2015 - DEC - Spotlight Stories

Category: Fires And Explosions

2015-12-01 - Three homes go up in flames in West Brighton (New York), on Staten Island, near the coast:

Quote: "Neighbors said they noticed a 'foul, gas-like' smell just before they heard sounds similar to 'bombs going off.'"

Note: An unexplained foul smell hit a large swath of Staten Island in late August too, mentioned in the 2015-08-28 update...

2015-12-01 - Fire department building erupts in flame at 11:30 PM in Knoxville (Tennessee), nobody there:

2015-12-02 - Drum of nitric acid reacts and ruptures at business in Corunna (Michigan), 2 injured:

Quote: "Matthies said there was a reaction with the company's nitric acid that caused a 55 gallon steel barrel to split."

Note: Nitric acid is non-flammable, like water. (Harmful to breathe or touch though.) It is, however, explosively reactive with gaseous hydrogen sulfide. A tanker ship carrying nitric acid went up in flames near coastal Ulsan (South Korea) in March, mentioned in the 2015-03-14 update. A cargo ship carrying nitric acid exploded and burned while moored near Ulsan in January too, mentioned in the 2015-01-11 update. That drum must not have been sealed very well and some hydrogen sulfide gas must have blown by and made contact with the nitric acid and caused the reaction that ruptured the drum. It couldn't have been a whole lot of hydrogen sulfide though, or there'd probably just be a crater here now instead of a ruptured drum...

Quote: "Firefighters said they believe the fire started in a car and tree that were outside the home. Heat from the fire spread to the garage then went to an upstairs bedroom."

Note: Here are some more piles of parked vehicles igniting. Most vehicles spend most of their time parked. That means that as the atmospheric contamination intensifies, more and more parked vehicles are igniting. The problem isn't remotely as bad as it's going to get, of course, but it's already plenty bad. Any vehicle built with steel (e.g. which rusts) or which has a battery and electrified copper is vulnerable to this problem. That's most vehicles, including boats. Park a vehicle near anything you don't want to see on fire at your own risk...

2015-12-13 - Update on passenger plane that exploded on the Sinai peninsula in Egypt: Egypt says no evidence of bomb:

Quote: "Egypt said on Monday it had found no evidence so far of terrorism or other illegal action linked to the crash of a Russian passenger plane in Sinai that killed all 224 people on board on Oct. 31."

Note: Heh, both Egypt and Russia have reasons to lie. Egypt might lie about it not being a bomb, since they don't want to lose tourism money. Russia might lie about it being a bomb, since they don't want to lose Airbus money. Russia initially said there was no explosive residue too. But maybe Russia realized that might be kinda bad for Airbus, and they flip-flopped after two weeks. So there's 1 vote for no explosives (Egypt), plus 0.5 votes for no explosives (Russia initially) and 0.5 votes for explosives (Russia later). So that's 1.5 votes for no explosives versus 0.5 votes for explosives. Looks like 'no explosives' wins. Go democracy!

2015-12-14 - 96-foot Christmas tree goes up in flames just after 6:30 AM at plaza in coastal Costa Mesa (California):

Note: Notice that the three big fires here - the burning parking lot, the huge substation fire and the Christmas tree - all occurred in the wee hours and in coastal communities. That's not a coincidence; it's a pattern that's been repeating over and over again in recent years. The wee hours are when the atmosphere cools and contracts, which will push any methane and/or hydrogen sulfide in the air above closer to the ground, making fires, explosions and animals and people sickening and/or dying more common during those hours...

'It was right after we landed, so it wasn't like we had slowed down to a normal taxiing speed. We were still going very fast.' The plane slid off the runway into a ditch after it landed in Nashville Tuesday night."

Note: From the full hypothesis: "As planes land, they will more frequently blow tires, or their landing gear will collapse, or they will run off runways."

Note: This is the 397th RV to burn in 2015...

2015-12-16 - Two pickup trucks and car destroyed by fire in the wee hours while parked in Escondido (California):

Quote: "After the flames broke out, heavy fire and smoke filled the air and a GMC pickup truck was the first to catch fire. Then, flames spread to a Chrysler sedan and a Toyota Tacoma truck. All vehicles were a total loss."

2015-12-17 - Mysterious fiery something seen falling from the sky at 7 AM near coastal Melbourne (Florida), nothing found:

Quote: "A mysterious, fiery object falling from the sky was reported in Brevard County, prompting authorities to launch a search, officials said. Nothing was found after 911 callers reported seeing a fiery object falling to the ground. The calls were received about 7 a.m. Thursday, with reports of the mysterious object striking the area near the Interstate 95 onramp on the southbound side of Palm Bay Road. Palm Bay Fire Rescue crews and police searched the area but found nothing. A check with Melbourne International Airport also turned up no information about the mysterious object, News 6 partner Florida Today reported."

Quote: "The mystery will likely go unsolved, police say."

Note: I don't think there WAS an object here. What they likely saw was an atmospheric gas plume igniting, and it burned from the ignition point downward until there wasn't enough flammable gas left unburned to sustain the 'flash fire'. When that happens, it may look like a burning object in motion, but there's no actual object, which is why they found nothing. A man saw a huge expanding cloud of fire in the sky near coastal Port Townshend (Washington) in August, mentioned in the 2015-08-13 update. That too had to be a 'flash fire' burning off a cloud of flammable gas in the atmosphere, though the cloud he saw burning off must have been significantly larger than the one here in Florida. If the cloud is concentrated enough there may be an explosion and 'flash of light', as with all the mysterious unexplained city-shaking explosions reported around the world in recent years...

