Event Update For 2019-12-24
http://jumpingjackflashhypothesis.blogspot.com/2012/02/jumping-jack-flash-hypothesis-its-gas.html
The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.
A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

Quote: "The federal government in Chile declared an alert Tuesday over a wildfire that had damaged dozens of homes on the outskirts of the port city of Valparaiso."
Quote: "'This fire presents characteristics of evident intentionality,' Mr. Sharp told the national television station, citing the fact that fire appeared to start in several places at around the same time."
Note: That doesn't mean anything anymore. Maybe those places all had some rusty iron or steel or electrified copper in the area. One cloud of gas could cause numerous simultaneous fires, and Chile is on the western coast of South America, the side most likely to have flammable methane and/or hydrogen sulfide blowing in off the ocean. There have been many examples of mysterious simultaneous fires occurring, but an early one that I recall offhand was an event where an SUV burst into flame while parked at one home while an exterior dimmer switch burst into flame simultaneously at the home next door, at 3:30 AM, in Stuttgart (Arkansas), mentioned in the 2013-02-05 update. Only something in the atmosphere could have caused both fires at the same time at adjacent homes like that. So 'whatever' it was that caused those simultaneous fires in Stuttgart, how could the authorities in Chile know that the same thing didn't cause the simultaneous fires there? There's no way they could know. They're just making assumptions based on ignorance of reality as it is now. Garbage in, garbage out...

Are major quakes increasing since 1900? They were increasing at a terrifying rate up to 2014 but between then and April 2017 USGS adjusted historical data adding an extra 1,817 quakes
http://www.thebigwobble.org/2019/12/are-major-quakes-increasing-since-1900.html
Major quakes in the mag 6 to 6.9 range had increases astonishingly over the 114 years since 1900, however, magnitude 7 upward had remained stable over the 114 year period, while magnitude 6 to 6.9 quakes had exploded in numbers the magnitudes 7 to 7.9 and magnitudes 8 to 8.9 had remained practically stable from 1900 to 2014 [more]
For the second time in a month and the 21st time this year the Philippines is battered by a typhoon: Typhoon Phanfone has left 16 dead with 30,000 stranded of evacuated
http://www.thebigwobble.org/2019/12/for-second-time-in-month-and-21st-time.html
Christmas turned to chaos for many holiday observers in the central Philippines as a typhoon with strong winds and heavy rains destroyed homes, cut off power and stranded travellers, disaster officials said on Wednesday. Typhoon Phanfone, rated category 2 by Tropical Storm Risk, was packing maximum sustained winds of 120 km per hour (75 miles per hour) with gusts up to 190km/h (118 mph) and made landfall several times across various islands, officials say. Very Unusual Seismic Activity On The West Coast Has Some Experts Extremely Concerned About What Could Happen

What I am talking about is an event that will completely wipe out entire cities and that the region will never recover from. As I have detailed repeatedly, authorities have warned us that “everything west of Interstate 5 will be toast” when an absolutely massive seismic event along the Cascadia subduction zone sends a gigantic tsunami sweeping inland. Australia on fire: 9 people killed, more than 800 homes destroyed, nearly 100 fires in NSW and hotspots in every state
https://watchers.news/2019/12/23/australia-bushfires-2019/
Nearly 100 bushfires are raging across New South Wales Australia as of December 23, 2019, at 12:00 UTC (23:00 LT), with hotspots in every state-- a fire tracker map maintained by Western Australia researchers show that blazes are also threatening areas around every major city and that the fires have ringed the entire continent. "Australia is literally on fire right now," said Richie Merzian of the Australia Institute, as nine have been killed so far and over 800 homes were destroyed. The hottest day since records began was registered on Wednesday, December 18 -- at 41.9 °C (107.4 °F). [more]
Mystery deepens in death of Michigan mom Adrienne Quintal
ReplyDeletehttps://nypost.com/2019/12/24/mystery-deepens-in-death-of-michigan-mom-adrienne-quintal/
Foul play does not appear to be a factor in the disappearance of Michigan mom Adrienne Quintal, whose body was discovered over the weekend after she vanished from her family’s cabin more than two months earlier, according to new reports.
Quintal’s body was discovered Saturday near a dam roughly 300 yards from the Honor, Mich., cabin she vanished from on Oct. 17.
The day Quintal disappeared, the single mom made a desperate call to family members, claiming two men were outside the cabin shooting while she was indoors.
Benzie County Undersheriff Kyle Rosa told local station WPBN Monday that the results of an initial examination of the body seem to indicate otherwise.
“We did not see any evidence of there being another party out there shooting back at her or doing things that were described, I just can’t explain it,” said Rosa. “Not sure what her state of mind was at that time, whether it was a medical event. We do feel that she was there the entire time.”
The exact circumstances of her death remain a mystery. The official cause will be determined by the medical examiner’s office. [more]

ReplyDeletePlanetary arson and amplifying feedbacks: No alternative to CO2 drawdown
https://arctic-news.blogspot.com/2019/12/planetary-arson-and-amplifying-feedbacks-no-alternative-to-co2-drawdown.html
No one knows how to impose 1.5 or 2.0 degrees Celsius limits on the mean global temperature, unless drawdown/carbon sequestration of atmospheric CO₂ is attempted, nor are drawdown methods normally discussed in most political or economic forums. According to Kevin Drum (2019), “Meeting the climate goals of the Paris Agreement is going to be nearly impossible without removing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere”.
The release of some 910 billion tons of carbon dioxide is leading human society, indeed much of nature, to an existential impasse. The widest chasm has developed between what climate science is indicating and between climate policies and negotiations controlled by governments, politicians, economists and journalists—none of whom fully comprehends, or is telling the whole truth about, the full consequences of the current trend in the atmosphere-ocean-land system.
The evidence for future projections, as understood by climate scientists, has been largely put to one side, mainly because it is economically and politically “inconvenient” or is frightening. Reports from the Madrid climate COP-25 Conference suggest negotiations, focusing on emission reductions, are overlooking the evidence that at the current concentration of CO₂, which have reached 412 ppm and 496 ppm-equivalent (when the CO₂-equivalents of methane and nitrous oxide are included), amplifying feedbacks from land and ocean are pushing temperatures further upwards. This is driven by the replacement of sea ice and land ice and snow surfaces by open water surfaces, by methane leaks, desiccated vegetation, fires and reduced CO₂ absorption by warming oceans. Given the long atmospheric residence time of CO₂ (Solomon et al. 2009, Eby et al. 2009) and the short life span of aerosols, attempts at CO₂ drawdown are essential if complete devastation of the biosphere is to be.
