Event Update For 2017-12-27

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

  2. Holy slappa-cowa! This may be the year people finally see what's going on around them. Nah, still too distracted by all the noise in the system (cell phones, information, ads, fake news, natural disasters, weather, personal needs, desires, mental problems etc).

People will awaken to the on-going collapse of industrial civilization when it effects them directly - their home burns down or explodes, they have a sudden medical issue, wild weather or natural disaster causes problems (like forced, extended evacuation or homelessness). Things are breaking down all over the planet. Soon (probably in another year or 2) we'll reach a critical mass and then it will get worse - til finally we're all gone.

Even Sharks Are Freezing to Death. Winter Rages and the Nation Reels.

“In the East, it could be the COLDEST New Year’s Eve on record,” he wrote. “Perhaps we could use a little bit of that good old Global Warming.” [moron, what do you think caused this condition?]

Along the New England coast, the cold appeared to be at least partially the culprit in the deaths of three thresher sharks found washed up on the shores of Wellfleet and Orleans on Cape Cod over the past several days, according to scientists.

“If you’ve got cold air, that’ll freeze their gills up very quickly,” said Greg Skomal, a marine scientist for the Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries. “Those gill filaments are very sensitive and it wouldn’t take long for the shark to die.”

Mr. Skomal hypothesized that the sharks, which are usually about 12 feet long, had begun to make their way south as northerly waters cooled, but got trapped by Cape Cod, as have wayward dolphins before them, and pushed up onto the beach, where the cold may have hastened their death. [more]

NYC fire sent victims outside in frigid temperatures

NEW YORK -- As residents escaped a fire that left 12 people dead in the Bronx Thursday night, they were met with bitter cold and dangerous temperatures, CBS New York reports. Full families were seen racing out of the building – some wearing only T-shirts, and some children wearing no shoes -- to save their own lives.

Twelve people were confirmed dead in the fire, and Mayor Bill de Blasio said four people were also in critical condition and fighting for their lives late Thursday. There were other serious injuries as well, de Blasio said.

"This is the worst fire tragedy we have seen in this city in at least a quarter century," de Blasio said. "Based on the information we have now, this will rank as one of the worst losses of life to a fire in many, many years." [more]
