The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

Key words being "it's far too late to stop this". So anytime any of you hear any horse manure about how "we've got to stop this by geoengineering, or cutting back on this and cutting back on that...", just ignore it. Live your life by not only by the day but by the moment. We are all dead men and women walking. Get through the five stages of grief until you get to acceptance. That's all you can do. When you get to acceptance you are much more likely to not go nuts or get massively depressed and stay depressed.

Of course when I say "you" I am using it in the all inclusive way.

Sage advice, Mike.

Many of us got a clue how this was gonna end when the governments of the world started playing with nuclear power.

Ah just blast an atoll way out in the Pacific, ain't gone hurt nothin'. . . of course we went along with "the war effort" accepting nuclear testing in one of the states (if not several, counting all the lab work and such). Then they decided to build power plants - hell of a way to heat water - disregarding the impossibility of disposing of the waste safely. So of course we had Three Mile Island (about 25 miles from me), Chernobyl and Fukushima (which, so far has negatively effected most of the marine life in the Pacific).

In between those disasters, we've had gigantic oil spills, chemical plant mishaps, who knows how many bio-hazard events, all the while tearing up the rainforests and killing any other species that gets in our way (not to mention despoiling the oceans in too many ways to list here).

Most people, i'm guessing, don't care and prefer to stay distracted with their mundane little lives, never even thinking about the self-imposed prison inside a police state that their lives have become.

But you're so right about acceptance. None of this matters to any more than one's own locale. When disaster finally comes for us, then we "get it."

The U.K.’s hottest summer in four decades hurt wheat crops more than normal because a wet and late winter hindered root development, leaving plants more vulnerable to damage from summer dryness.
