http://jumpingjackflashhypothesis.blogspot.com/2012/02/jumping-jack-flash-hypothesis-its-gas.html
Summary of Hypothesis:
The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.
Predictions:
A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species, including sea mammals.
C. More and more MULTIPLES of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.
Recent Events Matching Predictions:
A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.

http://blogs.sacbee.com/crime/archives/2012/08/five-alarm-fire-destroys-richard-boulevard-warehouse.html
Note: Flames ten stories high in this fire. Party decor, so lots of colored paper stringers, that kind of stuff. Also, a lot of props and stage sets, likely made of wood. So, more paper and wood products igniting. Also, 'Dos Rios', meaning 'Two Rivers', and Sacramento is on the west coast as well...

http://www.kimatv.com/home/video/Four-alarm-fire-rips-through-Yakima-storage-facility--165086516.html
Note: Another storage facility igniting. The most likely reason that storage facilities are going up in flames is that they are basically garages, not very airtight, often storing lawn mowers and motorcycles and generators and whatnot, and no one around using fire on a regular basis (cooking, laundry, etc). But because they have MANY units, they get the garage vulnerabilities, but compounded. Also, Yakima is located in the Yakima Valley, right next to a river, with a couple of lakes on the north side of the city...

Note: Same thing as a storage facility, basically, except the stuff is only there until it's moved from residence A to residence B. Nobody was in the facility when it ignited around midnight, so probably some paper or wood products or a combustion engine of some type spontaneously combusted inside...
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species, including sea mammals.
