layer? And what naturally-occurring chemicals do they mean anyway? Hydrogen sulfide and methane?

Does the Sun look the same to you as it did, say, 30 years ago? It doesn't look the same to me, not at all. It looks much more blindingly glaringly WHITE to me than it did in the past. When I was a kid, you could look at the sun for a moment or two, and it was more yellowish. Now it looks more white and more intense. More white means more 'blue' light - that's UV radiation, what you would expect to see if Earth's protective ozone layer is thinning.

There's no reason to expect that a planetary ozone collapse would occur all at once everywhere on the planet. More likely it would start small and slow. The color of the sun would change over time from yellow to white. There'd be weak spots in the protection, holes in the atmosphere sprouting up here and there with no ozone, and if the sun were to shine through one of those holes and hit, say, some kids on a field trip in Louisiana or some cropland in Oregon or some dolphins in the Gulf of Mexico, then it might fry those kids or those crops or those dolphins. Over time though, those holes would tend to get bigger, maybe a lot bigger, maybe three times the size of Greenland. And then, eventually, the problem would become so noticeable and so devastating that most life on this planet would die.

Both methane and hydrogen sulfide react away ozone. Both are generated during warming events on this planet. Methane levels have been rising for years and are at the highest concentrations in the northern hemisphere, particularly in the far north, where that giant ozone hole opened in the Arctic. Hydrogen sulfide levels in the atmosphere aren't practical to measure (if even possible) because it tends to accumulate on the ground and accumulate in clumps in low-lying areas, but MANY coastal areas, schools and even PLANES have been hit by unknown and unexplained rotten egg odors in recent years. These things all fit together. From the full hypothesis: "Though it is a heavier-than-air gas, hydrogen sulfide is nevertheless being blown up into the upper atmosphere sometimes, where it is reacting away both the ozone layer and hydroxyl radicals. The loss of the ozone layer will probably eventually result in lethal levels of UV radiation baking the surface of the planet. The rising UV levels are already damaging DNA and RNA and causing increases in the frequency of genetic defects such as albinism and polycephaly (two-headedness) and genetic chimeras."

Planetary ozone collapse, atmospheric and environmental poisoning by hydrogen sulfide and methane-induced firestorms sweeping the surface of the Earth would all explain the large investments governments have made in recent times in terms of expanding their underground facilities.

Don't expect 'the authorities' to tell you or anyone how dire things are, how close to the end humanity actually is. It wouldn't benefit them to do so. Nevertheless, the sand in our hourglass continues to dribble away.
