2014 - MAR - Spotlight Stories

Category: Fires And Explosions

2014-03-01 - Smoke in the cabin sends passenger plane back to coastal Miami (Florida):

2014-03-01 - Boat explodes into flame as man transfers fuel inside shed at marina in coastal Vancouver (Canada), 1 injured:
http://www.nsnews.com/news/boat-catches-fire-at-marina-1.872674

Quote: "At this point, it appears he was transferring fuel out of a tank and we figure there was an ignition that created a small explosion and ignited the fuel he was transferring..."

Note: Sounds like the work of the Ghostly Match. This man is lucky to be alive. A man was critically injured by an explosion and fire as he gassed up at 6:23 AM at a gas station in Danbury (Connecticut), as mentioned in the 2013-12-20 update. (He later died). A mother and her young son were incinerated at a gas station in Meho (India), as mentioned in the 2013-12-18 update. A car burst into flame as a driver gassed up at a gas station in Morristown (Tennessee), as mentioned in the 2014-02-03 update. A car burst into flame as the driver gassed up at a gas station in Srinigar (India), also mentioned in the 2014-02-03 update. And so on. Many boats have burst into flame and/or exploded while refueling too, especially in the past year. You won't see this problem coming until the fire and/or explosion erupts and then it's too late...

2014-03-01 - School bus bursts into flame while parked at bus garage on Reservoir Road in Albion (Pennsylvania):

Quote: "One bus was in flames and the fire spread to the two buses parked on either side of it. That leaves three buses damaged and others with likely smoke damage. The chief says the loss will top 350 thousand dollars."

2014-03-01 - Tractor trailer bursts into flame on I-29 near Argusville (North Dakota):
http://www.valleynewslive.com/story/24861444/semi-burns-to-ground-driver-escapes

2014-03-01 - Car bursts into flame while parked inside garage, fire spreads to garage, at home in coastal North Haven (Connecticut):
http://northhaven.patch.com/groups/police-and-fire/p/car-catches-fire-in-garage-on-stanton-road
http://www.nbcconnecticut.com/news/local/Garage-Catches-Fire-in-North-Haven-248021501.html
http://www.onenewspage.us/n/US/750cmxz1a/Car-Catches-Fire-in-Garage-on-Stanton-Road.htm

Quote: "Firefighters responded to Stanton Road in North Haven early this morning after a car caught fire and spread to the garage."

Note: This is just a sampling of vehicular fires. Planes, boats, buses, trucks, vans, cars, they're all burning pretty good now. Trains too, but not on this day. Vehicles have lots of vulnerabilities to the atmospheric hydrogen sulfide and methane problem. Hydrogen sulfide is reactive with rusty iron/steel, which all vehicles have unless fresh off the assembly line. It's also reactive with copper, especially electrified copper, which means battery cables and other vehicle wiring. (This is the likely cause of most of the non-running vehicles that are spontaneously igniting all over the planet.) Many vehicles also use flammable fuels which can generate flammable vapors and then if there's hydrogen sulfide present ALSO then the Ghostly Match can cause ignition. Vehicles also generate heat in the engine compartment and the exhaust, and heat alone can ignite flammable gas plumes. Finally, most vehicles (boats being the exception) use heat-generating friction for braking AND they use semi-absorbent flammable rubber tires (except trains which still use friction for braking), and as hydrogen sulfide and/or methane absorbs into the tires and brake pads, the use of brakes is igniting vehicles. So, vehicles are now randomly-igniting firebombs that can go off at any time, which means it is increasingly dangerous to park vehicles near anything you don't want to see burning up, like other vehicles and buildings...

2014-03-02 - Couple, 72 and 62, found dead in home in Kaysville (Utah):
http://www.ksl.com/?nid=148&sid=28907695
http://www.sltrib.com/sltrib/news/57621042-78/amp-kaysville-police-200.html.csp

http://www.deseretnews.com/article/865597751/Couple-found-dead-in-Kaysville-home-but-no-foul-play-suspected.html

Quote: "Officers then used force to enter the home and found 72-year-old Jeffery Wayman dead in the living room and his wife, 62-year-old Judith Wayman, dead in the bathroom. Police said they had possibly been dead for a week. The Kaysville Fire Department also responded to check the home for possible levels of carbon monoxide, but there was 'no report of any signs of carbon monoxide,' Pies said."

