Event Update For 2020-02-10

http://jumpingjackflashhypothesis.blogspot.com/2012/02/jumping-jack-flash-hypothesis-its-gas.html

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

2020-02-10 - Coronavirus death toll surpasses 1000 according to the 'official' figures:
http://hisz.rsoe.hu/alertmap/database/index.php?pageid=event_update&edis_id=EP-20200117-70504-CHN
http://www.cnn.com/asia/live-news/coronavirus-outbreak-02-10-20-intl-hnk/index.html

Quote: "The death toll in China climbed above 1,000, as the World Health Organization (WHO) cautioned that the spread of cases outside of China could be 'the spark that becomes a bigger fire' and said the human race must not let the epidemic get out of control.A total of 108 new coronavirus deaths were reported on the mainland on Monday, up from 97 on the previous day, the country's health authority said on Tuesday. The total number of deaths on the mainland has now reached 1,016, the National Health Commission said."

2020-02-10 - Coronavirus cases spreading outside China ‘could be the spark’ that becomes 'bigger fire,' WHO says:

Quote: "World Health Organization officials are concerned about new coronavirus cases confirmed in France and the U.K. that were transmitted without any travel history to China."

2020-02-10 - Coronavirus cases nearly double on cruise ship quarantined off Yokohama (Japan):
http://www.boston.com/news/health/2020/02/10/coronavirus-cruise-ship-diamond-princess
http://time.com/5781727/diamond-princess-coronavirus-cruise-ship-quarantine/

Quote: "The number of people with coronavirus on a cruise ship in the port of Yokohama nearly doubled to 135 Monday, prompting imperiled crew members to plead for help and setting off debate among experts over whether the more than 3,700 people quarantined aboard should be taken ashore or left on the ship."

Quote: "Passengers aboard the ship are confined to their rooms, most of which range from 168 to 354 square feet. They are let out for short periods to get some fresh air on the decks, where they try to keep their distance from one another."

2020-02-10 - Interview with director of crematorium in Wuhan (China):
http://robinwestenra.blogspot.com/2020/02/wuhan-funeral-home-staff-member-reveals.html
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-KFxCqV1fPQ

Note: To summarize, this crematorium is handling 4-5 times the normal workload, they've had to modify cars and vans to transport more corpses, they're burning 100+ corpses per day at this ONE crematorium (and there are at least 14 in this city alone), they're working 24 hours per day burning bodies, and 60% of the bodies are coming from homes, not hospitals. So the 'official' numbers are clearly lowballed BS...

    https://www.yahoo.com/finance/news/permian-gas-flaring-much-worse-120000965.html

The burning and releasing of vast amounts of natural gas into the atmosphere in America’s top shale basin is much bigger than previously thought when processing plants are included, Rystad Energy found.

Research on the controversial practices of flaring and venting -- described by shale pioneer Scott Sheffield as a “black eye” for the Permian Basin -- has typically focused on emissions by oil producers at the wellhead.

But gas-processing facilities in the region are receiving more gas than they can handle, so they burned off or released about 190 million cubic feet per day of the fuel last year, raising the total by 30% to roughly 810 million, data from Oslo-based Rystad shows. That’s almost enough gas to supply 5 million U.S. homes. [more; just pissing it away . .]

    https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/mom-wakes-coma-2-months-055218295.html

An Australian woman who survived a volcano eruption in New Zealand has woken from a coma to the tragic news that her loved ones died in the blast.

The mother of one — who was vacationing with her family when a volcano on White Island erupted on Dec. 9 — had suffered burns to 60 percent of her body, according to The Australian.

“It took her a while for it to sink in and then she just kept saying she can’t believe they have died,” a representative for the family told the Adelaide Advertiser.

“She remembers it exploding and then telling everyone to run,” the spokesperson said. “She then recalled how rocks were falling everywhere and hitting her on the back. She remembers thinking ‘when are they going to come and rescue us?’ The next thing she knows is she is in hospital and wondering where she was.”

