Event Update For 2019-05-22
http://jumpingjackflashhypothesis.blogspot.com/2012/02/jumping-jack-flash-hypothesis-its-gas.html
The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.
A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

2019-05-22 - Blue-green algae carpeting beaches along coastal Sarasota Bay (Florida):

http://www.mysuncoast.com/2019/05/22/bloom-blue-green-algae-sarasota-bay-has-community-concerned/
Quote: "Austin Dunn has worked at Bay Shore Gardens for more than six years and is tasked with cleaning up the beach, Big Fish, there. 'I haven’t seen this, what they are calling blue-algae before,' said Dunn. The beaches have been caked up for a couple of weeks. The Florida Department of Environmental Protection says blue-green algae is a natural part of the freshwater, brackish, and marine environments here in Florida. But it's new to this beach."
Quote: "A family who came to fish thought they were in for a gorgeous afternoon on the water, but after a couple of minutes of exploration, they changed their minds. 'We’re going to go somewhere else, it’s pretty bad here. It stinks,' one said. 'It’s getting worse. I don’t know what the hell is going on.'"
Quote: "The Florida Department of Environmental Protection confirmed a presence of the Blue-green algae last week and say despite the unpleasant smell, this algae doesn’t carry toxins and it’s not harmful to sea life, but people on the Suncoast are still reeling from the red tide scare that plagued most of Florida."
Quote: "Experts say to avoid blue-green algae areas and to avoid eating fish from those waters to be safe."
Note: So it's safe...but don't swim in it or eat fish that have been in it. The bad smell is hydrogen sulfide produced by ancient anaerobic bacteria and archaea eating the decaying algae. Hydrogen sulfide is a deadly poison. Apparently they don't want to talk about that though. Might be bad for tourism and property values and such. Shhhh, don't tell anyone!

Quote: "A high-level warning for blue-green algae has been issued for Wyangala Dam. Blue-green algae concentrations have increased significantly in the Lachlan River arm of the storage with the potential to move through the storage. A red alert level indicates people should not undertake recreational activities where they may come into direct contact with the water such as swimming, as well as domestic use including showering and washing. Contact with the water may also pose a threat to livestock and pets. People are advised not to enter the water, not to drink untreated water or bathe in water drawn from the dam while this red alert level warning is in place."

There's very little information on this wreck, but it happened at 1 AM. It appears to me that the SUV veered across the center lines and ran into the semi head on. So he could've been drunk, fell asleep, or it was a Gas Gas Gas....

Now, see - we had a tornado warning last night around 11. My phone woke me up after ringing annoyingly 3 separate times. i pushed "confirm" and fell back to sleep immediately. My wife and grand-daughter (living with us for the summer) who were up watching the NBA basketball game said it got real quiet outside. They opened the front door to hear an eerie whistling noise. The tornado "fizzled out" near Downingtown, just down the hill from us. They were scared. No reports of damage as yet.
ReplyDeleteAn EF-3 must be unbelievable! 160 mph winds? Are you kidding? i'd have shit myself and passed out from fear anywhere near that, jeez!
Fran, Mike and Jonny - you all have experience with these kind of weather conditions and know what to do. Any time i hear about one of these monsters in the mid-west i think of you three. Be safe and check in (if you can)!

Stocks And Bonds Are Both Sending The Exact Same Message As Wall Street Braces For A Very Uncertain Future
http://theeconomiccollapseblog.com/archives/stocks-and-bonds-are-both-sending-the-exact-same-message-as-wall-street-braces-for-a-very-uncertain-future
Slowly but surely, Wall Street is starting to understand that the good times are over. For months, most investors were absolutely convinced that the U.S. and China would be able to work out a trade deal because the alternative would simply be too painful for both sides. But now trade talks are completely dead, and Wall Street is starting to come to grips with the reality that we really are facing a very long trade war. Unless there is a major miracle, this trade war with China is likely to last until the presidential election in 2020, and if Trump wins it could go a lot longer than that. And of course this comes at a time when the U.S. economy is already slowing down dramatically. The economic optimism of the last couple of years is being replaced by a deep sense of gloom, and we are starting to see this reflected in the behavior of the markets. [more]

i thought so too, Mike. i can't imagine running head first into a semi, both moving in opposite directions, no less - whoa. Serious impact, so much mass, gee-yod. Probably gonna be a choice way to commit suicide, before long. It's probably quick, and beats starvation, for most people, i suppose ..
ReplyDeleteThese self-proclaimed people, thinking they have all the answers, peddling some line-a crap to buy - i almost never listen to them. On that one, i was listening for places i hadn't heard are having trouble growing crops. He didn't have any new ones and didn't even list the marine die-off, which is enormous and will have "implications" for humanity, shortly.
Stay well, Mike.
'We need to be caring for each other': 16-year-old helps man in wheelchair get home before severe weather strikes
ReplyDeletehttps://www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/16-yearold-helps-man-in-wheelchair-get-home-before-storm-010611803.html
Seth Phillips, 16, jumped out of his mother's car to help Gregory Beck, a double amputee, get home before severe weather hit on Tuesday.
Residents of Missouri know that when the outdoor warning siren sounds, which is activated when there is a tornado warning for the area, it’s time to seek shelter. One man, a double amputee, was leaving a grocery store about a quarter mile from his home when the sirens started to go off. Thankfully, a 16-year-old stepped in to help when it seemed no one else would.
Seth pushed Beck in his wheelchair up a hill to his home — a hill that Beck says takes him 25 minutes to traverse. He has to stop up to 10 times to rest before he makes it to his door.
"His only complaint was, 'it makes me sad that people would rather fly by and honk at a disabled person rather than to lend a hand,'" said Gilleylen [more; Seth's mom].