Quote: "The state medical examiners preliminary report confirmed that there were no suspicious signs of trauma or injuries..."

Note: Sounds like they just dropped dead, joining a growing list of other couples who have dropped dead in their homes. This home is about 1/3 mile east (downwind) of Holmes Creek and is also just 2 or 3 miles northeast (downwind) of the Great Salt Lake...

2014-03-02 - Young woman found burned to death next to burnt-out scooter, young man burned too, later dies, in Surapettai (India):
http://www.thehindu.com/news/cities/chennai/woman-found-dead/article5743855.ece

Quote: "A 23-year-old woman was found charred to death in Surapettai on Sunday, while an unidentified man, found injured at the same spot, died later in the evening."

Quote: "A scooter was also found gutted beside the woman’s body. The police said they had no leads into the circumstances leading to the woman’s death."

Note: Same scenario as that young engaged couple from McFarland (Wisconsin) who burned to death in their vehicle early in 2013, as mentioned in the 2013-01-01 update, except this time it was a scooter instead of a car. An explosion and fire just killed a young man near his van at a beach in Australia too, as mentioned in the 2014-02-26 update...

2014-03-02 - Two teens, 13 and 15, fall into river and die, in Sungai Lebir, Kelantan (Malaysia):
http://www.bernama.com.my/bernama/v7/ge/newsgeneral.php?id=1018673

Note: So a couple drops dead at home, a couple burns to death near a vehicle and a couple of kids die in a body of water (e.g. a low-lying area). The situation is not lookin' too good for the ol' human race...

2014-03-03 - Man, 20, found dead in burning car in Fairfax County (Virginia):
http://www.wusa9.com/story/news/2014/03/04/car-fire-fidel-salmeron-va/6012291/
http://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/fr/news/2014archive/2014_26.htm

Quote: "Officials say 20-year-old Fidel Salmeron, Jr. of Springfield was found in a burning car at approximately 7:30 p.m. Monday in the Crosspointe area of Fairfax County. According to officials, the 1998 Chevrolet Camaro was located on the southbound side of Ox Road, beyond the intersection of Furnace Road. Salmeron was found in the driver's seat. Fire investigators say the fire appears to have started in the engine compartment."

Note: So why didn't he just get out of the car if the fire started in the engine compartment? Because he was unconscious or already dead...

2014-03-03 - Charred corpse found in burning car at 4 AM in Gary (Indiana):
http://www.nwitimes.com/news/local/lake/gary/gary-police-seek-to-identify-body-found-in-burning-car/article_ef4797f9-37d4-56ad-bb9b-b1a1a6e55326.html

Note: From the full hypothesis: "Vehicles of all kinds will continue to burn, as they have been, and the number of vehicular fires will continue to escalate, inevitably resulting in a corresponding increase in the number of people being incinerated in their vehicles."

2014-03-04 - Huge explosion damages or destroys 50+ homes and condo units in Ewing Township (New Jersey), 1 killed, 7 injured:

http://news.yahoo.com/20-homes-remain-uninhabitable-nj-explosion-174928458.html

Quote: "Ewing Mayor Bert Steinmann said the gas line that was damaged had been marked out. He said it's possible they will never be able to identify the point of ignition."

Note: Sounds like this may have been the work of the Ghostly Match. Oh, I believe there was a gas line rupture, but what ignited the gas? Look back over the last year at all the humongous gas pipeline explosions. So, there's a gas line, and it leaks. It doesn't matter WHY it leaks - accidental rupture, decaying infrastructure, whatever. So the gas starts flooding the atmosphere. In 'normal times' the gas would often just blow away with the wind, no ignition source, and what you'd have is the gas company annoyed at wasting some gas. But once the air is volatile enough - from ANY type of flammable fumes - then if there's even a little hydrogen sulfide around, and it meets some electrified copper or rusty iron/steel then a spark may appear out of nowhere and there'll be a fire, explosion or both. So what you'd expect to see is MORE gas pipeline leaks resulting in gigantic explosions and fires, and that's what is happening. Also, more people and vehicles igniting at gas stations, and that's happening too. And more meth lab explosions and more hash oil extraction explosions, and those are happening as well. ANY flammable vapors in the air, of any type, for whatever reason, will now be more apt to spontaneously ignite even if there is no apparent ignition source in the area. Ewing Township is located on the northeastern (downwind) banks of the Delaware River...

