Event Update For 2014-08-09

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

2014-08-09 - One man killed, another injured, while lying on road in coastal Tampa (Florida):

Note: Why were they lying on the road? Did they lose consciousness? Hydrogen sulfide is randomly knocking people unconscious (and sometimes dead) around the world, so what you're doing and where you are when that happens can dictate whether you survive to get up again. Fall unconscious driving and you crash. Fall unconscious in cold weather and you freeze to death. Fall unconscious in water and you drown. Fall unconscious while crossing a road and you may get mowed down by a vehicle...

2014-08-09 - Woman, 31, slumps over dead in porta-potty at festival in Winchester (Britain):

2014-08-09 - Man, 25, loses consciousness, van crashes, bursts into flame, in Graves County (Kentucky), 1 injured:

Quote: "According to Graves County Sheriff Dewayne Redmon, deputies responded to a vehicle fire on Saturday afternoon. It happened on Darnell Road. Deputies say 25-year-old Anthony Stanley was found lying in his driveway, about 100 yards away from his vehicle which was fully engulfed. Stanley said he had been driving east along Darnell Road when he blacked out. When Stanley came to, he was lying in the road. He was able to walk back to his home and call 911."

Note: So he doesn't even remember how he got 100 yards from the van after blacking out and crashing the van. Memory loss, unconsciousness, vehicle burning - hydrogen sulfide can knock you unconscious (or dead) with one breath, it is neurotoxic so it may damage the brain which can cause memory loss (among other things), and it is highly reactive and highly flammable so it is causing many vehicular fires too. This guy is lucky to be alive, but he may suffer long-term health consequences. He could also die within the next week since hydrogen sulfide sometimes has a delayed reaction of minutes, hours or sometimes even days before you drop dead. The road where this man blacked out and crashed, Darnell Road, crosses Bacon Creek, so he was within half of mile of the creek, if not closer, and there's also a pond just north of the road.

This event sounds very similar to what happened to a friend of mine in his early 40s in late 2012. He lost consciousness and crashed a moped into the back of a car in the wee hours, didn't remember the crash. Then a few days later he said that he thought he was going crazy (probable brain damage) and then less than an hour after that he dropped dead in the shower. You're most likely to black out or sicken or go insane or die (or all of the above) in the wee hours when you are outdoors (being in a vehicle qualifies) and when in, near, or downwind of low-lying areas like ditches, ravines, canyons, valleys, bodies of water, etc. You're not really SAFE anywhere or at any time though, unless you're in an environment with a protected atmosphere.

Your government isn't going to tell you this, since it might cause panic, so it's up to you to do whatever you think you CAN do to protect yourself, if you want to live a little while longer. Your call, your consequences. If you want some ideas on how to prolong your life, I've listed the various things I am trying in the FAQ. None of them are foolproof, unfortunately, but they may (or may not) buy you some time...