2015-12-20 - Unknown fumes sicken people at a Kohl's store in Secaucus (New Jersey), near the Hackensack River and the coast:

Quote: "The Kohl's at Mill Creek Mall was evacuated last night when more than a dozen shoppers fell ill from an unknown airborne substance, police said."

Note: The fumes were worst near the cash registers, which means near the entrance to the store, which means closest to the outside. Sounds like a cloud of hydrogen sulfide blew in through the entrance, or maybe some got sucked into the store via the HVAC system. Those people are lucky to still be alive, but hydrogen sulfide can kill with a delayed reaction of minutes, hours, or even a few days, so some of these people may yet drop dead of a heart attack or a stroke or 'Sudden Adult Death Syndrome' or have an 'untimely death'. Even if some of them do drop dead in the next few days, the odds are that we'll never hear about it...

For residents on Boundary Road and Brentwood Road, it is too late to leave."

Note: Pay attention to what happens in Australia, because if things continue as they have been in recent years then the US West Coast will burn next summer pretty much like Australia burns during their summer, and vice versa, and the fires have been getting worse with every successive year. And there's no reason that that won't continue...

The biggest whale die-off in recorded history happened this year: 337 endangered sei whales were found dead on beaches in the Patagonia region of Chile, mentioned in the 2015-11-20 update. And you can be sure that for every whale or bird or fish or whatever that we find dead, a whole lot more are dying that we'll never know about, because people simply aren't around to notice...

Quote: "Friday's fire is the latest in a series of maritime accidents, involving fires. A speedboat with three people onboard caught fire soon after departing from Reethi Rah resort in Kaafu Atoll on Thursday. The crew were the only people onboard the boat named 'Sirius 19' which was only carrying three. All three people jumped as soon as the fire broke out and were picked up by another speedboat soon after. In September, a speedboat carrying tourists from the airport caught fire leaving several injured."

Note: The speedboat fire was mentioned in the 2015-12-24 update, so that's two boats going up in flames in two days in the Maldives. These are the 1101st and 1102nd boats or ships to burn in 2015...

2015-12-26 - Major winter storm to blast Central US with blizzard conditions, severe weather, life-threatening flooding:

2015-12-26 - Kamchatka (Russia) cut off from the world due to heavy snowfall:

Note: Lots of major destructive events involving large amounts of rainfall, hail and snow in recent times, and especially in the last year or two. It's getting worse and these events are escalating concurrently with the increasing amounts of methane spewing into the atmosphere, which is no coincidence. Methane reacts with ozone and hydroxyl radicals in the atmosphere and degrades into CO2 and water. So as methane enters the atmosphere, we're losing hydroxyl radicals and ozone in the atmosphere (both of which protect us from UV radiation) and at the same time, more water is created in the atmosphere, and we're seeing more incidents involving unusual amounts of precipitation. Sometimes the precipitation will be water, sometimes snow, sometimes hail, but whatever the form of the water falling from the sky, there's going to be more of it.

This is obviously already happening, and it's sure to get worse, at least until we run out of hydroxyl radicals and ozone in the atmosphere. When THAT happens, the Earth will be hit by extreme levels of UV radiation, skin cancer rates will skyrocket, and crops and trees and animals will die off even harder than they already are. So the massive high-precip events are, in a way, sort of a good sign, in the sense that such events indicate that our atmospheric UV protection is not yet entirely destroyed. But as it IS wiped out, you'll see the Sun looking more and more white, as opposed to the yellow that it once was - that's more 'blue' UV light getting through, making the Sun look whiter. If the Sun seems to sting your skin, that's because you're being fried by the rising levels of UV. This will damage DNA/RNA and cause more problems with mutations - albinos, four-armed two-headed people and animals, babies born missing parts of their brains, genetic chimeras, that sort of thing...

2015-12-27 - Mysterious explosion injures man sleeping out at home in coastal Stoke, Nelson (New Zealand):

Quote: "While two appliances were en route, the Fire Service received more calls reporting an explosion at the address. When fire crews arrived they could not see any fire or smoke. However, they found one person suffering 'pretty bad burns', according to Fire Service southern communications shift manager Daryl Ball."

Note: A cloud of methane blows in off the ocean, odorless and invisible, the cloud finds some static electricity or a vehicle or an electronic device or any kind of fire or heat source, and you might expect to explode into flame just like this. Sounds like one of those 'mysterious explosions' that have been reported around the world in recent years, except this explosion wasn't big enough to shake an entire city, and this time it did occur near a residence...

2015-12-29 - Man burns to death in burning RV trailer shortly before 6 AM in Townsend (Delaware):

Note: All vehicles are now randomly-igniting firebombs that can go off at any time, parked or driven. Park a vehicle near anything you don't want to see burning at your own risk. Also, some of these fires disable the electrical system of the vehicle, so if your windows are up and your doors are locked, you can get trapped and burn to death, as many people have. So I'd highly recommend keeping something handy in your vehicle with which to quickly break out windows and cut seatbelts, because if/when your vehicle ignites then you may have only seconds to act before you fall unconscious from lack of oxygen and then unless someone rescues you, you're dead...