2014-03-05 - Mysterious explosion shakes homes and rattles residents around Evanston (Canada):
http://globalnews.ca/news/1187727/huge-blast-shakes-northwest-neighbourhoods/
http://calgary.ctvnews.ca/expert-says-seismic-monitoring-station-offline-during-explosion-1.1714833
http://www.660news.com/2014/03/04/northwest-residents-left-rattled-after-mysterious-boom/

Quote: "Police and the fire department have investigated, but haven’t turned up anything so far."

Quote: "A number of other unexplained explosions occurred in Southern Ontario in January. The people who heard them described them as a loud noise that shook their homes, leading them to believe something had hit their house."

Quote: "The loud noise happened around 5 p.m. and could be felt in communities like Hidden Valley, Silver Springs, Ranchlands, Edgemont and Hawkwood. Calls flooded into 911, with people reporting a shockwave that shook their homes."

Note: These mysterious explosions really started escalating around the world a couple of years ago, right as methane began seriously spewing into the atmosphere, and right as events involving 'rotten egg' odors began escalating. Not a coincidence. Both methane and hydrogen sulfide are explosively flammable and as the atmospheric contamination intensifies, more fires and explosions are to be expected. Eventually these explosions may rival the small nuclear explosion that destroyed Hiroshima, but minus the radiation, unless an explosion takes out a nuclear plant, many of which are located on coasts and all of which are near bodies of water for cooling...

Quote: "Firefighters were called to a major fire at a vehicle recycling warehouse off Newbold Road on Thursday (6 March) afternoon."

Note: And an auto salvage yard went up in flames the day prior in St. Louis (Missouri), near the Mississippi River, as mentioned in the 2014-03-05 update. From the full hypothesis: "Metal-related businesses will be hit hard, including salvage yards and metal recycling centers."

2014-03-07 - Boeing 777 passenger plane carrying 239 people goes missing over the South China Sea near Vietnam:

http://www.nbcnews.com/storyline/missing-jet/malaysia-jet-vanishes-three-americans-plus-one-infant-board-n47516

Quote: "Vietnamese authorities said Saturday they detected the last signal from a missing Malaysia Airlines flight off Vietnam's southwest coast over the South China Sea."

Note: The plane took off from Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) and was heading to Beijing (China) when it vanished. No distress call was issued. It could have hit a gas plume - methane or hydrogen sulfide or both. Then any number of things could go wrong: 1) the pilots could have had 'medical events' and then the plane would crash since there'd be no one to pilot it, and that would also explain the sudden loss of contact and lack of a distress signal; 2) the plane's engines might have cut off due to the atmospheric oxygen content being out-of-tolerance for the engine design; 3) the plane could have caught fire and/or exploded, in which case all they will find is wreckage, if that; 4) the plane engines could have detonated a gas plume NEAR the plane, which may have blown off a wing or destroyed the entire plane; 5) the plane could have suffered massive systemic electrical failure, which would kill communication ability and make the plane unflyable. In February of last year, a witness reported a 'flash of light' before a helicopter crashed in Oklahoma City, mentioned in the 2013-03-13 update:

Quote: "The National Transportation Safety Board says a witness reported seeing a flash in the sky before a helicopter crashed near an Oklahoma City nursing home last month, killing two people. It's not clear what could have caused such a flash."

Note: That flash of light was very likely a gas plume - methane or hydrogen sulfide or both - being ignited by the helicopter engines or wiring and causing an explosion or 'flash fire' large enough to knock that helicopter out of the sky and kill the occupants. As the atmospheric contamination intensifies, the gas plumes will become more numerous, larger and more concentrated. If a smallish explosion can bring down a helicopter then obviously a larger explosion can bring down a passenger jet, and the flash of light that brought that helicopter down was more than a year ago, so there's an extra year for the problem to have worsened.

2014-03-07 - Passenger plane engine bursts into flame during takeoff at Heathrow Airport in coastal London (Britain):
http://hisz.rsoe.hu/alertmap/site/?pageid=event_desc&edis_id=VIV-20140307-42939-GBR

Quote: "A plane has been forced to turn back to Heathrow after an engine started spitting fire as it was taking off."

