Event Update For 2016-03-27

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

  1. Hey Jonny! This comprehensive report indicates that environmental incidents are getting larger - more volcanic action (as per MISA), more gas spreading around and causing fires and explosions (not to mention that planes are having an increasingly hard time staying aloft and landing without problems), people of all ages keeling over doing (previously) normal activities, more vehicle fires and accidents, residences and buildings exploding and burning, peat, bog, marsh, gorse (etc) fires popping up all over, animals and insects becoming aggressive, and people suddenly acting completely out of character (if not simply dropping dead) - it just goes on and on.

More on New Zealand's disappearing glaciers

    From Kevin Hester:

How is this for a positive feed back loop? "

“I guess you could say global warming is having a positive effect for Glacier Explorers,” Mr. Ward said the number of his annual customers had soared in the last six years, to 25,000 from 7,000, primarily because tourists want to see icebergs break off the glacier and fall into the lake."

    How macabre!

People wanting to watch the demise of the glaciers brings more tourists who now can't walk to the glacier so must use a chopper burning high octane jet fuel and depositing exhaust soot on the glacier thus reducing the albido effect.

Corporate Debt Defaults Explode To Catastrophic Levels Not Seen Since The Last Financial Crisis

If a new financial crisis had already begun, we would expect to see corporate debt defaults skyrocket, and that is precisely what is happening. As you will see below, corporate defaults are currently at the highest level that we have seen since 2009. A wave of bankruptcies is sweeping the energy industry, but it isn’t just the energy industry that is in trouble. In fact, the average credit rating for U.S. corporations is now lower than it was at any point during the last recession. This is yet another sign that we are in the early chapters of a major league economic crisis.

  2. Had to drop this in. Check it out Jonny.

Wild Elephants gather inexplicably, mourn death of “Elephant Whisperer”

Author and legendary conservationist Lawrence Anthony died March 2. His family spoke of a solemn procession of Elephants that defies human explanation.

For 12 hours, two herds of wild South African elephants slowly made their way through the Zululand bush until they reached the house of late author Lawrence Anthony, the conservationist who saved their lives. The formerly violent, rogue elephants, destined to be shot a few years ago as pests, were rescued and rehabilitated by Anthony, who had grown up in the bush and was known as the “Elephant Whisperer.”

For two days the herds loitered at Anthony’s rural compound on the vast Thula Thula game reserve in the South African KwaZulu – to say good-bye to the man they loved. But how did they know he had died? Known for his unique ability to calm traumatized elephants, Anthony had become a legend. He is the author of three books, Babylon Ark, detailing his efforts to rescue the animals at Baghdad Zoo during the Iraqi war, the forthcoming The Last Rhinos, and his bestselling The Elephant Whisperer.

There are two elephant herds at Thula Thula. According to his son Dylan, both arrived at the Anthony family compound shortly after Anthony’s death.“They had not visited the house for a year and a half and it must have taken them about 12 hours to make the journey,” Dylan is quoted in various local news accounts. “The first herd arrived on Sunday and the second herd, a day later. They all hung around for about two days before making their way back into the bush.”Elephants have long been known to mourn their dead. In India, baby elephants often are raised with a boy who will be their lifelong “mahout.” The pair develop legendary bonds – and it is not
uncommon for one to waste away without a will to live after the death of the other. [more + video]

  3. Wow, that is incredible! So not only did at least one of them know that their human friend had died (very complex thought process there), but that elephant had to be able to communicate that event to other elephants AND the other elephants had to care enough themselves to make that 12-hour journey. Elephants are smart!

  4. Yeah, and we know it doesn't work the other way around - you don't see many people making the trek to where the elephants live except to slaughter them for their tusks. Humans are awful and have wrecked the whole planet.
