Event Update For 2020-02-03

http://jumpingjackflashhypothesis.blogspot.com/2012/02/jumping-jack-flash-hypothesis-its-gas.html

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

http://www.democraticunderground.org/1127135845

Quote: "There are dozens of climate models, and for decades they’ve agreed on what it would take to heat the planet by about 3° Celsius. It’s an outcome that would be disastrous—flooded cities, agricultural failures, deadly heat—but there’s been a grim steadiness in the consensus among these complicated climate simulations. Then last year, unnoticed in plain view, some of the models started running very hot. The scientists who hone these systems used the same assumptions about greenhouse-gas emissions as before and came back with far worse outcomes. Some produced projections in excess of 5°C, a nightmare scenario."

  1. Good morning Jonny and everyone reading JJFH today.

There's no question about this year being a bad one, we're wondering HOW BAD will it get?

[we're talking PLANETARY CLUSTERFUCK at this point]

The coronavirus is still spreading and killing people; huge flocks of birds are being culled in China, and their pig population is still being affected by swine flu [which is also spreading - see below]. The fact that their economy is taking a big hit practically guarantees that the rest of the world will feel some of the pain as parts become hard to get, shipping slows, and travel bans go into effect.

Southern California could see elevated wildfire danger in April & May
    https://wildfiretoday.com/2020/02/04/southern-california-could-see-elevated-wildfire-danger-in-april-may/

The Predictive Services section at the National Interagency Fire Center has issued their Wildland Fire Potential Outlook for February through May. The data represents the cumulative forecasts of the ten Geographic Area Predictive Services Units and the National Predictive Services Unit.

If NIFC’s analysis is correct the only area with above average potential for wildfires during February and March will be Hawaii. However the southern coastal area of California is expected to see above average wildfire potential in April and May. [more]

  3. [i screwed up again; the following should be included in a previous article above]

Millions more people have been ordered to stay indoors as China battles to curb the spread of a new virus that authorities said Wednesday has already killed nearly 500 people.

With more than 24,000 cases in China, a growing number of cities have been imposing a range of restrictions in recent days far from central Hubei province, the epicentre of the outbreak, as authorities struggle to contain the virus.

Global concerns have risen as cases continue to spread abroad, with 10 people testing positive for the virus on a ship quarantined off the coast of Japan.

Italy announced that passengers from every international flight would be scanned for fevers. [inadequate test!]

Vietnam, which has detected 10 cases, joined a growing list of countries banning arrivals from China, and it was setting up field hospitals with thousands of beds to handle a potential spike in coronavirus patients in the country.

And Hong Kong, which reported its first coronavirus death this week, said anyone arriving from the mainland will face a mandatory two-week quarantine from Saturday. [more; not enough time in quarantine!

  7. TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — As many experts question the veracity of China's statistics for the Wuhan coronavirus outbreak, Tencent over the weekend seems to have inadvertently released what is potentially the actual number of infections and deaths, which were astronomically higher than official figures.

On late Saturday evening (Feb. 1), Tencent, on its webpage titled "Epidemic Situation Tracker", showed confirmed cases of novel coronavirus (2019nCoV) in China as standing at 154,023, 10 times the official figure at the time. It listed the number of suspected cases as 79,808, four times the official figure.

The number of cured cases was only 269, well below the official number that day of 300. Most ominously, the death toll listed was 24,589, vastly higher than the 300 officially listed that day.

  8. Yeah, they're really working hard to downplay the stats. That means the stats are REALLY bad. I lean toward believing those higher numbers. Stats like those would merit massive government intervention, closing of cities, takeover of data, deploying of harassment drones, all the things we are seeing. Stats like those higher numbers are MUCH worse than SARS and significantly worse than even the 1918 Spanish flu.

    1. Yep. And this is a weaponized virus so it is designed to kill very efficiently. I still think Asians generally and Chinese specifically are in the most danger now, but this virus could mutate and adapt to killing all the races equally. It may become "woke" in other words.

  9. You have to consider the possibility that it IS targeted at Asians, maybe specifically Chinese AND that it was released by the Chinese government AND that it was released purposely. Why would they do that? Well, we are heading toward the starvation phase of planetary extinction. Starving people are very hard to control, even for an authoritarian government like China's. 1.4 billion starving people - that's a recipe for unimaginable horror, horror that would make the results of a doomsday virus look wonderful in comparison. Subtract a few hundred million people from that 1.4 billion people and the entire human race generally would last longer, and the Chinese government in particular would last longer too.

  10. i hear that. Problem is, as Mike notes, it ain't gonna be easy to stop and it's still mutating as Dr. Boyle pointed out.

So let's consider that the big players are already bunkered up an' their government will declare Marshall Law and Mandated Vaccination for the masses, who will be coerced and coddled into thinking it's GOOD for you - then OUR population falls precipitously too, just before the record low crop yield this year! It's possible.

  11. The DOW is now above 29,000 today. As in well above it. I believe this is a new record. I'm beginning to think that the NYSE is already AI and it just cannot be killed. After all humans die the DOW will just keep setting records after temporary declines. It'll probably even figure out a way to keep going without electric power.

Anyway, so much for pandemic feared stock market decline. Not happening.