2014-03-07 - Helicopter engine fire forces medical helicopter to make emergency landing at airport in Bucyrus (Ohio):
http://www.newsnet5.com/news/local-news/oh-cuyahoga/engine-fire-forced-cleveland-clinic-helicopter-to-make-emergency-landing

Quote: "Engine fire forced Cleveland Clinic helicopter to make emergency landing."

Note: That's about half a mile east (downwind) of the Little Scioto River. Those 'friendly skies' just aren't that friendly anymore...

2014-03-08 - Meiyu River ignites in coastal Wenzhou (China):
http://www.theepochtimes.com/n3/549834-polluted-river-catches-fire-in-china/

Note: Blamed on some factory's discharge, but the factory says the chemical wasn't flammable. This could be hydrogen sulfide and/or methane dissolved into the water (they're both water-soluble gases), making the WATER ITSELF flammable, like the various people who've demonstrated having flammable tapwater around the United States in the last coupla years. I mentioned a week or two back that the OCEANS may eventually catch fire, at least here and there, like where those 2.5 gigatons of methane clathrates are melting away off the US East Coast, or in the area of those 'gas springs' that Israeli scientists detected off the coast of Israel. Plenty of bogs and swamps and marshes and peat areas have burned, so burning waterways was the next logical step. Now the question is, which river/lake/pond will ignite next?

Quote: "Six fire engines from Tipton and surrounding stations were called to the recycling yard in Bloomfield Road at about 4pm on Sunday afternoon. They found giant storage bays of recyclable material on fire. Watch commander Neil Griffiths said: 'We found three bays alight, completely engulfed in flames.'"

2014-03-09 - Recycling facility erupts in flame, 3 sheds destroyed, in Bendigo (Australia):
http://www.bendigoadvertiser.com.au/story/2139595/fire-causes-extensive-damage-to-tip-sheds/

Note: From the full hypothesis: "Trash-related facilities such as recycling centers and landfills will burn hard too, as hydrogen sulfide is absorbed into flammable absorbent materials like wood, paper, cardboard, straw, hay, dried brush, generic trash, clothing, cotton, wool."

http://www.wickedlocal.com/article/20140311/NEWS/140319481

Quote: "An MBTA bus driver suffered a seizure while driving through Quincy Point over the weekend, prompting at least one passenger to help him stop the bus. At about 5 p.m. Saturday, a caller to the fire department reported that the driver of an MBTA bus had experienced a full-body seizure while driving on Washington Street, down the street from the Fore River Bridge, Deputy Fire Chief Ed Fenby said."

Note: A 'rotten egg' odor rolled in off the ocean in Quincy (Massachusetts) last year, as mentioned in the 2013-05-09 update. Shortly after that, a mysterious plane started buzzing the city at night, as mentioned in the 2013-05-10 update. Lotsa bad stuff has happened in this area: a boat burst into flame at a yacht club (2013-09-23); an SUV burst into flame while parked at home (2013-06-12); a dumpster burst into flame at a business (2013-04-11); a man dropped dead near his boat in Barnstable, near Quincy (2013-07-13); a firefighter, 37, dropped dead at a fire station (2013-07-08); a man burned to death in a car (2012-10-10); a sinkhole opened on Wompatuck Road (2013-08-07); and more...

Quote: "The city's fire chief, Joanne Hayes-White, tells local news outlets that this was the city's biggest fire in at least several years."

Quote: "The fire torched what was due to become a 360-unit apartment complex."

Quote: "The building is close to AT&T Park, the home of the San Francisco Giants baseball team."

Note: That's right down by the bay. This building is - er, WAS - part of a $250 million construction project. These fires are getting expensive. The day prior, a BILLION DOLLAR FIRE ripped through a Samsung electronics plant in South Korea, as mentioned in the 2014-03-10 update...

Quote: "One of the largest construction projects in Sydney could be set back months after a massive underground fire caused chaos in the CBD."

Note: So there's two freakishly gigantic fires burning up large buildings under construction right on coasts on the same day. From the full hypothesis: "So far as homes are concerned, vacant homes, unoccupied homes and homes under construction will burn hardest and first but the number of occupied homes burning will also be increasing." I guess I should have used the word 'structures' instead of 'homes', but you get the idea. Buildings under construction are inherently more vulnerable to a flammable atmosphere problem than completed, occupied, well-insulated buildings, so it's basically a race now to get structures completed before they're obliterated by fires and/or explosions. Obviously both of these construction projects lost the race...

