Event Update For 2018-10-09

http://jumpingjackflashhypothesis.blogspot.com/2012/02/jumping-jack-flash-hypothesis-its-gas.html

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

2018-10-09 - Climate change even worse than stated in the dire IPCC report:
http://www.fasterthanexpected.com/2018/10/09/tipping-points-could-exacerbate-climate-crisis-scientists-fear/
http://www.fasterthanexpected.com/2018/10/09/whats-not-in-the-latest-terrifying-ipcc-report-the-much-much-much-more-terrifying-new-research-on-climate-tipping-points/

Quote: "Jamie Henn, co-founder and the program director for the international climate group 350.org, stated in a tweet on Tuesday, the 'scariest thing about the IPCC Report' is the fact that 'it’s the watered down, consensus version. The latest science is much, much, much more terrifying.'"

Note: Tipping points have already passed. The end of the world has begun and it is unstoppable...

2018-10-09 - Foul odor hits coastal Karachi (Pakistan):

http://www.thenews.com.pk/latest/379264-stench-in-karachi-attributed-to-decaying-bloom-of-microscopic-marine-plants-wwf
http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x6v6g4p

Quote: "A foul smell has engulfed many localities of the port city since Tuesday night. Many on social media were confused and wondered where the smell originated from. World Wide Fund (WWF) Pakistan adviser Mohammad Moazzam Khan said that the stench emanates from the rotting of phytoplankton plant that washes ashore at the end of the monsoon season."

Note: Anaerobic breakdown of biomatter - dead stuff like plankton or algae or fish or seaweed, sewage and sh#t, etc - creates hydrogen sulfide, so that's what they were smelling. The same thing is happening in the Caribbean now as massive quantities of Sargassum seaweed inundate beaches and rot, and the same thing is happening along the coasts of Florida as dead fish and red tide rot. It's just the smell of death and decay spreading across the dying planet, no big deal!

2018-10-09 - Ice melting on Earth at an accelerating rate, rate has tripled in 10 years in Antarctica, trillions of tons of ice gone since 1992:
http://truthout.org/articles/earths-ice-loss-is-a-nuclear-explosion-of-geologic-change/

Quote: "Much of the frozen water portion of the Earth, otherwise known as the cryosphere, is melting. This is not news: It’s been happening for decades. What is news is that the long-term melting trends in the Arctic, Antarctica, and with most land-based glaciers are accelerating, often at shocking rates, largely due to human-caused climate change."

Quote: "Antarctica is melting three times as fast as it was just 10 years ago, alarming scientists. A study earlier this year showed 3 trillion tons of ice had disappeared since 1992. That is the equivalent of enough water to cover the entire state of Texas with 13 feet of water, and raise global sea levels a third of an inch."

  1. Mornin' Jonny, fellow readers. Man that hurricane was unbelievable!

Gotta stay clear of ammunition dump fires - how do they put them out?

Lotta people dyin' lately with all these storms and such.

Gee, do you think it's a coincidence that a semi burst into flames a few miles from that barge fire? You'd think at least some people would start putting this together to figure out what's OBVIOUS to Jonny.

    Let's look around.

Hurricane dangers will linger long after Michael's trail of devastation, experts say
    https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/hurricane-dangers-will-linger-long-after-michaels-trail-of-devastation-experts-say/ar-BBOecAa

While the storm’s winds and rain have passed, flooding remains widespread across the Florida Panhandle, along with thousands of downed trees, severed power and gas lines, and road-blocking debris. And those are just the visible dangers: The water itself can carry bacteria and viruses that pose a major health hazard.

