Event Update For 2013-11-06

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

Category: Fires And Explosions
2013-11-06 - Electrical explosion and fire takes one unit offline at nuclear plant in Shippingport (Pennsylvania):
Quote: "A Beaver County nuclear power plant remains offline today as workers with FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Co. check damage from an explosion and electrical wiring fire that broke out Tuesday evening."
Note: Much like all the 'electrical fires' hitting vehicles, but on a bigger scale, with greater effects. Hydrogen sulfide is reactive with copper, especially electrified copper. It's also a heavier-than-air gas and will tend to accumulate in low-lying areas when the wind isn't blowing it on. All nuclear plants require water for cooling, meaning they are all near a low-lying area; that's why the water is there - water is also obviously heavier than air. This nuclear plant is right next to the Ohio River. The huge new multi-billion-dollar NSA complex in Utah can't function now because electrical units outside the facility keep mysteriously exploding and burning, as mentioned in the 2013-10-08 update. An underground electrical fire just hit coastal Manhattan (New York), as mentioned in the 2013-11-04 update.
It's not hard to extrapolate out with this problem. If we could stop the atmospheric contamination problem, we would have done it before it had gathered such momentum. Since we didn't stop the problem when it was weaker, we certainly can't stop it NOW. So it will get worse and worse and worse, like an invisible tidal wave of doom rising around us. Complete electrical grid collapse? The US government is training for just that, this month, GridEx II, as mentioned in the 2013-10-18 update. Sounds like some prudent training to me.

Note: You don't want to put anything flammable next to any rusty iron/steel, else when some hydrogen sulfide blows by, the reaction with the rust may send sparks blowing onto the flammable stuff, and then you have a fire...

Quote: "Police say the van malfunctioned, causing the fire. 'About ten minutes later the car started catching on fire,' said Mark Kifer, one of the neighbors who tried to resuscitate the man. 'So the fire had nothing to do with his death.'"

Note: The fire didn't kill him, no, but the same thing that killed him may have had something to do with the fire. Hydrogen sulfide is both deadly and flammable, and it's reactive with copper, especially electrified copper, and rusty iron/steel. This same scenario is probably how a young couple ended up burning to death in their SUV in McFarland (Wisconsin), as mentioned in the 2013-01-01 update: they were knocked unconscious or dead by hydrogen sulfide, which also ignited their vehicle, and then even if they weren't already dead, they just sat in their vehicle unconscious as the flames consumed them.

There've been many other people incinerated in their vehicles since that McFarland event, but that was such a sad story that my mind keeps going back to it. Another sad story was a woman who burned to death on her porch swing in West Frankfort (Illinois), as mentioned in the 2012-02-07 update. That was the event that made me realize that people burning to death was going to be a growing problem, and indeed, that has been the case, with the number of such events steadily rising since then. An atmosphere increasingly contaminated by flammable gases, more burning people - it's just logical, even obvious in retrospect...
