Note: Contaminated clothes plus static electricity (or a cig or an electronic device like a cellphone) and whoosh, you might go up in flames just like this. Hydrogen sulfide has an odor (though you quickly lose the ability to smell it), but methane is odorless, so you won't know if your clothes and/or hair (or home or car) have been contaminated with methane until you're on fire. Such fires will burn very hot so they're often going to be fatal, although this woman is still alive, albeit in critical condition...

I've mentioned this problem many times before as others have burned to death similarly after their vehicles burst into flame. It's wise now to travel with something to cut seatbelts and smash out car windows because you may only have seconds to act once your car is on fire...

Note: Sounds like this explosion occurred near the time of that missile launch. This wasn't the missile, since the missile was headed out over the Pacific Ocean, but if the missile was intended to mitigate a gas plume before it reached the coast and exploded then this could've been some gas that got by, or it could've simply been another cloud of gas exploding in one of those 'mysterious explosions' that have been shaking cities around the world in recent times, sometimes accompanied by a flash of light. Note: They say 'attack', but there's no evidence people were involved. Similar damage hit some cars in a parking lot in March in Limburg (Netherlands), mentioned in the 2015-03-14 update. In 2011, some joggers were out in the Pacific Northwest and it rained on them and they got chemical burns. Over the last two years or so, a number of animals have shown up with chemical burns and again, no evidence of human involvement. As hydrogen sulfide breaks down in the upper atmosphere, sometimes acids will be formed, and acid may rain down from the sky in pockets. As time goes on, that'll be more common; for now it appears to be sporadic but growing in frequency. Eventually all our buildings and bridges and roads that aren't destroyed by fires or explosions will be dissolved this way. If you're outside and you get hit by rain and your clothes and/or skin starts smoking or dissolving, obviously get to shelter immediately...

An unknown odor recently sickened seven people at school in coastal Palm River (Florida), mentioned in the 2015-11-02 update. An unknown odor recently sickened some people at a hotel in coastal Palo Alto (California), and sixty students just sickened at a school in Lowell (Massachusetts) with a 'rotten egg' odor mentioned, both events mentioned in the 2015-10-29 update. They don't mention an odor at this school in Ripon, but hydrogen sulfide can sicken or kill you by touch too, so if some got into the school the night before and coated the upholstery on seats where these kids were seated or something like that then you might see a bunch of people sickening and collapsing like this. And when the concentration is STRONG, it doesn't smell like 'rotten eggs', but actually smells more innocuous, like flowers or licorice (different people describe it differently), so an odor like that might not even alarm anyone...

Of course, when it's going straight from the ground into the atmosphere, the refineries don't have a chance to remove it, so the people in this area are now being hit by poison gas. Nobody knows what the long-term effects are of chronic exposure to deadly hydrogen sulfide, even in small concentrations, which this probably is. Whatever the effects are, you can be certain that they're not good...

Note: They've had the worst fires on the planet burning in Indonesia. Like I mentioned when the two firefighters recently dropped dead within two days in Detroit (Michigan), hydrogen sulfide is adsorbing onto matter and then when that matter burns, there may be residual hydrogen sulfide in the smoke. So what happens when it rains while contaminated smoke is blowing? You may get some toxic and possibly deadly 'rainout'. So some poison rain fell, and these children and some pigs and poultry were exposed to it, either by getting rained on, or by drinking contaminated water after the rain, and it was deadly enough to kill small people and some animals. This isn't just going to happen in Indonesia. Eventually this is very likely to happen everywhere. It seems wise to avoid rain now, because you won't know if it's safe or deadly. If you assume it's deadly and it's actually fine then oh well, you unnecessarily avoided the rain, whereas if the rain is deadly and you assume it's fine then you could easily end up in a graveyard...
