Event Update For 2016-05-11

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

Quote: "'(Detectives) couldn't smell anything as far as accelerants,' he said."

Note: Methane is odorless and if this man's clothes had been contaminated with hydrogen sulfide then the fire wouldn't have left any of that to smell either. Gasoline would leave an odor, so this wasn't a fire involving gasoline. Might've just been a smoker having a cig or someone using a cellphone while sitting under a tree, who happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time when some methane and/or hydrogen sulfide blew by, ignited and burned him to death. Seems quite similar to the woman who burst into flame while sitting on a park bench in coastal Flensburg (Germany), mentioned in the 2015-11-05 update). Mostly people are burning to death in their vehicles or homes, but not always...

Tons a shit burnin', collapsin' and die-in! They should put out a national bulletin on fishin' at this point. But they'd need to also alert people to specific locations where they might die just bein' there - like the Willamette River that keeps causing/accepting corpses.

Large cracks and holes have already swallowed more than 150 hectares of fields and destroyed an entire farm with about 70 heads of cattle, and chickens and some houses threatening farmers' lifes.

The main event occurred suddenly in a loud boom.

Farmer Gonzalo was at home with his wife his daughter, 5 years, and his nephew when the the house started falling apart.

Then, outside, they were surrounded by holes and cracks.

After the collapse, the family members were completely isolated during 4 days , like trapped on an island. Heavy rains and an overflowing river started surrounding them. Help finally came after five days.

[so they basically stood there for 5 days?!]

  5. Study predicts chance of mega-earthquake in the Aleutians

MāNOA, Hawaii, May 13 (UPI) -- There's a nine percent chance a magnitude 9 or larger earthquake will strike the Aleutian Islands in the next 50 years. That is the prediction offered by scientists from the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa -- made with the help of a newly designed computer model.

Researchers say an earthquake of that size could send a mega-tsunami in the direction of the Hawaiian Islands.

The Aleutian Islands, which stretch toward Russia from the coast of Alaska, sit along a subduction zone at the convergence of the Pacific and North American tectonic plates. Scientists say the chance of a dramatic slip along the fault lines that make up the subduction zone is significant. [more]

[can you imagine, Jonny - how quickly road rage will turn into gunplay? Altercations at the town council meeting will be met with HEAT; fuggedabot parent teacher meetings for some of our troubled youth!]

  7. Sheeit, there's gunfire and road rage around here without concealed weapons! But yeah, I guess that'll probably get worse. People randomly going insane from brain damage + guns = problems. Nobody can guarantee they'll not be a raving lunatic the next day, because that can happen to anyone at any time now, so the more guns around, the more screwed we're gonna be. At least when the stuff died off in the Permian-Triassic, they weren't blowing each other away with guns, and they weren't running nuclear plants that'd melt down either. So we'll probably not last nearly as long as those creatures did. Homo Derpus.