Quote: "East Harlem residents reported hearing a large explosion in the six-story apartment building around 9:30 a.m. Fire was reported in the building, and the structural integrity appeared to be compromised. Witnesses reported seeing what appeared to be at least a partial roof collapse."

Quote: "An eighth body — that of a woman — was pulled from the blast site Thursday evening, authorities told 1010 WINS. That comes in addition to seven others confirmed dead, in the blast that also injured more than 60 others. An unspecified number of people were still missing."

Note: A couple of days prior, a huge explosion devastated a block of flats in Itzehoe (Germany), killing at least 4 people and injuring 15 more, as mentioned in the 2014-03-10 update. The same day, a housing estate exploded, injuring 13 people, in Turin (Italy). Homes and apartments have been exploding and burning at an escalating rate, and the casualty counts are growing...

Quote: "Authorities said the building is a total loss, including the millions of dollars of equipment inside."

Note: Basically like the various parking lot fires, except it was tractors and the parking lot was indoors this time. This is yet another way our food supply is being attacked. Lose enough tractors and crops don't get planted, even if they would grow. Lose enough tractor trailers and then even if crops get harvested, there'll be problems distributing the food. And even if the food makes it all that way, your own vehicle might still burst into flame on the way to or from the store...

Quote: "The garage was significantly damaged in the fire and a vehicle parked within was destroyed."

Note: All of those vehicles above ignited while parked, not running. Vehicles need not be running nor have been running recently in order to spontaneously ignite now. Hydrogen sulfide is reactive with copper, especially electrified copper, and rusty iron/steel. Any vehicle with a battery (most) or rust (virtually all) is thus at risk of igniting. This means that vehicles are now randomly igniting firebombs that can go off at any time. Park a vehicle near anything you don't want to see on fire - like other vehicles or your residence - at your own risk...

Just had that gigantic explosion that destroyed two buildings near the coast in New York City too. I'm starting to see why they put up new evacuation signs along the East Coast - they couldn't wait until people ARE evacuating, because then there'd be nobody to put up the signs. I don't think they know exactly WHEN it's going to be so bad that evacuations will become absolutely necessary, but it's not hard to see the writing on the wall...

Quote: "The incident happened at round 9.30pm at the Milner Royd Household Waste Recycling Site in Mearclough when a skip full of paper and cardboard caught fire. It is not known what caused the fire, which took around an hour to put out."

Note: This place is located right on the banks of the River Calder. From the full hypothesis: "Trash-related facilities such as recycling centers and landfills will burn hard too, as hydrogen sulfide is absorbed into flammable absorbent materials like wood, paper, cardboard, straw, hay, dried brush, generic trash, clothing, cotton, wool."

http://article.wn.com/view/2014/03/23/Fire_hits_Naga_CITY_garbage_dump/

Quote: "Firemen reported that methane deposits from the garbage piles caused the fire."

Note: Wouldn't doubt that. Probably some hydrogen sulfide mixed in there too, as the two gases go together, thus the various cities being plagued with hydrogen sulfide coming from landfills. I see why insurers are dropping coverage for recycling facilities and the like. Just too many fires nowadays.

2014-03-25 - Mammoth inferno destroys luxury apartment complex under construction in Montrose, Houston (Texas):

http://www.wsav.com/story/25069080/massive-fire-rips-through-texas-condo-building

Quote: "An entire apartment complex was gutted when a roaring fire raced through it on West Dallas in Montrose Tuesday afternoon. The fire started at 12:30 p.m. and quickly went to five alarms as the flames spread out of control."

Note: And here's yet another monstrous fire wiping out a project under construction. A virtually indentical fire recently destroyed a $250 million condo complex under construction on the coast in San Francisco (California), mentioned in the 2014-03-11 update. A huge underground fire broke out at a project under construction in coastal Sydney (Australia) too, setting them back by months at least, also mentioned in the 2014-03-11 update. From the full hypothesis: "So far as homes are concerned, vacant homes, unoccupied homes and homes under construction will burn hardest and first but the number of occupied homes burning will also be increasing." I should have used the word 'structures' instead of 'homes', but you get the idea. Buildings under construction are simply far more vulnerable to the atmospheric hydrogen sulfide and methane contamination problem than completed, well-insulated buildings, so it's now a race to get things built before they get wiped out by fires and/or explosions. Increasingly, we are losing that race...

