The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Well the vaccine probably saved my step mother's life. She is in her 60s and has several comorbidities including a weak immune system. She caught the Delta variant a month ago and I expected that she'd end up in the hospital. But she didn't. She was quite I'll, but was able to overcome it at home. With her condition I have no doubt that she would've ended up in the ICU, and probably worse if unvaccinated. Quite a few outspoken anti vaxxers such as yourself are now dead. ....and hot off the press yet another set of outspoken anti-vaxxers have died of COVID. Not very old either. A married couple who had some sort of hobby reality show where they also proclaimed their anti vaxx propaganda. Both downplayed the severity of COVID. They leave behind children. Yeah.

Just to show how wacky and out of control the anti-vaxx nonsense can get these days, I found out from my state representative that the GOP has a bill drawn up and ready to go in a 4th unprecedented special session this year to get rid of ALL vaccine mandates in Texas. I understand this is also set to happen in Florida as well. Both governors are in a competition to see who can suck up to the anti-science Trumptards the most. Both have presidential designs and they know that in order to win a GOP primary you have to prove that you are an extreme knuckleheaded idiot, because that is today's GOP. Thank God my grandfather didn't live to see this happen to his party.
ReplyDeleteSo, if passed that means that more and more children entering school will not be inoculated against Measles, Rubella, Small Pox, Polio, Whooping Cough, Scarlet Fever, Etc... Unbelievable that in the 21st century a very large segment of the population is turning against a medical technology that has significantly diminished many of the above diseases. Diseases that used to kill or cripple children regularly prior to the mid 20th century. If it didn't kill them it made them very miserable.
Yes, extinction is on our plate. But I still rather that people not go out suffering if at all possible. You can't get rid of all suffering. But there are some forms of suffering that can be prevented. Why not utilize them?

But.....I am under no illusion that it is likely to dissuade today's current crop of fools. (See, I utilize the vinegar approach myself, but I've lost patience with these people).
