Quote: "'One theory was that something like this happened as whales increased. It’s a product of their success,' said Lyman."

Note: Hah, yeah, sure, whales are doing so great that they're just disappearing. A much simpler explanation would be that they're missing because they're dead or dying, as with all the humpback whales that have been washing ashore dead around the world in recent times. Whoever came up with that theory obviously hasn't been paying attention to all the dead whales around the planet, like the biggest whale die-off ever recorded, just six weeks ago, in Chile, where 337 whales were found dead, mentioned in the 2015-11-20 update...

Note: The ancient anaerobic archaea and bacteria that eat methane and produce hydrogen sulfide are gonna love that. They'll explode in population all throughout the ocean, spew hydrogen sulfide as they multiply, and oxygen-using life on Earth will be mostly wiped out, just as has happened in the past. Also, this area where they were looking at the cores is near Santa Barbara, where the waters at a bird refuge turned pink last fall from purple sulfur bacteria that eat hydrogen sulfide and which ONLY exist in hydrogen-sulfide-rich waters, mentioned in the 2015-09-22 update...

'Touchdown speed was OK, but a leg lockout didn’t latch, so it tipped over after landing,' Musk said in a tweet Sunday."

Note: Looks like they've almost got it! I wonder if they've considered putting a big hydraulic platform on the landing ship that would automatically adjust to the waves and remain perfectly level. Seems like that wouldn't be too hard to do, and then they wouldn't have to worry about the rocket landing on a non-level swaying surface. It might cost more upfront to build ships with such platforms, but they'd probably save a lot of money in the long run on the rockets that don't crash and/or explode...

Quote: "Keilers said the frequency of the smell is increasing, from once every three months to almost every other day sometimes. 'The smell is of rotten egg. So it's indicative of hydrogen sulfide. So with exposure to that even if it's long-term, short-term, what are the effects to me? What are the effects to my two 3-year-old twins? It's health concerns,' Keilers said."
