Event Update For 2019-06-10

http://jumpingjackflashhypothesis.blogspot.com/2012/02/jumping-jack-flash-hypothesis-its-gas.html

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

2019-06-10 - Near-record dead zone predicted in the Gulf of Mexico:

http://www.cnet.com/news/gulf-of-mexico-dead-zone-could-explode-to-the-size-of-massachusetts/

Quote: "Based on current conditions, some scientists think that the Gulf of Mexico will experience the second-largest dead zone on record in July. Louisiana State University scientists predict that 8,717 square miles of bad water will be at the bottom of the continental shelf off Louisiana and Texas, making it about the same size as the state of New Jersey. The largest one was in 2017, at 8,776 square miles."

Note: So the record for the largest dead zone in the Gulf of Mexico was set waaaay back in...2017. Dead zones have been spreading across the oceans of the Earth for decades now. That should have been a pretty big clue that a planetary extinction event similar to or identical to the Great Dying was under way...

2019-06-10 - Record-shattering heatwave broils Southern California, nearly 240 wildfires break out in a week across the state:

2019-06-10 - Heatwave and water scarcity in India trigger clashes over water, fights and stabbings ensue:
http://www.dw.com/en/india-heat-wave-triggers-clashes-over-water/a-49110943
http://www.taiwannews.com.tw/en/news/3719969

Quote: "Police were tasked with guarding water tankers and water sources in Madhya Pradesh state in central India, the Times of India reported on Saturday, following clashes over water in the state and other parts of the country. Temperatures in India reached 50.3 degrees Celsius (122.54 Fahrenheit) last week, nearing the record high of 51 degrees Celsius set in 2016. Authorities have been distributing water to areas most affected by the heatwave, but the scarcity of water has prompted fights and stabbings at relief points."

Note: Sure doesn't take long for civilization to start breaking down when the water supply dries up! I wonder if in the future we'll see the water version of cannibals, people killing people to harvest their bodies for their considerable water content. Drought ghouls! Also, I just said three days ago, after some monkeys were fighting over water in India, in the 2019-06-07 update, that we should watch how monkey-like WE behave when water gets scarce, and here we go!

  1. Ok - late start today. As long as civilization still lumbers on, ya gotta take care of BIZ!

Man, "normal" activities are sure becoming DEADLY. Look at that list! Walking around your neighborhood, swimming or diving, "hell, even bein' AROUN' water ye' kid jis keel ova!"
Flying is becoming more problematic as we continue along. Driving is gettin' NUTS! And shit is just EXPLODING, with no reason ever given.

Always exciting to see our local infrastructure goin' up in flames. That refinery fire led to a protest by the local community asking BASIC QUESTIONS - What chemicals were on fire; why wasn't anyone notified? and more. They go to the mayor and their local council people - who are part of the problem - and of course get the Philly shuffle until they run out of energy or give up in frustration. "Eitha way, dey live in a 'sacrifice zone' so, ya know, what can ya do, seedum sane?"

Nearly 300 000 people living in the path of Tropical Cyclone "Vayu" are set to be evacuated to 700 shelter homes, India's Home Ministry said Wednesday, June 12, 2019. Vayu is expected to cross Gujarat coast between Porbandar and Mahuva, around Veraval and Diu region, as a Very Severe Cyclonic Storm with wind speeds between 145 and 155 km/h (90 - 86 mph) and gusts to 170 km/h (105 mph) on the morning of June 13 (local time).

Tropical cyclones of this strength are rare for the region.

If the forecast verifies, this will be the strongest tropical cyclone to hit NW India since June 9, 1998, when 10 000 people lost their lives. [more]

700 Quakes Hit A Key California Seismic Zone, And Tar Is Literally Bubbling Up Through The Streets Of Los Angeles

Scientists are quite “concerned” about the huge earthquake swarm that has been shaking southern California in recent weeks, and right at this moment bubbling tar is literally coming up through the streets in one section of Los Angeles. None of this means that a major seismic event is imminent, but it is certainly not a good sign either. [more]

The Latest on the Threat for Abrupt Methane Release from the
    East Siberian Sea
    http://robinwestenra.blogspot.com/2019/06/the-methane-clathrate-gun.html [Nicholas Humphrey]

"Releases could potentially increase by 3–5 orders of magnitude, considering the sheer amount of CH4 preserved within the shallow ESAS seabed deposits and the documented thawing rates of subsea permafrost reported recently".

If you assume the current emissions rate averaged at 13 Tg/yr, that would mean abrupt releases 13,000 to 1,300,000 Tg/yr. 13 to 1300 gigatons. Basically they're making a case that the destruction of the subsea permafrost will lead to catastrophic releases of nearly all the gas (over years, not decades or nearly all at once) once the permafrost has become sufficiently weakened. 5. They finally found the woman's body this morning at 6:23 AM. Here in central Texas that is just barely after sunrise and it is not full light yet.

They did not find the kayak. Said it was "blown away" in the storm's wind which gusted up to 48 mph according to a nearby station.

Are you suspecting what I'm suspecting given these two facts? They searched for the body and kayak before light. Claim that the kayak is gone. Hmmmmmmmm....

    2. I was stepping way out on a limb of high octane speculation that the kayak caught on fire before the storm hit, and that would be why they don't want anyone to see it.

Boats burst into flame somewhere everyday after all. But a kayak has no engine or electrical wiring so my speculation probably ends up snapping that limb.

      Delete
    3. Ah, yes, I see. And that would explain the pre-dawn body searching. (Which seems pretty weird if you ask me - isn't it easier to spot bodies when it's not night?) Also, as you pointed out, 48 MPH winds don't blow kayaks away.

      Delete
    4. Also, a woman burst into flame while sitting on a beachside park bench in northern Germany. Sitting on a kayak on a lake isn't that different.

      Delete
    5. And they had the entire lake access closed to the public for 2 and a half days. I bet they found the kayak first while it was dark and got it outta there while it was still dark. What was left of it anyway.

There have been at least 2 prior JJFH events on this lake over the past year or so.

      Delete
    6. The other two JJFH events - did they close the lake down for that long? Seems like a long time to do that, especially in June. And doing everything under cloak of darkness is suspicious. That's how they did the cleanup when the flock of birds dropped dead across the street from me. Sent a cleanup crew and a street sweeper by at 3 AM (!) so that by sunrise everything looked normal, nothing to see here, move along.

    7. I don't remember if the lake was closed for the others. You reported them. They were swimmers.
