Summary of Hypothesis:
The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

Predictions:

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species, including sea mammals.
C. More and more MULTIPLES of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

Note: Also bursting into flame were a discarded couch and a discarded mattress, both absorbent items/materials that would absorb hydrogen sulfide and/or methane and spontaneously combust. They're assuming arson because all three fires began in the same general area, around the same time. Well, that's what you'd expect of a flammable gas plume blowing through an area, igniting here and there as it goes. Also, hydrogen sulfide can ignite in the presence of rusty iron, or copper. The truck had copper in it, connected to a battery. The two furniture items, one had bed springs, and one had nails and/or screws, and both were discarded, outside, where they would rust...

Note: A huge explosion and fire at a fireworks plant devastated a neighborhood in coastal Lagos Island (Nigeria) recently too, as mentioned in the 2012-12-25 update. Note: So they basically died almost instantly. They probably hit a gas plume, likely hydrogen sulfide, which is a fast-acting 'knockdown agent', then plummeted from the sky dead. This same kind of thing happened New Years Eve a couple of years ago in Beebe (Arkansas). Officials blamed fireworks for that. I think they were right, in a way. The fireworks scared the birds and they took flight then flew into a gas plume and fell from the sky dead...
