Event Update For 2013-12-21

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

2013-12-21 - Explosion damages structure on Rutrough Road in Roanoke (Virginia), 1 injured:

Quote: "Police say upon arrival, they found someone burnt from the explosion. That person was taken to Carilion Roanoke Memorial, but was then been transferred to Wake Forest Medical Center with serious injuries. Police are not releasing that person's name at this time. Police did say the explosion was limited to one structure."

Note: It was probably a home. I used Google Street View (which is pretty handy sometimes) and looked around and there are a few rural homes and a pond along that road in the 2600 block, didn't see anything else except detached garages next to some of the homes...

2013-12-21 - Train engine bursts into flame at 3:30 AM along the Champlain Canal near Kingsbury (New York):

Quote: "A freight train running on the line along the Champlain Canal was disabled early Saturday when an engine caught fire, and the disabled train was blocking Route 149 in Smiths Basin as of 6 a.m. The 100-plus car train was stopped around 3:30 a.m. after a fire in one of the engines..."

Note: A train engine burst into flame at 3 AM the day prior, in the Island Lakes area (Canada), as mentioned in the 2013-12-20 update. Trains aren't that different from standard passenger vehicles. Since more passenger vehicles are going up in flames, you'd expect to see more trains catching fire too, and they are...

Quote: "She said it was her 2003 Ford Windstar that somehow caught fire, and that it was parked in front of her husband’s Ford Econline Van, which was also destroyed by fire."

Note: Another parked vehicle spontaneously igniting and destroying a home. If it weren't for a Good Samaritan man who alerted them, they might have all died. All vehicles are now randomly-igniting firebombs that can go off at any time, so you're seriously gambling if you park a vehicle near your residence...

Note: No evidence of people being involved in setting this fire, but because it was a parked car, that's their assumption. They need to revise their assumptions to better fit reality, seeing as parked vehicles are spontaneously igniting all over the place and have been for some time now...

2013-12-21 - Car bursts into flame on Denmark Road in Lowestoft (Britain):

2013-12-21 - Car bursts into flame while parked on Manor Place in Keinton Mandeville, Somerton (Britain):

2013-12-21 - Two sewer workers collapse and die inside sewer in Jinja (Uganda):

Quote: "One of the victims, Atube, went down the 15-metre-deep manhole and suffocated inside, he said. Then the other, Mugoda, took a descent the same route to try and rescue his colleague, but he too suffocated to death."

Note: Jinja is located on the shore of Lake Victoria. This was highly likely caused by hydrogen sulfide, commonly known as 'sewer gas'. And hydrogen sulfide events frequently end up like this, where one person succumbs then someone else tries to help and they succumb too...

2013-12-21 - Man's charred corpse found in burning vehicle at 1:48 AM in driveway at home in Barnesville (Minnesota):

Quote: "After putting out the blaze, firefighters discovered the body in the driver’s seat of the vehicle. Though they don’t suspect anything other than an accident, the case is still being investigated by the state fire marshal’s office."

Note: Sure are a lot of people accidentally burning to death in vehicles these days. From the full hypothesis: "Vehicles of all kinds will continue to burn, as they have been, and the number of vehicular fires will continue to escalate, inevitably resulting in a corresponding increase in the number of people being incinerated in their vehicles."

2013-12-21 - Trucker, 59, dies while driving, tractor trailer veers into median, in LaGrange County (Indiana):

2013-12-21 - Passenger bus loses brakes, hits tree, in coastal Pintuyan (Philippine Islands), 54 injured:

Quote: "Initial investigation of the Philippine National Police (PNP) in Pintuyan showed that the bus had trouble with its brake system, causing the driver to crash the vehicle into a tree in a saddle point in Barangay Son-ok at around 2:30 p.m."

Note: Tire rubber and brake pads are absorbing hydrogen sulfide. Then when brakes are applied, an unusual amount of heat is generated, since hydrogen sulfide burns very hot. Then bad things can happen: tires explode or ignite, brakes burn out or ignite, fluid lines rupture, the entire vehicle goes up in flames, or all of the above. This problem affects massive vehicles - like buses - the worst, but no vehicle is immune. Trees and buildings are becoming our 'brakes of last resort'...
