Event Update For 2021-06-26

http://jumpingjackflashhypothesis.blogspot.com/2012/02/jumping-jack-flash-hypothesis-its-gas.html

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

  1. Magnificent Monday Jonny, Fran, Mike D., Tom N., LL, Terry, FezzedOne and Panther (and anyone else reading JJFH).

The next few days will be in the 90's around here (s/e PA) - a/c runnin' nonstop (glad it still works). The evenings are great for outdoor dining/listening to live music, with light breezes and soft sunlight til ~ 9 pm.

Meanwhile the destruction and death continue. That boat with 20 dead floating in the Caribbean is surely a JJFH incident. Further down another person had a "medical issue" on a ferry in Britain. The top of the page says H2S is (continuously now) belching from the ocean, so these incidents are to be expected.

Rogue elephant kills 16 people over 2 months in Jharkhand, India
    https://www.sott.net/article/454776-Rogue-elephant-kills-16-people-over-2-months-in-Jharkhand-India

A rogue elephant has killed at least 16 villagers in the past two months in central India after likely being expelled from his herd "for bad behaviour", a wildlife official said Thursday.

The mature male, believed to be 15 or 16 years old, has been on the rampage in the tribal Santhal Pargana region of Jharkhand state ever since he was separated from the herd of 22 elephants.

The elephant, which is now on its way back seeking to reunite with the herd, has managed to outwit officials with his sheer speed and unpredictability.

In recent years there have been rising incidents of elephants killed by locals — and vice-versa — as humans encroach further into forest areas. [more; 2 min. minor for encroachment!]

    https://news.yahoo.com/air-force-weapon-hundreds-drones-130000477.html

The U.S. Air Force unveiled a weapon this month designed to take out hundreds of drones at once with barely a sound.

The Tactical High Power Operational Responder uses a beam of energy to scramble the electronics inside hundreds of drones at once.

Russia launches largest submarine in 30 years
    https://news.yahoo.com/russia-launches-largest-submarine-built-113608362.html

Russia has tested a giant new nuclear submarine in open waters for the first time, just days after a tense standoff in the Black Sea with Britain involving a Royal Navy destroyer.

The ‘Belgorod’, believed to be the largest submarine developed anywhere in the world in 30 years, was trialled in the White Sea over the weekend, according to Russian state media.

Once approved for use, the vessel will be capable of launching nuclear strikes with six intercontinental ‘Poseidon’ torpedoes.

It will also act as a mothership for smaller, deep-diving submarines with robotic arms that can tamper with or even cut vital cables that lie on the seafloor.

Russia also said at the weekend it was monitoring the American missile destroyer USS Ross, which entered the Black Sea on Saturday. [more]

Heatwaves and the danger of the Arctic Ocean heating up
    https://arctic-news.blogspot.com/2021/06/heatwaves-and-the-danger-of-the-arctic-ocean-heating-up.html

Heatwaves are increasingly hitting higher latitudes, as illustrated by the forecasts below. The background behind this is that the temperature rise caused by people's emissions is also causing changes to the jet streams.

This illustrates how a more wavy jet stream can enable high temperatures to rise to higher latitudes, while holding a pattern in place for several days, thus pushing up temperatures over time in the area.

The danger of the temperature rise of the Arctic Ocean is that it can cause destabilization of hydrates at its seafloor, resulting in eruption of huge amounts of methane from hydrates and from free gas underneath the hydrates.

A mini-tornado has blown a farm in Houffalize: impressive images
    https://new.in-24.com/News/46050.html

A mini-tornado in particular blew a farm in the province of Luxembourg.

In the hamlet of Bernistap in Houffalize, the square farmhouse-castle, well known in the region, paid the price. Its roofs did not withstand the strong winds. Help intervened and the inhabitants were relocated with relatives. There were no injuries, the damage being concentrated in the same area.

In the town cemetery, significant damage was caused to part of the graves.

Another piece of roof was torn off at Buret, still in Houffalize. Trees and tiles also fell on the side of Cetturu and Tavigny. In Namur,
the firefighters intervened on the side of Ohey and Andenne for mudslides and flooded cellars.

On the Liège side, lightning triggered a fire behind a house on rue d’Othée in Ans. In Flanders, it was mainly the firefighters of East Limburg who were called upon mainly for floods. [more]
