Event Update For 2019-10-13

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

http://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=10157228124180081&id=157106350080

Quote: "When Peronne and her team arrived, she said they found 12 beached Western Gulls on the high tide line mixed up with seaweed."

Quote: "Whatever caused the gulls to get sick, Peronne said, it must have paralyzed them because sand was packed near their eyes and other areas of the body, she added. 'They definitely got tumbled, without being able to move,' Peronne said. 'They were tumbled in the waves numerous times for those types of things to occur.' The Care Center took the birds and immediately treated the four surviving ones. One died the same day, but the other three appear to be doing much better, Peronne said."

Note: Rotting seaweed releases hydrogen sulfide, a deadly toxin. Massive Sargassum algae blooms stretching from Africa to Mexico have caused that problem in numerous areas in Florida, Mexico and across the Caribbean. Rotting algae has been releasing hydrogen sulfide and killing animals and people on the Brittany Coast in France too, right across the English Channel from a beach in Britain where dozens of people were recently sickened by an unknown poison gas blowing in off the ocean...

2019-10-13 - Ducks and turtles die along canal in Arattupuzha (India):

http://english.mathrubhumi.com/news/offbeat/hundreds-of-ducks-found-dead-in-arattupuzha-reason-still-unkown-1.4193186

Quote: "In Arattupuzha, hundreds of ducks were found dead. Domesticated ducks from various houses died in the area. Although the ducks were given medication prescribed by a veterinary hospital, the deaths couldn't be prevented. Ducks that have been let into the canal are showing symptoms of the disease and die. The locals have also reported many tortoises being found dead in and around the canal. However, it cannot be established that the canal water has been poisoned as fishes in the canal are still healthy."

Note: Maybe it was the AIR that was poisoned along the canal, not the water. The ducks and turtles breathe air and they died. The fish, which breathe water, are okay. Canals and other bodies of water are located in low-lying areas, which is where heavier-than-air hydrogen sulfide will tend to accumulate when not being blown onward by the wind. It's also water-soluble, so even if those fish are okay now, they may not stay that way...

  1. Hey Jonny, everyone.

i'm getting tired of Kevin's Black Bear News videos. He keeps thinking there's a political solution, that all this activism is going to do something, and now he's ho-humming the most recent Arctic News post that came out late yesterday (so of course i missed it), worrying more about his phony 'gas strike' and how lucky he was to just get by on the tank of gas he filled up on, on Thursday. He does cover some good climate change and environmental news, though.

  3. Plains Snowstorm Breaks Records, Kills Crops
    https://www.yahoo.com/finance/news/plains-snowstorm-breaks-records-kills-214810195.html

Winter came early and with a vengeance in the northern Plains this year. A record-setting snowstorm slammed the Dakotas and western Minnesota for three days last week, in mid-October, before fading over the weekend. North Dakota got hit the hardest. It was a storm that will be hard for many people to forget.

"I'm expecting massive crop losses – as devastating as we've ever seen," said Jon Nelson, a state lawmaker who farms several hundred acres near Rugby in north-central North Dakota.

Unharvested wheat in the region probably will be a total loss, he told the Associated Press.

"A lot of the standing stuff is flattened to the ground," Nelson added. "It's shot and some guys are putting their combines away and won't bring them out again."

Erika Kenner, who ranches with her parents in Leeds, North Dakota, said she felt helpless Friday as she was unable to check on the family's herd of several hundred cows due to deep, drifting snow.

"I just hear the wind howling and think of those poor cows out there," Kenner said. "Cattle are tough but this kind of weather just wears on them."

It's too early to tell just how much the storm will cost growers across the region or how crop losses may affect truckload volume down the road. But Gov. Burgum said North Dakota was "exploring all possible means to assist the agricultural community," which was already facing a challenging season because of an "unusually wet late summer and early fall" that caused disease and prevented farmers from harvesting crops. Uh, is it just me, or do any of you also feel like everything is collapsing as we watch? People are beginning to lose it, the governments of the world are looking on as we melt down from climate change (ok, AND Grand Solar Minimum, AND Chemtrails, AND radiation, AND on and on). Food shortages are on our (the U.S.) doorstep now. Things are going to once again speed up in the negative direction. Expect anything at any time now.

  6. Yeah, things do seem to be getting worse at an accelerating rate! It amazes me that most people don't seem to notice, but then again, most people are too distracted/busy with their immediate area and lives to notice much of anything beyond that.

  7. Deadly Typhoon Hagibis packed devastating punch in Japan with record rainfall totals – 2,667 bags of Fukushima waste leaked

Numerous levees failed, and at one point, the government advised nearly 8 million people to evacuate, Denyer reported.

Severe flooding occurred in Nagano, Japan, the site of the 1998 Winter Olympics, where waters from the overflowing Chikuma River damaged a fleet of high-speed bullet trains that had been parked in a maintenance rail depot.

In Hakone, in Kanagawa Prefecture, 37.1 inches of rain fell in 24 hours on Saturday, setting a record for that location, according to the Japan Meteorological Agency. In addition, 27 inches fell in heavily forested Shizuoka Prefecture southwest of Tokyo. In higher elevations just west of downtown Tokyo, 23.6 inches of rain fell, which was also a record.

Climate studies suggest the Japanese archipelago could see more frequent and stronger typhoons in the future, due in large part to warming seas as a result of human-caused global warming. There is evidence showing tropical cyclones in the Northwest Pacific Ocean Basin are reaching their maximum intensities farther north than they used to, a trend some scientists attribute in part to climate change.

So, yeah - too soggy in the Plains and a "flash drought" in the East, things are getting serious on the grain growing front/crop growing/herd producing fronts.

We're supposed to get an inch or so of rain mainly tomorrow, which will help.

The Orionids, one of the 'top 5 meteor showers of the year,' will peak early next week

[after humanity is all gone, will they still be wonderful?]

"This shower will be best viewed after midnight," Samuhel said. "If you can spot Orion, then get ready for some meteors."

This is because the shower's radiant point, or point of origin, is located near the constellation Orion which doesn't rise until after 11 p.m. local time. The higher the radiant point is in the sky, the higher the hourly rates of meteors per hour.

onlookers do not need to look at the radiant point to see meteors as they will appear in all areas of the sky. [more]

Wildfires spread through parts of Lebanon on Tuesday after forcing some residents to flee their homes in the middle of the night, while others were stuck inside as the flames reached villages south of Beirut, authorities said.

A heat wave in the region coupled with strong winds intensified the fires that began a day earlier in mostly pine forests around the country and three provinces in neighboring Syria. There were no reports of fatalities from the fires — among the worst to hit Lebanon in years. [more]
