Event Update For 2020-12-09

http://jumpingjackflashhypothesis.blogspot.com/2012/02/jumping-jack-flash-hypothesis-its-gas.html

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

2020-12-09 - Scientists to continue studying the dissociating methane hydrates along the East Siberian Arctic Shelf:
http://tass.com/science/1233221

Quote: "The scientists, who in 2020 participated in an expedition onboard the Akademik Mstislav Keldysh research-survey vessel, plan to continue studies of methane emissions, which emerge in Russia’s Arctic seas due to the thawing permafrost, said Igor Semiletov of the Ilichev Pacific Oceanological Institute (the Russian Academy of Sciences’ Far Eastern Branch)."

Quote: "The expedition studied seep fields, and came to the conclusion methane emissions would double within the coming year. According to them, the permafrost’s progressing degradation develops unexpectedly quickly."

Quote: "This topic (methane emissions) is a key challenge - consequences from the permafrost’s thawing, which develops due to the global climate changes. We cannot say clearly how much this process influences the climate, but the main ‘candidate’ to explain those massive emissions is the destabilization of hydrates (gas hydrates consisting of water and methane), which are in a giant quantity under the permafrost and inside it - two-fold bigger than in the atmosphere..."

  1. Made it through another 'work week,' Jonny, everyone.

The 'drop dead' scenario is preferable to burning to death or drowning, having a medical event in a vehicle or a lingering death due to some disease. I consider people dying quickly lucky.

Every day more residences going up in flames. The insurance industry is taking a beating, but since we're playing with funny money now, i guess it doesn't matter to them.

[PA] Gov. Wolf just locked us down again here until Jan. 4th, the bastard piece of shit. i hope everyone reading here is doing better than this where you live. Medical tyranny is real and getting worse.

48% Of U.S. Small Businesses Fear That They May Be Forced To “Shut Down Permanently” Soon
    http://theeconomiccollapseblog.com/archives/48-of-u-s-small-businesses-fear-that-they-may-be-forced-to-shut-down-permanently-soon

What would the United States look like if we lost half of our small businesses? The reason I ask that question is because approximately half of all small business owners in the entire country believe that they may soon be forced to close down for good. Not even during the Great Depression of the 1930s did we see anything like this. The big corporate giants with extremely deep pockets will be able to easily weather another round of lockdowns, but for countless small businesses this is literally a matter of life and death. Every day we are seeing new restrictions being implemented somewhere in the nation, and the politicians that are doing this are killing the hopes and dreams of countless small business owners. According to a recent Alignable survey, 48 percent of U.S. small business owners fear that they could be forced to “shut down permanently” in the very near future…

And every time a small business has to let workers go, it just makes the unemployment crisis in this country even worse. [more]

The Marshall Islands could be wiped out by climate change – and their colonial history limits their ability to save themselves
    https://www.yahoo.com/news/marshall-islands-could-wiped-climate-054047445.html

King tides are nothing new for the Marshall Islands, a nation made up of 29 low-lying coral atolls that stretch across more than a million square miles of Pacific Ocean northeast of Australia. By 2035, the U.S. Geological Survey projects that some of the Marshall Islands will be submerged. Others will no longer have drinking water because their aquifers will be contaminated with saltwater. As a result, Marshallese would be forced to migrate away from their homelands. [more; where ya gunna go?]

The North Carolina hog industry's answer to pollution: a $500m pipeline project
    https://www.yahoo.com/news/north-carolina-hog-industrys-answer-090023798.html

Eastern North Carolina has around 4,000 pink hued pools of pig feces, urine and blood as a result of the hog industry, where 9 million pigs produce over 10bn gallons of waste annually in the state. When the waste lagoons reach capacity, excess waste is sprayed on to nearby fields. In 2000, Smithfield Foods agreed with state officials in North Carolina to finance research to find and install alternatives to the waste lagoons and spraying systems, but none were deemed economically feasible.

But now – instead of implementing safer waste systems – Smithfield Foods is pushing to use the hog waste lagoons to collect, transport and sell the methane gas they produce. That terrifies many local people and environmental activists who see it as seeking to profit from an ecological problem rather than fix it. [more]

Supreme Court denies effort to block election results in 4 key states that sealed Trump's fate
    https://www.yahoo.com/news/supreme-court-denies-effort-block-233419258.html [~ 7.5 min. lead-in video]

The Supreme Court refused Friday to let Texas challenge the election results in four battleground states critical to President Donald Trump's defeat at the polls last month, likely sealing his political fate.

"Texas has not demonstrated a judicially cognizable interest in the manner in which another state conducts its elections," the court said in a brief order. It dismissed all other related claims as moot.

The justices' action clears the way for electors to convene in 50 states and the District of Columbia Monday and all but confirm that President-elect Joe Biden will be the nation's 46th president.[more]

Exxon Mobil to cut 700 jobs in Houston -government notice

Exxon Mobil Corp will lay off more than 700 workers in the Houston area, according to a notice it sent to the Texas Workforce Commission posted on Friday.

The largest U.S. oil producer had previously said it would cut its global workforce by about 15%, or around 14,000 jobs, including deep cuts in the United States.

Exxon and other oil companies have been slashing costs due to a collapse in oil demand due to the coronavirus pandemic and ill-timed bets on new projects. [more]

Asteroids aren't completely random? Mass extinctions of Earth's land animals follow a cycle, study finds
    https://www.yahoo.com/news/asteroids-arent-completely-random-mass-164014065.html

Mass extinctions of life on Earth appear to follow a regular pattern, a new study suggests.

In fact, widespread die-offs of land-dwelling animals – which include amphibians, reptiles, mammals and birds – follow a cycle of about 27 million years, the study reports.

The study also said these mass extinctions coincide with major asteroid impacts and devastating volcanic outpourings of lava.
