Event Update For 2014-06-17

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

2014-06-17 - Man drives SUV into the Eau Claire River and dies in Schofield (Wisconsin):

Note: The atmospheric contamination problem can kill you in a number of ways when vehicles are involved. You can simply be struck dead with one breath of hydrogen sulfide at 1 part per thousand concentration while sitting in your vehicle, which is probably what happened to the mother and her two kids in Hagerstown and the man in East Spencer. The gas can ignite your vehicle, possibly while knocking you unconscious and/or disabling power locks and windows, and then you burn to death, which is probably what happened to the man who burned to death in the van there. You can lose consciousness while driving and slam head-on into traffic or hit a tree or pole or building and die that way. Someone ELSE can succumb while driving and hit you and kill you. Your brakes and/or tires may ignite and that can cause a fiery crash that can kill you. If you're driving in, near or downwind of a low-lying area like a body of water then you may lose consciousness, veer into the water and breathe water until dead, which is likely what happened to the woman in Antigua and the man in Schofield...

Note: Sounds a lot like the 27-year-old man who collapsed into a creek and died the day prior, in Parke County (Indiana), mentioned in the 2014-06-16 update. Lots of deaths like this are occurring now. Hydrogen sulfide is a heavier-than-air gas so it will tend to end up in all the same places that water does. It's also water-soluble so if you swim in contaminated water - which is probably what happened to that 27-year-old man - then you may die via skin contact. But one breathe can also kill you if it's in gas form, and 'heart problems' is one way it kills you, as in your heart stops beating, which is indeed quite a problem...

  1. Hey Jonny - great finds here. Lots of the (incredibly) "usual" incidents and the number of people dropping dead isn't letting up any (I was thinking that would be a good way to go - jog by the ocean or some lake and breathe; it's real quick and you probably wouldn't feel it), while the animal attacks continue. The bee thing is spreading. Here in PA a truck carrying something like a million bees overturned a little ways back, and now these bees are wandering around in big swarms looking for a home (I guess), or going from crop to crop but they're causing problems in various areas miles from the crash.

The thing about the Tulsa Fire Dept. that's so funny is that they THINK they've thought of everything, but nobody expects the Inquisition! No, just kidding. They haven't declared any fires or deaths a result of atmospheric gases yet, so they don't have your Hypothesis to work with.
