Summary of Hypothesis:
The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.
Predictions:
A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species, including sea mammals.
C. More and more MULTIPLES of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.
Recent Events Matching Predictions:
A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.

2012-08-11 - Knife-wielding man slashes at random people in New York City (New York), won't surrender, shot and killed:
http://www.foxnews.com/us/2012/08/11/police-shoot-kill-man-near-new-york-times-square/
Note: He refused orders to drop the knife. Police pepper-sprayed him, wasn't enough. He charged the police, so they shot him dead. He had just come up from the subway. It was just a few months ago that four people were found dead in the subways in NYC in one day. Not long after that the system was shut for some extensive maintenance. They were probably trying to retrofit it in an attempt to keep hydrogen sulfide out of the subway tunnels. But...it's a subway, below ground, near the coast, with open access points for people to come and go, so it's unlikely that any kind of protective measures will work 100% in terms of preventing a heavier-than-air gas like hydrogen sulfide from infiltrating the system. Did this particular guy get a good whiff? We'll never know, but it's certainly possible...

2012-08-11 - Man, 72, falls into ravine near lake in New Hampshire, forgets who he is, hitchhikes and walks 1000 miles:
http://www.usatoday.com/news/story/2012-08-11/missing-man-found/56985000/1?csp=34news
Quote: "Hugh Armstrong says he hitchhiked and walked 1,000 miles south from New Hampshire without knowing who he was."
Note: He forgot his own identity, but still retained some vague memories, so he set out to solve the mystery of his identity. After walking and hitchhiking 1000 miles south, from New Hampshire to North Carolina, working here and there along the way for food and clothing, he got some help and found out who he is. Hydrogen sulfide can induce memory loss. I think that's what hit this guy; he got partially mindwiped and his brain took some damage and he lost some important memory-related connection that took two weeks for his neurology to route around...
