What a horrific experience. You were a toug...Wow! What a horrific experience. You were a tough little guy to fight through that.

During my adult life I have averaged getting the flu about once every 7 or so years. I don't know if it was luck or a good immune system. Many seem to get the flu either annually, or around once every two or three years. But I have gotten a flu, or a virus in general, three times over the past three years. I'm not a happy camper about it. I got the flu in 2017, skipped 2018, then had two this past year. Not sure if the one I had in October was a flu. It seemed to be more of a stomach virus with the dreaded diarrhea. The first night I had a very hot temperature of 104, and probably 105 for a while. I had the worst chills in my life. The uncontrollable shaking was very disconcerting, to say the least. I've had chills before, but nothing like that night. Then it took over a week to recover fully. But there was only one night of fever. So I don't know what the hell that virus was.

Anyway, my lucky streak with viruses is over. Hence the Elderberry. Hoping it helps at least somewhat. Mike Dhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14457050132624768898noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4388504906915444063.post-14457735228346088702020-01-24T09:51:00.671-06:002020-01-24T09:51:00.671-06:00I *almost* died from the 1968 Hong Kong flu pandem...I *almost* died from the 1968 Hong Kong flu pandemic. I got a fever, family was concerned, but thought I might be okay at home. Then I puked and my fever spiked really bad. They called our doc, and he said to get me in a tub with some ice and he'd be right over (house calls!). He saw me, took my temp (108F) and told my family to get me to the hospital immediately.

I was barely conscious on the way, lost consciousness before I was checked in. The flu had spread, and I had bronchitus and pneumonia in both lungs. I woke up briefly under an oxygen tent, barely able to breathe. And then for the next day I was in and out of consciousness. Every breath was a terrible struggle, just mind-bendingly difficult. More than once I thought that that might be it, that I might not be able to take another breath. I was very weak. But an inner voice kept telling me, you can do it. One breath at a time. Do that and you'll live. So one breath at a time I plodded through the day as my body fought a war with that virus.

Finally, I regained consciousness and I could tell that I'd beaten it. The fever had broken and I wasn't bathed in sweat. Breathing was easier. But surviving that virus, fighting that battle, it changed me physiologically. I went into the hospital a mildly plump little boy, and I came out a shriveled-up skeletal waif. I was incredibly skinny and had problems putting on weight for the next 30 years.

That was the closest I ever came to dying. I was literally at Death's door for a while.Jonny Mnemonichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06516458612879773986noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4388504906915444063.post-33029738469645709202020-01-24T09:40:20.596-06:002020-01-24T09:40:20.596-06:00Several weeks ago I read about an Australian study...Several weeks ago I read about an Australian study that showed pretty conclusively that Elderberry is pretty effective in staving off the flu virus, or at least helps to lessen the effects of it if caught. I read this before the coronovirus story really blew up, but I started drinking Elderberry tea to help with the "regular" flu that is going around. I also just recently started taking Elderberry capsules daily as well. Just thought I'd throw that out there for those who might be interested. I really hate getting sick with viruses. Any viruses. I damn sure don't want to die that way. That would really suck.Mike Dhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14457050132624768898noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4388504906915444063.post-90816864823299927462020-01-24T09:18:37.651-06:002020-01-24T09:18:37.651-06:00PIE NET ZERO

This thing is spreading all over very quickly, and still mutating. Now, instead of getting a fever first, the goddamned virus just straight up KILLS due to multiple organ failure. Meanwhile the fact that China (1st or a close 2nd global economy) will become the first country to be hit hard ECONOMICALLY by this virus causes real concern that the rest of the globe will also be affected (economically as well as from the disease). The knock-on effects can cause an extended slow down of the global economy, which we've read can cause the rapid overheating of the planet due to reduced emissions of particulates (aerosol masking effect), and then we're off to the collapse of civilization races!

When we're dealing with a pandemic for which we have NO IMMUNITY, any "worst case" scenario could become the norm very quickly - especially if people start to panic.

As Jonny says, the [pale] horse[man] is already out of the barn. The situation is going to deteriorate quickly, so that by Spring we'll be in full-blown crisis mode, the way i see it. The airport screenings are just a show - very few people even show symptoms. All the other people on all those planes that carried infected people all over the world should also have been quarantined as a precaution, but they weren't, so the disease is now spreading uncontrollably, and (as one article said) people are walking around in public unaware that they are even infected. Who knows how many students at Texas A & M are now infected - THEY won't even know for a few weeks whether they're even sick or not! Then they go home to their families and neighborhoods and spread it even further.

This could very well be the initial event that causes the whole of humanity to go extinct.

Tomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02819564675299071481noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4388504906915444063.post-89744399853654585472020-01-24T08:41:03.364-06:002020-01-24T08:41:03.364-06:00There are now two very intelligent guys I know, wh...There are now two very intelligent guys I know, whose opinion on these types of matters that I trust, who have said that this will most likely be a global pandemic. In Zambezia, the province with the highest number of people affected, flooding since the beginning of 2020 has damaged infrastructure, destroyed crops and led to displacement. Nearly 2,300 hectares of crops are currently flooded, less than two months before the planned harvest. [more]

Chinese Mystery Disease Update No 7: Coronavirus linked to pigs? NO JET FUEL) unsuspiciously, then following up with yet another home explosion and a commercial building also blasting apart (with a person catching fire in the process), then moving along to the multi-JJFH events in NC, the young dog suddenly dying, the top-shape athlete keeling over (along with the man in his bathroom) and all the college students dropping dead - what other conclusion can we come to except that JJFH is the real deal?! Every headline on your post points to it, because it's happening so frequently: all the cars suddenly going up in flames, the "medical episode-caused" weird accidents, planes coming down on fire, electrical infrastructure regularly exploding, and this is EVERY DAY!

Great job, Jonny! Thanks again for keeping us all informed of the persistent spread of toxic and flammable gases wreaking havoc on civilization in so many ways.

A ‘High-Level Exercise’ Conducted 3 Months Ago Showed That A Coronavirus Pandemic Could Kill 65 Million People
http://theeconomiccollapseblog.com/archives/a-high-level-pandemic-exercise-conducted-3-months-ago-showed-that-a-coronavirus-pandemic-could-kill-65-million-people

Just over three months ago, a “high-level pandemic exercise” entitled “Event 201” was held in New York City. On October 18th the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security, in conjunction with the World Economic Forum and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, brought together “15 leaders of business, government, and public health” to simulate a scenario in which a coronavirus pandemic was ravaging the planet. The current coronavirus outbreak that originated in China did not begin until December, and so at that time it was supposedly just a hypothetical exercise.

I find it quite interesting that the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation was involved, because they are also financial backers of the institute that was granted a U.S. patent for “an attenuated coronavirus” in November 2018.

It appears that the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation has been quite interested in the threat posed by coronaviruses for quite some time.
