Event Update For 2019-12-01

http://jumpingjackflashhypothesis.blogspot.com/2012/02/jumping-jack-flash-hypothesis-its-gas.html

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

  1. Welcome to December, Jonny and everyone reading JJFH.

Yeah, last month was nuts, but it was probably a harbinger of much worse to come. i appreciate you taking the time to collate the various end-of-month highlights and enjoy recapping the spotlight stories, watery deaths, boat fires and the pictorials.

Wasn't much of a month for Hull, UK events with only 6 being reported. Garbage truck fires were also unimpressive with only 7 (first time these exceeded Hull JJFH events). Though the reporting site was down for a considerable period (and i only just now thought of looking for a Hull, UK based newspaper on-line), we could estimate what the numbers may have been by looking at the averages over the past 3 years that i've been keeping records, but i'm not going to bother, since it hardly matters anyway. On the 14th, both events happened together.

Signs Of The Times: Mt. Rainier And The New Madrid Fault Zone Were Both Just Hit By Significant Earthquakes
    http://theeconomiccollapseblog.com/archives/signs-of-the-times-mt-rainier-and-the-new-madrid-fault-zone-were-both-just-hit-by-significant-earthquakes

Mt. Rainier and the New Madrid fault zone are both shaking, and a catastrophic seismic event at either location would cause death and destruction on an unimaginable scale. Mt. Rainier has been called “one of the most dangerous volcanoes in the world”, and scientists tell us that it is just a matter of time before a major eruption occurs. When that day finally arrives, Mt. Rainier has the potential to bury hundreds of square miles with a colossal tsunami of super-heated mud that is literally several hundred feet deep. And since Mt. Rainier is very close to major population centers, we are talking about the potential for the worst disaster that we have seen in modern American history. But a massive earthquake along the New Madrid fault zone actually has the potential to be far worse. [more]

U.S. oil output growth slows: just how much is anyone's guess

U.S. oil producers could expand daily output by 1 million barrels next year, or by as little as 100,000 barrels, with the wide gap creating huge uncertainty as OPEC officials gather this week to weigh production curbs.

Shale output has routinely defied naysayers over the past three years as U.S. production has surged to nearly 13 million barrels per day (bpd), making the nation the world's largest crude oil producer and a major exporter with an average of just under 3 million bpd so far this year.

But the outlook for 2020 comes with growing skepticism from those inside the industry - and should growth fall short, it could shift the balance of power in world supply back to the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries. [more]

  7. 55F in Melbourne today - does seem a little chilly. If they can hang in until Monday though, the forecast is for 91F. Not sure either of those is 'normal' for spring. Probably fewer fires at 55F tho!

Wall Street set course for its third consecutive sell-off on Tuesday as investor optimism over a potential near-term respite from the U.S.-China trade war evaporated following commentary from President Donald Trump and Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross.

A huge fire has erupted in Bahri City's industrial zone, north of the Sudanese capital Khartoum. The Central Committee of Sudan Doctors (CCSD) declared a citywide emergency, and the number of dead is expected to rise.

The incident happened mid-morning local time on Tuesday and forced mass evacuations as huge explosions ripped through the area. Raging fires sent vast plumes of smoke skyward, which were visible across the city.

The fire reportedly broke out in the 'Sila' ceramic factory and was caused by a gas tanker explosion which then quickly spread throughout the area, with fatal consequences. A district police chief said at least 23 people were killed and 45 injured. [more]

We will live in the house longer than one year. Over the 30-year life of a mortgage, the chance of the house flooding at least once vastly exceeds 1%, because every year is another roll of the dice. It's not cumulative, though. The mathematics for back-calculating the odds is called a Bernoulli Process. Here's what it looks like [more]

An asteroid as big as the Egyptian pyramids is zooming towards Earth and will squeeze past us on Friday - if it doesn't smash on to our home planet's surface. Named 2019 WR3, NASA expects the space rock to make a "close approach" to Earth later this week.

WR3 is believed to have a diameter of between 76m to 170m. It is expected that on December 6, the asteroid will pass within 5.44 million km of Earth at speeds of 27,036 km/hr. [more]