With six warnings Thursday, Pennsylvania already has exceeded its annual tornado average
https://www.mcall.com/news/weather/mc-nws-pennsylania-tornado-warned-storms-yearly-totals-20190524-tzzuhgxtk5dmrkjdj5x3v6otim-story.html
[if you look on the map i'm one of the blue dots on the right side of the arc on the right-hand lower corner of the state - southern Chester County]
All six warnings expired without incident, but the outbreak of severe weather — in strength and severity — over a short period of time is notable. Especially when it seems to be part of an unending pattern of extreme weather events this season.
At least 16 tornadoes have been preliminarily confirmed in the commonwealth this year, according to NOAA’s Storm Prediction Center. The state’s average for an entire year is closer to eight, according to a storms event database that goes all the way back to 1950. [more]
The Evidence We Were Never Supposed to See About The Douma 'Gas' Attack
https://www.sott.net/article/413669-The-Evidence-We-Were-Never-Supposed-to-See-About-The-Douma-Gas-Attack
the OPCW deliberately concealed from both the public and the press the existence of a dissenting 15-page assessment of two cylinders which had supposedly contained molecular chlorine - perhaps the most damning evidence against the Assad regime in the entire report.
The OPCW officially maintains that these canisters were probably dropped by an aircraft - probably a helicopter, presumably Syrian - over Douma on 7 April 2018. But the dissenting assessment, which the OPCW made no reference to in its published conclusions, finds there is a "higher probability that both cylinders were manually placed at those two locations rather than being delivered from aircraft".

Reporters Without Borders: Israel is guilty of war crimes against the press
ReplyDeletehttps://www.sott.net/article/413686-Reporters-Without-Borders-Israel-is-guilty-of-war-crimes-against-the-press
The morning after the director-general of Reporters Without Borders (RSF in French) received the Dan David Prize at a ceremony in Tel Aviv, he accused Israel of war crimes.
"It is a war crime to target journalists because they are journalists," Christophe Deloire told The Jerusalem Post on Monday. "When Israel shot those journalists, it was intentional... The journalists could be clearly identified as journalists, with cameras and jackets and it could not be just by chance." [more]

Dim future? IQ rates are mysteriously declining throughout much of the developed world
https://www.sott.net/article/413693-Dim-future-IQ-rates-are-mysteriously-declining-throughout-much-of-the-developed-world
People are getting dumber. That's not a judgment; it's a global fact. In a host of leading nations, IQ scores have started to decline. [more; what would you expect, living in a toxic environment that too many other species can no longer tolerate?]
Some environmental factor - or collection of factors - is causing a drop in the IQ scores of parents and their own children, and older kids and their younger siblings. One leading explanation is that the rise of lower-skill service jobs has made work less intellectually demanding, leaving IQs to atrophy as people flex their brains less.
There are also other possibilities, largely untested, such as global warming making food less nutritious or information-age devices sapping our ability to focus. [more; all that and more]

ReplyDeleteActor John Cleese talks to reincarnation researcher Dr Jim Tucker about children's past life memories
https://www.sott.net/article/413676-Actor-John-Cleese-talks-to-reincarnation-researcher-Dr-Jim-Tucker-about-childrens-past-life-memories
Regular readers of the Grail will know that legendary comedian and Monty Python alumni John Cleese has a deep interest in research into the survival of consciousness beyond death. And if you're interested in that topic, the place to go is the Division of Perceptual Studies (DoPS) at the University of Virginia, which has hosted researchers of the caliber of Dr Bruce Greyson (NDEs) and the late Dr Ian Stevenson (reincarnation memories).
So it's no surprise to see a [~ 9 min.] video posted recently online, embedded below, by the DoPS in which another researcher there, Dr Jim Tucker, is interviewed by John Cleese himself. [more]

'Oumuamua was a fragment from a disintegrated comet
https://www.sott.net/article/413650-Oumuamua-was-a-fragment-from-a-disintegrated-comet
'Oumuamua's strange trajectory back out to interstellar space can be explained if the object was a comet fragment with the density of air.
Before we ever saw 'Oumuamua, it was part of an interstellar comet. As the comet approached our Sun - after billions of years spent traveling between stars - it disintegrated. By the time our telescopes picked it up, 'Oumuamua was a mere fragment left over from an epic journey.
'Oumuamua is a so-called fractal aggregate, a porous pile of icy dust. [more; i liked the space ship idea better]
This May Be The End Of Secureteam
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Q8HMmBVW0s
[he's been de-monetized]
Well, I tweeted my dissatisfaction about the demonetization of SecureTeam to the YouTube folks. That sucks. Hope they fix it!
ReplyDeleteThis is also partly why I keep money off the table. If my ability to speak the truth is contingent on an influx of other people's money, then I'd be vulnerable in the same way. I'd rather be poor than vulnerable. Also, I just plain have a problem with making money reporting on the misery and dying of my fellow human beings. That's really the main reason I avoid monetization right there, but avoiding this kind of vulnerability is definitely a factor too. If you aren't monetized, you can't be DE-monetized!