Quote: "A major fire devoured thousands stalls in a market in Guatemala's capital Tuesday, state media reported. Authorities haven't determined what caused the fire, which broke out around 2:30 a.m. in La Terminal market in Guatemala City. The fire destroyed approximately 6,000 stalls in the market, the state-run AGN news agency reported."

Quote: "There was a stampede late on Tuesday as fire razed the Broad Street, Marina, Lagos office of Central Bank of Nigeria. A yet to be identified firefighter from the Lagos State Fire and Emergency service suffocated and became unconscious and was rushed to the hospital."

Note: Some mind-blowingly humongous fires on this day. Things are seriously escalating now. Tick-tock, tick-tock, running out of time. People might wanna wake up before they lose the ability to wake up forever...

Quote: "Debbie and Dan Gosche are among the victims. 'We keep it undercover there so it's protected,' said Dan. 'Didn't work out so well.'"

Note: With all the vehicles of all kinds spontaneously igniting now, these places are increasingly dangerous places to park your vehicle, because if ANY of the vehicles has any rust on it or any electrified copper (e.g. a battery) then ALL of the vehicles might end up being destroyed when fire breaks out...

'There was a large bang and flames which grew and grew and large chunks of what looked like chunks of red-hot metal started flying up,' he said. 'People started freaking out.' He added: 'In about 20 seconds we would have been in the air.'"

Note: And here's yet another plane being hit by explosion and/or fire. Such events are obviously escalating. Those 'friendly skies' are getting less friendly all the time...

2014-03-28 - Rolls-Royce plant damaged by explosion after nitric acid spill, in Indianapolis (Indiana), 9 injured:

Quote: "Rolls-Royce Plant 5, located at 2355 S. Tibbs Ave., was evacuated after an explosion was reported around 1:30 p.m. Officials said a 250-gallon nitric acid tank leaked, causing the explosion."

Note: Hydrogen sulfide is explosively reactive with nitric acid. Nitric acid has a flammability index of 0 (like water) and by itself is not flammable and does not explode. Expose it to air containing any hydrogen sulfide though and...boom! This is by no means the first mysterious nitric acid explosion and/or fire to occur and there will be more...

2014-03-29 - Vacant home destroyed by explosion and fire at 4:30 AM in St. Joseph (Missouri), third such fire in a week:

http://www.firehouse.com/news/11363212/mo-officials-prove-string-of-suspicious-fires-in-midtown

Quote: "For the third time in a week, fire erupted in a vacant structure early Saturday, scaring Midtown neighbors and scrambling multiple fire units. 'I heard a muffled boom,' said Richard Watkins, who lives on North 16th Street. Mr. Watkins got up, went out onto his back deck, and all he could see was smoke. That was about 4:30 a.m. 'I went back inside and walked out front, where I saw flames and called 911,' he said."

Quote: "A fire also started with a small boom on Mount Mora Road last Saturday, causing $40,000 in damage, but no cause has been determined. A suspicious fire Tuesday on Buchanan Avenue destroyed another structure. All three fires in the past week have involved empty houses."

Note: He had some gasoline stored in the house. This could be the work of the Ghostly Match again, serving as the igniter for other volatile fumes in the air. It sounds basically like a larger version of the incident where an explosion and fire killed a man at a gas station in Danbury (Connecticut), mentioned in the 2014-01-22 update, and also similar to the mother and son who were incinerated at a gas station in Mehu (India), mentioned in the 2013-12-18 update.

http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/thunder-bay/possible-explosion-injures-thunder-bay-man-1.2591829

Note: Clearly homes are getting more 'splodey. Businesses too, for that matter. Once the methane hydrates really get gushing, things are gonna be crrrazy, like living in a warzone, with fires all over, buildings exploding, strange smells and people dropping dead and going crazy, that kinda stuff. This actually IS a war. It's just not one like the human race has ever faced before, but we have no choice but to face it, except to pretend it isn't happening until we're dead. Seems like that's the current plan...
