The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

Note: Methane is definitely not responsible for any rotten egg odor, or any other kind of odor, because methane is odorless. Sewer gas, e.g. hydrogen sulfide, does smell like rotten eggs though. It's possible there was both methane AND hydrogen sulfide since both are produced in the same kind of environments. This reminds me of an event in coastal Santa Monica, where a foul smell hit the city and sent a bunch of people to the hospital. The authorities blamed that on a 'naturally occurring methane release' in Santa Monica Bay. Again, sure, there probably WAS a methane release, but methane didn't cause the foul odor due to methane being odorless. The odor and the sickness that afflicted people was probably caused by poisonous hydrogen sulfide. This is the most effective way to lie to people: tell them SOME of the truth (methane is involved) but don't mention the other part of the truth that you don't want people to think about (hydrogen sulfide is ALSO involved)...

Note: So we might expect temps to go up as much as 40F as the world continues warming. So that 121F temp that we saw in Canada a couple of years ago would then be 161F, and the 100 straight days of 100F in Phoenix would then be 100 straight days of 140F. We won't be around long enough to see that except for people who are immune to heat and who don't need food to eat...