Among the medical dangers are cholera, Hepatitis A and vibriosis, said Dr. Robert Glatter, an emergency room physician at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. Glatter said storm victims need to stay focused on staying healthy while they await recovery efforts. That may mean not rushing outside as soon as the skies clear. [more; also electrocution and reptile attacks]

We Witnessed The 3rd Largest Point Crash In Stock Market History On The Same Day That The 3rd Most Powerful Hurricane To Ever Hit The U.S. Made Landfall

If you don’t believe in “coincidences”, what are we supposed to make of this? On Wednesday, the 3rd most powerful hurricane to ever hit the United States made landfall in the Florida panhandle. Entire communities were absolutely shredded as Hurricane Michael came ashore with sustained winds of 155 miles per hour. You can find the entire article that I just posted about this massive storm right here [link]. In this article, I am going to focus on what just happened on Wall Street. At the exact same time that Hurricane Michael was causing chaos in the Southeast, an October stock market crash was causing havoc in the Northeast. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 831 points, which was the 3rd largest single day point crash in stock market history. Of course it isn’t as if we hadn’t been repeatedly warned that this was coming, and the truth is that it looks like this is only the start of the financial shaking. [more]

  2. 10 Mind-Blowing Facts About Hurricane Michael – The 3rd Most Powerful Hurricane Ever To Make Landfall In The U.S.
    http://endoftheamericandream.com/archives/10-mind-blowing-facts-about-hurricane-michael-the-3rd-most-powerful-hurricane-ever-to-make-landfall-in-the-u-s

It wasn’t supposed to be like this. Hurricane Michael was supposed to be a relatively minor storm as hurricanes go, but it just kept getting stronger and stronger as it approached the Florida panhandle. And when it finally did make landfall, it was an absolutely monstrous storm with sustained maximum winds of 155 miles per hour. If those winds had reached 157 miles per hour, it would have been a Category 5 storm. It truly was a “lawnmower from the sky” that shredded just about everything it encountered as it slammed into a part of the country that was very ill-prepared for a storm of this magnitude.

    https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/unimaginable-destruction-hurricane-smashes-rows-of-houses/ar-BBOe7A9

The devastation inflicted by Hurricane Michael came into focus Thursday with rows upon rows of homes found smashed to pieces, and rescue crews began making their way into the stricken areas in hopes of accounting for hundreds of people who may have defied evacuation orders.

At least two deaths were blamed on Michael, the most powerful hurricane to hit the continental U.S. in over 50 years, and it wasn't done yet: Though reduced to a tropical storm, it brought flash flooding to North Carolina and Virginia, soaking areas still recovering from Hurricane Florence. Stocks tumbled again in volatile trading Thursday, a day after the major indexes suffered steep losses sparked by higher rates and a sell-off in tech shares.

The Dow ended down nearly 550 points after sinking more than 600 points earlier, bringing its two-day losses to more than 1,300 points. The S&P 500 lost 2 percent and posted a six-day losing streak. The broad index also broke below its 200-day moving average for the first time since May. The Nasdaq shed 1.25 percent. [more]

    1. Yes the stock market is getting "interesting" now. The Dow average is now down 5 percent since Tuesday. Since this is the magical month of October then maybe, just maybe the huge decline we've been looking for is about to happen. Who knows? Tomorrow may be the 21st century Black Friday.

Chicago weather: From 80 degrees to 30 degrees in one week
    https://www.msn.com/en-us/weather/topstories/chicago-weather-from-80-degrees-to-30-degrees-in-one-week/ar-BBOfhHa

Hard to believe Chicago saw temperatures in the mid-80s on Monday. Thursday's high temperature is expected to hit 51 degrees with a low around 37 degrees across the city. On Friday, the high will be 46 degrees and the low will be 36 degrees. Highs this weekend will be in the low 50s.

The 2019 Farmers' Almanac is predicting a "teeth-chattering cold" winter. And Chicago, along with the rest of the Midwest, will likely see above-normal snowfall, it said.

