Event Update For 2017-01-22

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

Quote: "For a long time, Desdemona has feared that when the effects of global warming become obvious to everyone, governments will shut down our Earth observation science, so that collectively, the human species can bury its head in the sand. The year 2016 saw huge strides toward this goal of dismantling science and blinding us all. The May government in the UK and the Turnbull government in Australia defunded their climate science research programs. In the U.S., the Trump team declared that they are seeking quick ways of withdrawing from the Paris agreement on climate change, and that NASA Earth science will be defunded. Scientists undertook a desperate effort to copy public climate data from government servers, in the event that Trump’s climate denialists order its destruction."

  1. Hey Jonny. Is it me, or do an unusual amount of train derailments happen in India? Yeah, we had one in Hoboken recently, but India seems to have more than 'one every once in a while' it seems (i'd have to go back and check).

The guy who died surfing - was that a JJFH event or did he drown due to rough surf or a bad wipeout? Says 'cause unknown' so I guess anything is possible (and since he's IN the ocean, where a lot of H2S is dissociating, it's just as likely one of yours).

I wonder what's up at the various military bases that service people are dropping dead (housing built with 'Chinese drywall')?

[South America startin' to burn up (adding to your Chile report, above]

The disaster was called “a sort of earthquake” for the area, agriculture minister Carlos Furche said on Chile’s national radio, with a farming emergency declared. Crops and vineyards have been destroyed.

Television news footage showed helicopters and planes attempting to put out the fires, but apparently to little effect.

Wildfires have ravaged more than one million hectares across several locations

The argentinian wildfire started during a dry storm, which saw around 500 lightning strikes in a predominately dry grass area [more]

  2. Trump signs five more orders on pipelines, steel and environment
    https://www.sott.net/article/340553-Trump-signs-five-more-orders-on-pipelines-steel-and-environment

In reversing the Obama administration policy to disapprove the Keystone pipeline, Trump emphasized that the construction isn't a done deal. "It's something that subject to a renegotiation of terms by us," he said. "We'll see if we can get the pipeline built. A lot of jobs, 28,000 jobs."

The president also signed a similar order on the Dakota Access Pipeline, a 1,172-mile pipeline from North Dakota to Illinois that has been the subject of heated protests.

Then he signed a separate action requiring that the steel used in the pipelines be made in the United States. [more]

unlike the ancient Greeks, Egyptians and Maya, the ancestral Pueblo people had no written language or number system to aid them when they built the site. Incredibly, their measurements were still near-perfect, with a relative error of less than one percent.

"This is what I find especially amazing," Towers says. "The genius of the site's architects cannot be underestimated. If you asked someone today to try to reconstruct this site and achieve the same precision that they had using just a stick and a piece of cord, it's highly unlikely they'd be able to do it, especially if they couldn't write anything down as they were working." Trump plans to ban the EPA from funding science, report says
    https://www.yahoo.com/news/trump-plans-ban-epa-funding-183300111.html

Donald Trump plans to ban the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) from funding science, and "overhaul" its use of science from outside groups, according to a Monday report published in Axios.

Trump's transition team was led by Myron Ebell, a man who has made a career denying the science of climate change.

This report landed on the same day as an article published in The Wall Street Journal that reports Trump plans to stop federal agencies from studying the greenhouse gas impacts of new projects.

As Axios notes, all of this overhauling may not be as easy as it sounds. Some EPA rules can't be changed without support from Congress. Furthermore, Trump's administration could face pushback from current EPA staff in disagreement over the proposed direction of the agency. [more]

Trump administration silences federal scientists at USDA, EPA – National Park Service defies gag order with tweets on climate science
    http://www.desdemonadespair.net/2017/01/trump-administration-silences-federal.html

The administration’s latest actions resemble steps taken in Canada by former Prime Minister Stephen Harper while in office from 2006 to 2015; his administration blocked government scientists from speaking with media and explaining their research. Several weeks before Trump’s inauguration, Canadian scientists interviewed by Scientific American warned their U.S. counterparts about the threat of similar restrictions.

The official Twitter account for the Badlands National Park is raging against the Trump machine by tweeting facts about climate change despite a gag order.

In response to the rogue tweeting, political observers remarked on the bravery of the @BadlandsNPS social media manager for ignoring the White House’s gag order. [more]

    http://ponziworld.blogspot.com/2017/01/level-11-full-retard-world-of-demagogue.html

Trump is now going to rearrange Globalization to maximize jobs and profits at the same time. An inherently impossible task, but not for him and his deluded acolytes.

The end of rationality and sanity didn't happen overnight. Since the 2008 crash, both have been steadily eroded by ever dumber more desperate ideas. One after another after another. All put forth by the same failed charlatans who helped to create the housing bubble. The lamestream media were wholly complicit to the extent that they never questioned this inexorable slide down the slippery slope of asinine ideas. None of them ever had the veracity to just say "sorry, this just isn't going to work". Rationality and truth were wholesale abandoned years ago. Papered over with untold amounts of Prozac and reality TV. [more]

An asteroid is about to slip between Earth and the moon — the second near miss in 3 weeks
    https://www.yahoo.com/finance/news/asteroid-slip-between-earth-moon-194700234.html

[where are we, the Oort cloud or something?]

Less than 3 weeks ago, while America was getting the kids to school and arriving at work, an asteroid the size of a building slipped past Earth from a distance about halfway to the moon.

Now a similar space rock is about to zoom by our helpless planet.

The new near-Earth object (NEO), dubbed asteroid 2017 BX, was only discovered a few days ago, on Friday, January 20. It's slated to swing by Tuesday night at 11:54 p.m. ET at a distance of about 162,000 miles (261,000 kilometers) — roughly two-thirds the way to the moon. [more]
