Event Update For 2014-03-18

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

Category: Unusual Vehicular Accidents
2014-03-18 - News helicopter crashes into cars, explodes and burns, in coastal Seattle (Washington), 2 killed, 1 injured:
Quote: "The helicopter exploded into a fireball on impact. Huge flames and thick plumes of black smoke poured from the blazing wreckage, about 50 yards from the base of the Space Needle. Fuel gushing from the wreckage caught fire and burned for a block from the crash scene. Secondary explosions continued for several minutes afterward. 'Not only were the cars on fire, the fuel running down the street was on fire,' Moore said."
2014-03-18 - Small plane crashes near coastal Georgetown (Guyana), 3 seriously injured:
Quote: "Two other small planes have crashed in Guyana in recent weeks."

2014-03-18 - Small plane crashes in field in Wichita Falls (Texas), engine failure:
Note: Fly the friendly skies! (But I'm staying here on the ground myself, because those skies just don't look too terribly friendly to me.)

2014-03-18 - Vacation home destroyed by explosion and fire at 4 AM on Intermediate Lake Drive in Central Lake (Michigan):

2014-03-18 - Home destroyed by explosion and fire in Mount Morris Township (Michigan):

Note: I checked to make sure the above two home explosions weren't the same event (I don't know Michigan very well). They were different homes exploding, about 180 miles from each other. A home exploded and burned in Michigan the day prior too, in Coldwater, as mentioned in the 2014-03-17 update, so that makes at least three homes exploding in Michigan in two days...

2014-03-18 - Laundry room explodes at block of flats in Derby (Britain):

2014-03-18 - RV damaged by apparent propane explosion near coastal Lacey (Washington), 2 injured:

Quote: "The preliminary investigation indicated that there was either an open propane line or a leak in the tank that caused it to explode when someone tried to light a cigarette, he said."

Note: Could be, but they can't rule out some flammable methane and hydrogen sulfide blowing by and causing an explosion, just like all those 'mysterious explosions' shaking homes around the world in the last coupla years. Well, maybe they COULD rule that out if they weren't ignorant of what's happening, but since they are, they didn't...

2014-03-18 - Mysterious explosion rocks Bladen County (North Carolina), no cause found:

2014-03-18 - Underground electrical explosion and fire blows up manholes and sidewalk in Walthamstow (Britain):

Quote: "Large blocks of concrete were blown into the air and Coral Baker said she feared the worst. 'I thought it was a bomb,' the 72-year-old added. 'I heard a loud boom and all the lights went out and the debris and pavement bricks were all across the road.'"

Note: Just think what would have happened if someone had been standing in the wrong place - legs might've been blown off. I wouldn't be walking near any manholes or grates these days. Walthamstow is a suburb in coastal London and is just east (downwind) of the River Lea and at least nine reservoirs...

2014-03-18 - Underground landfill fire closer to nuclear waste than originally thought, in Bridgeton (Missouri):

Quote: "Preliminary tests by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency have found radioactive waste closer to the underground fire at the Bridgeton Landfill than previously thought."

2014-03-18 - Electrical wire explodes and burns, ignites brush fire, in Allen Township (Pennsylvania):

Quote: "The power and odor of the Allen Township blast could be felt a quarter of a mile away."

Quote: "The fire severely damaged a third of the upper decks and contents of the static boat used as a restaurant, with moderate smoke damage to the rest of the boat."

2014-03-18 - Four buses go up in flames while parked at pub in coastal Penyrheol (Britain):

Quote: "South Wales Fire and Rescue Service said the fire was deliberate."

Note: Ah, so they SAY it was deliberate. Obviously that doesn't mean it WAS deliberate. Did any of the buses have any electrified copper or rust in/on them? Oh, they all did. Did the investigators rule out hydrogen sulfide as the cause then? No, they didn't. Have they shown anyone on surveillance video? (This is Britain!) No, they haven't presented any evidence of any kind that people were involved with these buses burning. This looks like just another pile of parked vehicles spontaneously igniting to me. Absent evidence of people being involved, I'm not making any assumptions, not with all the OTHER parked vehicles spontaneously igniting all over the planet on a daily basis now, a fact about which these people are clearly ignorant, despite fires being, you know, THEIR JOB. This place is just east (downwind) of the River Loughor, which leads to the ocean...

2014-03-18 - Six vehicles burst into flame in the wee hours in Maharashtra (India), miscreants blamed:

Quote: "The miscreants had escaped the area before police could arrive."

Note: So nobody actually SAW any miscreants, so it's nothing but an assumption that there actually WERE any. Used to be, investigators didn't make assumptions like this. Alas, it appears that they don't make competent investigators anymore. And sorry, I need to see some actual evidence, a witness, a motive, surveillance video, forensic evidence, something, else this just looks like more parked vehicles spontaneously igniting in the wee hours...

2014-03-18 - Tanker truck bursts into flame on road near Spencer (New York):

Quote: "'When we got here, the fire had been contained to the cab,' said Assistant Chief Barbara Fudge. 'The first trucks on scene, Breesport and Erin, made a real good stop. It didn't get to the tank.'"

Note: In this town, if you've got a fire then you want Fudge!

According to Presque Isle Deputy Fire Chief Rich Wark, the incident took place at approximately 8:30 a.m. The Presque Isle Fire Department was dispatched to the scene after a caller reported that he was the driver of the delivery truck and had been filling a tank outside a residence when fire erupted and engulfed the top of the tank. Because of the drill, the tunnel will be closed to drivers during those hours. The exercise, developed in 2012, was created to test responders on how well they can communicate back-and-forth in times of distress, and how they can work together to diffuse a serious situation with limited resources at hand. The Sumner Tunnel is a long stretch of underground roadway that leaves people inside of it with limited options to get out."

Note: Can't argue with this training...

  1. Hi Jonny, potential story:

And, many thanks for all you're doing! PeterC

  2. Jonny:

We were just discussing the rarity of large (electrical) infrastructure fires yesterday and here's one today in my state! [it wasn't on any news I saw, that's why I come here!]

    [cue Twilight Zone music]

The Miley Cyrus bus incident is explained by the Holy Roller community as God's punishment for her wicked ways! "So who's right - chew oar GYAD!" the Rev. Fullerton O'Shidt commented as I brought up increasing quantities of volatile gases in the environment as a possible cause.

Note: In this town, if you've got a fire then you want Fudge! hilarious, dude - sick

Talk about a risky job! Freaking fuel delivery - especially propane - oh man, no way! That guy was so lucky (I guess) - those tanks have high pressure valves that won't let anything escape and has to be filled with a pressurized hose. So it probably wasn't the propane (or maybe just a bit) but the hose nozzles and part they fit into on the tanks are COPPER or copper/steel mix. "An' 'ees down air in a holla . . "

Aluminum dust bursting into flame - how do they explain THAT?

Sinkholes all over the place. Fracking ain't helping.
