Event Update For 2018-05-09

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

2018-05-09 - Water sickening and killing people in and around Kratié (Cambodia):
http://hisz.rsoe.hu/alertmap/database/index.php?pageid=event_desc&edis_id=HZ-20180511-63044-KHM
http://www.phnompenhpost.com/national/eighty-taken-ill-suspected-water-poisoning-mkiri

Quote: "At least 80 people in Preh and Roneg villages in Mondulkiri province's Sre Chhouk commune suffered vomiting, dizziness and weakness due to suspected poisonous water from a stream they were using. The illnesses come after 13 people died and more than 130 people sent to hospital due to drinking water contaminated with poisonous substances in Kratie over the past few weeks. Lor Sokha, Mondulkiri province police chief, told the media that technical officers initially suspected the poisoning occurred after villagers drank water from Preah river and others drank rain water which had combined with water from the river. However, the cause has not yet been determined as authorities are waiting for the results of an analysis of the water and food they had consumed."

Quote: "He said on Wednesday that he spoke to the victims and they said they began to find it difficult to breathe, had stomachaches and vomited after drinking both the water from the river and rainwater from the roofs of their houses."

Note: So not just river water but also rainwater from the roofs of homes. Hydrogen sulfide is water soluble, it's getting into the atmosphere - thus all the rotten egg odor events around the world - and so rain from the sky will sometimes be poisonous. If the rain is poisonous enough, it could kill you just by falling on your head. Contaminated rainwater will also flow downhill to streams, rivers, ponds, lakes and seas/oceans and contaminate the water in them too. in 2015, 41 children and some animals mysteriously died after rainfall in Papua (Indonesia), mentioned in the 2015-11-24 update. Last year, a bunch of people died in Australia from 'thunderstorm asthma' after rain storms there too. Every time you jump in a body of water or let water get on your head, you're betting that that water has not been contaminated. Lose that bet, as many already have, and you are apt to die. Municipal water supplies in major cities are likeliest to be safest, but there are no guarantees...

2018-05-09 - Unknown odor at building sends 12 people to the hospital, then later 2 more have convulsions too, in coastal Auckland (New Sealand):

http://www.stuff.co.nz/auckland/103816013/investigations-continue-at-auckland-highrise-after-mystery-gas-leak-injured-24-people

Quote: "Fire and Emergency say they don't know what caused the unknown smell in an Auckland office building this morning - but the building is now safe. Emergency crews were called to Augusta House on the corner of Victoria Street West and Elliot Street at 9.30am after an unusual smell was noticed on the eighth floor. Twelve people were taken to hospital and another 100 assessed after being exposed to the smell which caused nausea, headaches and vomiting."

Quote: "'It was a weird sort of organic smell. To be honest, I would describe it as chicken manure, but it was a sickly, sweet musty odour.'"

Quote: "Two more people have been affected by a mystery gas leak at an Auckland high-rise, nine hours after it hospitalised 12 people on Thursday morning. A Fire and Emergency NZ spokesman said firefighters had been called to Augusta House in Auckland's CBD just before 6pm. Firefighters had had reports of two people having convulsions, the spokesman said."

Quote: "Woon said fire crews ran gas detectors throughout the building and did not come up with anything. The New Zealand Defence Force's Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) – the bomb squad – was then called in to test the scene. 'We couldn't find anything that triggered our devices...and a preliminary search by them hasn't found anything either,' Woon said."

Note: They aren't using H2S detectors. Hydrogen sulfide won't show up on other types of detectors. And hydrogen sulfide at higher concentrations is described by some people as 'sickly sweet' or 'flowery'. The speed with which these people sickened, the symptoms, and the fact that this is a coastal city - they probably got hit by some fairly concentrated poisonous hydrogen sulfide, probably pulled into the building via the building's HVAC system. Nobody really knows what the long-term effects of that are (for people who survive), but they can't be good...

Ground Zero of Amphibian 'Apocalypse' Finally Found
    https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/ground-zero-of-amphibian-apocalypse-finally-found/ar-AAx4OIG

Many of the world's amphibians are staring down an existential threat: an ancient skin-eating fungus that can wipe out entire forests' worth of frogs in a flash.

This ecological super-villain, the chytrid fungus Batrachochytrium dendrobatidis, has driven more than 200 amphibian species to extinction or near-extinction—radically rewiring ecosystems all over Earth.

“This is the worst pathogen in the history of the world, as far as we can tell, in terms of its impacts on biodiversity,” says Mat Fisher, an Imperial College London mycologist who studies the fungus. [more]

[one example] Curiosity of that type was instrumental in the work that led to his Nobel Prize. While eating in the Cornell cafeteria, Feynman noticed someone tossing a plate, kind of like a Frisbee. As the plate flew by, Feynman noticed that the Cornell medallion on the plate was rotating more rapidly than the plate was wobbling. He performed some calculations and showed that the medallion's rotation rate should be precisely twice the rate of the wobbling. He then perceived an analogy to a problem he had been investigating relating to the motion of electrons. The wobbling plate turned out to provide the clue he needed to develop a new version of the theory of quantum electrodynamics. [more]

  6. Dmitry Orlov posts two articles a week, Tue and Thur. His Thur article can only be read by his Patreon supporters. He only suggests one dollar per month for those who are interested. I have long enjoyed his perspectives on world and national events since he is a rare dual US and Russian citizen.

I want to share just a part of his article from yesterday because he gives probably the REAL reason why the US just canceled the "agreement" with Iran. This reason goes hand in hand with the growing reality that the US dollar is in trouble:

"Here’s a perspective on Trump’s decision to pull out of JCPOA, a.k.a. the Iran Nuclear Deal, that definitely doesn’t get enough airtime. It’s all about money. Following the Iranian revolution of 1978-79, Jimmy Carter froze Iran’s assets in the US. Ever since then, the US has been holding on to between $100 and $120 billion in Iranian assets, which have been accruing rent and interest. After the JCPOA, which stipulated the lifting of sanctions on Iran, Washington has been doing its best to drag its feet on releasing these assets, but they would have to be returned to Iran sooner or later… unless the US pulled out of the deal, which it just did.

It is very important to note that these frozen Iranian assets are US dollar-denominated. And what would be the first thing that the Iranians would do upon regaining control of them? Why, of course, they would convert them out of US dollars. This is a requirement written into Iranian law: no US dollars allowed, and nobody in Iran has the power to change that even if they wanted to. According to the Iranians, US officials have pleaded with the Iranians not to liquidate their dollar-denominated assets, but that the Iranians told them that nobody has the authority to change this law.

A sudden liquidation of this size would have punched an irreparable hole in the dollar system, which hinges on the ability to sell huge quantities of US treasury paper on the international market. The Iranian liquidation of dollar assets would have come at a time when the US is in dire need of foreign debt buyers, the demand is soft, and liquidity at the primary dealers for US debt is at record lows. It might have been enough to trigger a run on the US dollar as everybody dumped their treasury paper and lead to the collapse of the entire scheme by which the US robs the rest of the world by forcing it to continuously buy up its debt...."

  7. Good stuff, Mike. I saw the potential hurricane threat in the Gulf, but the Orlov viewpoint I hadn't read. I expect he's correct, since it sounds like the kind of conniving shit we'd pull at this point in our empire collapse. I'm surprised we have ANY allies at this point.