But a competitor - the Old Farmer's Almanac, a precursor to the Farmers' Almanac founded in 1792 - is predicting a milder-than-normal winter is likely, with forecasters there citing "a decrease in solar activity" and a weak El Nino in the Pacific Ocean, meaning cold air masses won't stick around. America’s obesity is threatening national security, according to this study
    https://www.armytimes.com/news/your-army/2018/10/10/americas-obesity-is-threatening-national-security-according-to-this-study/

[so now we have an air force with planes that don't make the grade, naval ships that have to be towed back to port after failing, and now "our" Army can't find enough guys to make their quotas - Let's Have A War!]

“Out of all the reasons that we have future soldiers disqualify, the largest – 31 percent ― is obesity,” Maj. Gen. Frank Muth, head of Army Recruiting Command, said Wednesday at AUSA’s annual meeting in Washington, D.C. [more]

    ReplyDelete
  6. As regards the obesity problem, I was the exact opposite when I joined the Army. I weighed around 100 pounds at 5'10". But I scored high on my ASVAB test, so my recruiter was desperate to get me in. So after I failed the first weigh-in for being too skinny, he devised a plan. First, I ate a lot of spaghetti for a week. Secondly, I didn't shit for a week (which was really difficult, I'll tell ya). Third, my height measurement, he told me to slouch as much as possible, and I shaved 3 inches off my height, which brought my minimum weight down to 111 pounds. Fourth, he had me get a doctor's waiver for being 'small-boned', which saved another 5 pounds off my minimum weight, bringing it down to 106 pounds.

Finally, on the day of my second weigh-in, I first had breakfast. Then when my recruiter picked me up, he handed me a jug of water and 12 bananas, and I was able to cram 11 bananas down. (And I haven't eaten one banana since that day.)

So the weigh-in guy says to me, 'Go weigh yourself.' I was thinking, wow, he's just gonna take my word for it?! Awesome! So I weighed myself and came up to 104.5 pounds. I went back and told him I weighed 106 pounds. He said, 'Hmmm, that's EXACTLY what you HAVE to weigh. Let's take a look.' So he walked me back and we did the scale again, and it went to 104.5 pounds again. So I looked at him, smiled, winked and said, 'See? About 106 pounds!' He chuckled and said, 'Yeah, close enough!'

So no shitting for a week, slouched 3 inches off my height, got a medical waiver, ate 11 bananas before weigh-in...and I still didn't quite make the minimum weight. But my sense of humor carried the day. So I figure my sense of humor weighs 1.5 pounds! Heh.

    1. Wow! I thought I was super skinny when I was in my late teens and early twenties. My senior year in HS I was 5'8" and weighed 126 lbs soaking wet. I was always self-conscious about being too skinny, even though my Dad told me that I was the right weight for my height. Of course....he was right.

I almost went into the Army. I too scored high on the ASVAB so my recruiter was all excited about getting me in. Of course he probably blew a lot of smoke up my ass with promises like, "Oh you can choose whatever MOS you want with that score". I found out from people who've been in that the Army determines your MOS most of the time and doesn't give a shit what you want. Those recruiters are pretty much no different than used car salesmen. Lol...

It was a comedy of errors that led to my not going in to the Army after all. But it would take a long time to type it all out and I'm feeling lazy right now.

  7. Well now. If we're gonna revisit the dim past. You're both taller than me. I wrestled 127, 133 (& 145 occasionally) in h.s. and 1 year of college, but I'm only 5'7". I was subject to the Viet Nam draft in 1970/71 but my number was suitably high enough that I didn't have to report for duty. Thank my lucky stars for that - it was senseless.

The world had changed after JFK was taken out by the cabal that's behind most of the crap that's happening, even today. I knew something was fundamentally wrong when I graduated h.s., but I couldn't $ee the bars on the cage until I got out of college, but by then I was wrapped up in life and had to figure all that out on the fly. I wanted to be a nomad, but instead became a family man. I didn't want kids either, but was "convinced" to give it a shot. They're all boys - well, grown men now.

Other than that Mr. Lincoln, how did you like the play?

It's been a long strange trip. Now it's crunch time. Then oblivion.

    But we ain't dead yet!
