Event Update For 2014-06-24

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

Category: Fires And Explosions

2014-06-24 - Metal recycling business erupts in flame in Wolcott (Connecticut):

Quote: "The scrap yard has several cement bins, and the metal in one of those bins had caught on fire."

2014-06-24 - Auto salvage yard erupts in flame, several cars burn, at 3:15 AM in coastal North Sydney (Canada):

Quote: "When the fire department arrived at about 3:15 a.m., five cars in one location in the yard were fully on fire. Futher up in the yard, a number of other cars were fully ablaze."

2014-06-24 - Metal scrap yard, auto shop and vehicles go up in flames at industrial estate in Erith (Britain):

Quote: "The Fire Brigade have confirmed that over half of a scrap yard and an adjacent car workshop is on fire and that a number of vehicles are alight, as well as scrap metal."

Note: Erith is located along the banks of the River Thames near the coast. From the full hypothesis: "Metal-related businesses will be hit hard, including salvage yards and metal recycling centers."

2014-06-24 - Home damaged by explosion and fire after 3 AM in Aurora (Colorado):

Quote: "Neighbors also reported hearing a loud bang or explosion when the fire started."

2014-06-24 - Home obliterated by huge explosion in Lagoa (Portugal), near the coast, 2 killed:

2014-06-24 - Explosion rocks business as men transfer fuel, in Washington County (Ohio), 3 injured:

Note: This sounds like it could be the work of the Ghostly Match. Nobody checked to see if any hydrogen sulfide and/or methane were present at the time, so the cause of this explosion will never be known. The same is true of all the homes exploding these days too...

2014-06-24 - Truck repair business goes up in flames in Fontana (California):

Quote: "The blaze was reported about 9 p.m. Tuesday, June 24, at 15460 Slover Avenue. just south of Interstate 10 and about midway between the Cherry and Citrus Avenue freeway exits."

2014-06-24 - Transformer explodes on pole at the University of Illinois in Champaign (Illinois), 'gas odor' mentioned too:

Quote: "Two mid-morning incidents around the University of Illinois campus in Champaign had plenty of emergency workers on alert but were apparently quickly controlled and totally unrelated. UI Deputy Police Chief Skip Frost said he’s working patrol today and noticed the strong odor of natural gas along Fourth Street and called it in about 9:45 a.m. Then, about 10:15 a.m., there was a report of an explosion at the parking deck at 801 S. Sixth St., which made him and others nervous that it might have been a gas-related explosion."

Note: No, he didn't smell the 'odor of natural gas', because natural gas is odorless. What he smelled was 'rotten egg' odor. They add stinky mercaptan to natural gas so that it has any odor at all, and that smells like 'rotten eggs'. Hydrogen sulfide at lower concentrations also smells like 'rotten eggs', so people are confusing what they're smelling, at least sometimes. Hydrogen sulfide is also reactive with copper, especially electrified copper, thus all the various underground explosions and fires, transformers exploding and burning, 'electrical fires' igniting (and sometimes starting) parked vehicles, etc. They are ASSUMING these two events were not related but it's not actually possible for them to know that. That is a mighty big - and mighty irresponsible - assumption to be making these days...

2014-06-24 - Underground electrical explosion and fire hits coastal Swanage (Britain):

Quote: "At just after 9pm, firefighters from Swanage were called to Cliff Avenue in the town, following reports of an explosion and smoke coming from a manhole cover."

2014-06-24 - Underground electrical fire breaks out in downtown Chico (California), businesses go dark:

2014-06-24 - Electrical room ignites in high-rise building in downtown St. Louis (Missouri), near the Mississippi River:

Note: And the day before, an underground fire broke out near Busch Stadium, also in downtown St. Louis, mentioned in the 2014-06-23 update...

2014-06-24 - Boat bursts into flame while docked at Bay Point in coastal Panama City Beach (Florida):

Quote: "Witnesses say the boat is pretty much destroyed."

2014-06-24 - Boat bursts into flame at fuel dock on Lake Powell (Utah), 2 injured:

Quote: "Two boats also caught fire over the weekend, according to the report. On Thursday, a 21-foot boat caught fire at the Bullfrog fuel dock, and three people sustained third-degree burns."

Note: The other boat fire was a houseboat that burst into flame, but I already mentioned that boat fire in the 2014-06-21 update. So two boats went up in flames in 2 or 3 days at Lake Powell...

2014-06-24 - Boat bursts into flame at 6:30 AM while parked in parking lot in coastal Broadmarsh, Havant (Britain):

Quote: "Mount Prospect firefighters also responded Tuesday morning to a fire in the engine compartment of a pickup truck in the parking lot at Subway near Rand Road and Elmhurst Road."

Quote: "Itasca firefighter also extinguished a car fire on the parking deck at the Arthur J. Gallagher building at Two Pierce Place in Itasca."

Note: No way to tell from the story, but all three of those could have been parked vehicles. Two of them were in parking lots. Three vehicles bursting into flame in the same general geographic area on the same day is not a coincidence...

Note: One car went up in flames at 3 AM and the other at 4:40 AM. The wee hours are when the atmosphere cools and contracts, which will push any hydrogen sulfide or methane in the air above closer to the ground, making fires, explosions and people and animals sickening and/or dying more common during those hours...

2014-06-24 - Car bursts into flame near roundabout in Caerphilly (Britain):

2014-06-24 - Car bursts into flame while parked at rugby club in Nuneaton (Britain):

Note: Well, they're not getting better at actually FINDING any arsonists, but they are getting great at BLAMING arsonists, even when there's no evidence that there were any. Everyone's good at something! Maybe they'll end up with just two people alive in Britain, both fire investigators, both glaring at the other suspiciously. 'So YOU are the arsonist that destroyed Britain!' 'No, it wasn't me so it must have been YOU!'

2014-06-24 - Woman, 41, found dead in Lake Powell (Utah):

Note: Two boats burst into flame on Lake Powell over the weekend too. Hydrogen sulfide is not only igniting vehicles, including boats, it is also water-soluble and will seek out low-lying areas like bodies of water, so you may get a whiff and die from gas or you may have contact with contaminated water and die that way too. It doesn't even have to kill you outright for you to end up dead when a body of water is handy. If you're merely knocked unconscious and your face lands in water then you will breathe water until dead, since breathing is an involuntary reflex...

2014-06-24 - Man, 67, found dead in the Muskingum River in Zanesville (Ohio):

Quote: "Marrero-Harvey Fire Chief Don Roberston said the smell is particulary strong when winds are out of the north, blowing emissions in the direction of surrounding neighborhoods."

Note: Marrero is located on the banks of the Mississippi River, which is just north of the city, and Marrero is also near the Gulf of Mexico and lots of lakes. This odor is highly likely hydrogen sulfide and if the concentration goes up to 1 part per thousand then people will start falling over dead, going insane with brain damage, foaming at the mouth, bleeding from their mouth/nose/ears, having seizures and 'medical events', experiencing kidney failure, etc. That just might be more than a nuisance. On the plus side, they're doing better than the thousands of people in coastal Rayong (Thailand) who recently started puking and fled from toxic gas of unknown origin, mentioned in the 2014-06-08 update...