“We’ve got to be careful with anything we say to her because she’s very traumatized by what happened and it’s quite emotional,” Lisa’s father-in-law Brian Dallow told the outlet, adding that the mom is “not entirely out of the woods.” [more]

Attention Attenborough (and Trump), Greta Thunberg gets a BBC series
    https://www.marketwatch.com/story/attention-attenborough-and-trump-greta-thunberg-gets-a-bbc-series-2020-02-10

BBC Studios will produce a documentary series about the “international crusade” of teenage climate activist Greta Thunberg. The series will include a look at the “journey into adulthood” for the high-profile school-skipper who has sailed the world and talked openly about her autism, the studio confirmed in a Monday release. Thunberg has a growing following and books major events, including addressing the financial heavyweights at Davos. Such promotion brings out a fair share of detractors, including U.S. President Donald Trump, who has urged “anger management” for the teen, suggesting she should “chill.” Legendary English documentarian and naturalist David Attenborough has met with the young activist via Skype and commended her for “waking up the world.” [more]

    https://www.sott.net/article/429064-WikiLeaks-US-counter-intel-agency-adds-public-disclosure-groups-to-same-threat-list-as-al-Qaeda-ISIS-Iran

The US National Counterintelligence and Security Center has warned in its latest report "public disclosure organizations" and hackers are dire spy threats on the level of Islamic State terrorists, Al-Qaeda, and Iran.

"Ideologically motivated entities such as hacktivists, leaktivists, and public disclosure organizations" pose "significant threats" to the US at the same level as non-state terrorist organizations like Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) and Al-Qaeda, according to the Office of the Director of National Intelligence's biannual National Counterintelligence Strategy report, released on Monday.

The report carefully avoids mentioning WikiLeaks by name, but pointed references to the "unauthorized disclosures of US cyber tools" — i.e. the Vault 7 leaks that revealed the CIA is able to disguise its own cyber-intrusions as "foreign hacks" — suggest the platform launched by hacker-turned-publisher Julian Assange (now incarcerated in the UK) has gotten deep under the intelligence community's skin. https://www.sott.net/article/429046-Murderer-Protests-and-fights-erupt-as-Guaido-arrives-at-Venezuelan-airport-gets-booed-and-doused-with-water

Chaos broke out at an airport in Venezuela's capital Caracas, when Juan Guaido, who was declared interim president by the opposition, returned from an overseas trip.

On Tuesday, Guaido arrived at Simon Bolivar International Airport in Caracas after completing a support-seeking tour abroad, during which he attended US President Donald Trump's annual State of the Union Address in Washington.

The tensions first erupted when the politician was passing immigration control. As he was talking to an immigration officer, Guaido was suddenly confronted by an angry woman who accused him of "selling out the country." She was wearing a bright red T-shirt, often sported by the supporters of Guaido's chief opponent, President Nicolas Maduro.

A heated argument ensued, during which the woman doused the opposition leader with water.

Meanwhile, around 200 protesters gathered outside the airport, chanting "Murderer." This led to scuffles between the two groups when Guaido was leaving the airport flanked by his supporters. He managed to get into a car safely and drive away, while pro-government activists were punching and kicking the vehicle, as well as throwing traffic cones at it. [more]

Cure for All Viruses? Scientists discover holy grail which could lead to Universal Vaccine
    https://www.sott.net/article/429040-Cure-for-All-Viruses-Scientists-discover-holy-grail-which-could-lead-to-Universal-Vaccine

Researchers at the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) in the US have uncovered the 'Achilles' heel' of most viruses which plague mankind, and could soon develop a universal vaccine. Vaccine research, development and testing takes a long time, as the ongoing coronavirus outbreak has shown, but that is because researchers devote their time, attention and resources to targeting specific viruses one-by-one. But now scientists at MGH have located what may prove to be a game-changing breakthrough for humanity, which could strengthen our bodies and make them impervious to most viruses.

"The goal is to understand how our immune system works in order to create treatments that work against a range of viruses, not just vaccines against a particular one," said Kate Jeffrey, head of the study, in a hospital press release. The so-called 'Achilles heel' (or vulnerable point) of most viruses is actually just a simple protein named AGO4, which has been shown to have unique antiviral effects in mammalian cells. [more]

[we'll see how well this works when it gets there]

The Indian government's Ministry of AYUSH, which promotes alternative medicine systems in the country, released a health advisory on January 29 that advocates the use of homeopathy and traditional remedies, such as Indian systems of medicine, to ward off infections of the newly circulating 2019-nCoV coronavirus. This includes the use of a homeopathic preparation called Arsenicum album 30C and two drops of sesame oil in each nostril each morning for prevention, and Unani medicines (treatments based on the teachings of Hippocrates and Galen) to mitigate symptoms of coronavirus infection. While AYUSH cites centuries of practitioners' experiences with these products as evidence behind its advice, the media and the scientific community criticized the guidance as being counterproductive in dealing with a serious health emergency.
