Note: As mentioned long ago, hydrogen sulfide will be knocking people unconscious - and in some cases dead - as they drive, causing vehicular accidents. Bus drivers sit right next to a window, which they often have open, and they also get hit by air from the door as passengers board or get off. There've been a number of incidents of bus drivers losing consciousness, especially in the past year, and this problem will get worse as the atmospheric contamination proceeds. Hydrogen sulfide is neurotoxic and can cause brain damage. Each of these bouts of unconsciousness is probably damaging the person's brain somewhat. It may not be huge damage, but they'll get more forgetful, maybe experience personality changes, start losing their ability to call up words when speaking, that sort of thing. People losing consciousness while driving is likely the reason for many of the head-on accidents, cars crashing off bridges, cars plunging into bodies of water, cars hitting trees and bursting into flame, etc. Those stories don't get as much news coverage because it's just one or two cars, not a bus. Also, many times these accidents leave no survivors, so there's nobody left to discuss what happened...

Note: Blamed on fog. Could be.
