Event Update For 2015-06-24

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

Note: One of these mysterious explosions hit the Outer Banks in North Carolina and shortly afterwards a huge number of fish washed ashore dead. That was probably a methane and/or hydrogen sulfide bubble from the sea floor that breached the surface and then exploded and killed those fish, or they died from suffocation as the gas rose to the surface, or some of both. That event happened this past March and was mentioned in the 2015-03-18 update. 1. [it feels so good to even be able to say this] Good morning Jonny!

The repairman that went to fix the roof A/C system in the above story: i can envision a scenario where the A/C "shorts out" due to a cloud of H2S blowing by, some of it adhering to the casing and wires of the unit. He begins working on it without gloves and comes into contact with it, "and that's all she wrote."

It would be great if the news followed up on the two people who died in their back yard at the same time. If there was any trauma involved (like from an attack, or a large tree branch falling on them) the article would have said.

'Crypto' Parasite Outbreaks Increasing in Pools Across US

A diarrhea-causing parasite that is often transmitted through water is causing an increasing number of outbreaks in U.S. pools and spas, according to a new report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Among the outbreaks linked to treated water, more than half were caused by a parasite called Cryptosporidium, also known as Crypto, which causes diarrhea, the CDC said. This parasite is able to survive even in chlorine-treated pools for more than 10 days. Crypto was responsible for more than 90 percent of pool outbreaks that occurred during summer months.

The Economic Collapse Blog Has Issued A RED ALERT For The Last Six Months Of 2015

I have never done anything like this before. Ever since I started The Economic Collapse Blog in late 2009, I have never issued any kind of “red alert” for any specific period of time.
So this is not something that I am doing lightly. Based on information that I have received, things that I have been told, and thousands of hours of research that have gone into the publication of more than 1,300 articles about our ongoing economic collapse, I have come to the conclusion that a major financial collapse is imminent. Therefore, I am issuing a RED ALERT for the last six months of 2015.

It is my contention that we are in the midst of a long-term economic collapse that has been happening for many years, that is happening as you read this article, and that will greatly accelerate over the coming months. [and will continue into 2016]

  5. Thanks, Tom! Just survived another round of storms here. Apparently Kansas City got hammered, 100,000 without power (which is a pretty big percentage of the population there since KC is not NYC), but it must have weakened some before it got here, since not too much damage here. Still a pretty scary storm though. I was eyeing the door to the basement nervously and contemplating retreat. Heh.
