Event Update For 2015-05-14

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

  1. God - every day you come up with the weirdest shit going on Jonny - keep it up!

i really appreciate the ones that can't be explained using conventional fire information, like this latest pile of scrap metal just going up in flames, or the fire in the unused grape field.

PA keeps doing its part to combust, collapse, crash or corrode.

Here's the latest on the Amtrack fiasco. The NTSB is bringing in the FBI to examine the windshield of the engine (in fact on two different trains).

Meteorite? Terrorists? Amtrak train may have been struck before crash

    [two quotes]

The engineer who operated Amtrak 188 was qualified and competent, but remembers nothing from the fatal crash, investigators said after interviewing him. The NTSB is now asking FBI help to look into allegations the train was struck or shot at.

One of the conductors testified she had heard an engineer aboard a local SEPTA train reporting "either being hit by a rock, or shot at," and putting his train into an emergency stop with a broken windshield, Sumwalt said. The conductor believes she heard the Amtrak engineer reporting "something about his train being struck by something" as well.

  2. Remember the windows mysteriously shattering in Colorado? Could be atmospheric explosions causing that, sometimes anyway. Not huge ones, but 'gunshot-sized'. Also, even if this train WAS hit by something, so what? That's not why it derailed. It derailed because it was going 107 MPH through a 50 MPH curve, and why it was going that fast nobody knows, because the driver has memory loss.

  3. In other words, this whole 'was it or wasn't it hit by something' thing is a distraction, designed to take peoples' minds away from the driver who can't remember why the train was going 107 MPH through that curve.

  4. Yeah, but what if someone entered the compartment and whacked him over the head - like the "hammer" guy the other day the hit two random people over the head - or what if it was a 303 round ricocheting off the broken window and luckily just grazing his skull? i'd just as soon them at least rule that out. Another thing is the guy could have gotten a whiff of a minor concentration of H2S wafting by - shit, the Schuylkill is right there - went catatonic and just zoned out.

  5. Whoa, so two more trains derailed after that Philly one AND two other trains caught fire too. Hmmm, trains are suddenly seeming almost as vulnerable as buses. Maybe this is just a 'bad streak'. Or maybe this is the 'new normal'. I guess we'll find out!

  7. Yep, mentioned the storms in Germany, just didn't mention the hail specifically. That beaver story sounds like a joke. 'A beaver walks into a hardware store...'

8 inches of snow in Flagstaff in mid-May, with snow plows on the streets - that's just crazy! It'd be pretty crazy to get 8 inches of snow here in Missouri in May, but to see that happen in Arizona, that's even crazier. If we start getting snow like that during the growing season in the croplands of the country, even sporadically, that'll be the end of growing crops.

  8. Exactly Jonny, that's why i keep saying that food shortages are on the way - due to climate change, the precariously perfect conditions we had are now gone.
